A 73-year-old Albuquerque man is facing felony charges after scuffling with a man – apparently because of the color of his skin.
Frederick Dotson was looking at new homes on the city’s southwest mesa over the weekend when he was approached by Roland Pyle, who attacked Dotson.
According to a criminal complaint filed in metro court, Pyle was looking for “the black guy who he felt was being unfair to his son†and picked the first black man he saw, his wife egging him on.
“What I found out later was that his son was a contractor and he didn’t do a job right,†said Dotson. “The African-American explained to him that he needed to redo it.â€
Dotson says that he tried to explain he wasn’t the man Pyle was looking for but Pyle wasn’t listening.
After some pushing and punches, Pyle pulled a gun and fired a shot in the air. When police arrived on the scene, Pyle had been subdued.
“It just goes to show you there’s a lot of racial tension out there,†said Dotson
——————————-Britain’s Prince Harry heading to Iraq: report

LONDON — Prince Harry will be serving as a soldier in Iraq by the end of the month, a British newspaper reported Saturday, though government officials called the story speculative.
The Daily Mirror newspaper — citing an unnamed senior military official — reported that Defence Secretary Des Browne is expected to announce Feb. 26 that the prince, who is third in line to the throne, will be deployed along with his regiment near Basra in southern Iraq.
A royal family spokesman declined to comment and the Defence Ministry called the report speculative, saying upcoming Iraq deployments had yet to be finalized.
The 22-year-old prince, known as Troop Commander Wales by his regiment — the Blues and Royals — has trained to command 11 soldiers and four Scimitar tanks.

The Defence Ministry has previously confirmed Prince Harry could go to Iraq if his unit was deployed there, but said he might be kept out of situations where his presence would jeopardize his comrades.
Prince Harry’s brother Prince William, training as a troop leader within the Blues and Royals, cannot be deployed to war zones because he is second in line to the British crown.
Britain has 7,000 troops based in southern Iraq and plans to reduce numbers through the course of 2007, government officials have said.
Harry, who graduated last year from Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, said in a 2005 interview that he was keen to fight for his country.
“There’s no way I’m going to put myself through Sandhurst and then sit on my arse back home while my boys are out fighting for their country,†he said.
In joining the military, Harry followed a royal tradition: Charles was a pilot with the Royal Air Force and Royal Navy and Harry’s grandfather, Prince Philip, had a distinguished career in the Royal Navy.
Harry’s uncle, Prince Andrew, was a Royal Navy pilot and served in the Falklands war against Argentina

Have you guys watched that movie clip of the German tourist arguing his position to a ugly jew. That clip tells a lot. It shows that the Hollywood psychological babble works both ways. To you guys and me, he was a friendly and probably very egotistical German. All of which are fantastic traits to possess.

A new tax season is approaching, and I suggest humbly that you remind your listeners that when they get gleeful when they get a little of THEIR money back at the end of the year that it is–in fact–money stolen from them before they even get their hands on it.
Furthermore, the money is “held” by “our” government giving the taxpayer 0% interest. But if YOU, as a taxpayer, fail to pay your shekels to Uncle Schmuel you WILL be fined, penalized and charged interest. Even if you have to pay them off in an installment plan, they charge you $105 bucks on the top just to do so.
Remember, this is money you might be getting back, but even if you are it is YOUR money and they’re doing you no favors. They’re ROBBING you.
