Seen on the TV: a historian saying that 40,000 men died at Iwo Jima during WWII. Big deal. Since 2002, the neoconservative ideology has killed probably 4 million people (mostly civilians) in Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya and Syria [1], in addition to creating massive political instability in the Middle East and massive hatred of America there as well. Wonder if George Will is going to address those issues?

The majority of the so-called 40 thousand would no doubt be Japanese soldiers. The death toll numbers are all over the board. On a sliding scale, marines suffered as much as they invaded. The Japanese used the islands as unsinkable aircraft carriers. The soldiers were left to fight it out to the last extremity. No problem. Everything is cool. Keeping with tradition, the leviathan Federal army has Japan under perpetual occupation with Negro soldiers.

Strange that the U.S. military cannot destroy ISIS oil convoys enroot to Turkey but easily destroys retreating troops and tanks with their turrets down (a war crime). But then again, only enemies of the New World Order commit war crimes. When the war crimes advance the New World Order, tis legitimate military action.
