      These are great shows Alex.
Just wanted to compliment you on your critique of the issues.
You’re very good at what you do.

By the way, Mr. Brownstone is my favorite guns n roses song.
Great song to start the show.

Alex,I think your radio istina is great. I was a little disappointed to hear you say the other day on FTL,that you feel like you’re putting on a clown nose and entertaining us.That aint it. I’ve learned more from you in the past few months than I did in school my whole life. What you’re doing here is great, and you are to be commended.

    8. Jim Says:

Your show is the most informative show on the web. I agree with Alex on just about everything, but did I hear Alex say that he preferred libertarianism over National Socialism? In order to rid out new Aryan Nation of kikes, niggers, and spics, we need a very strong central government. In my opinion NS is the ONLY system that can accomplish this. Libertarianism is too individualistic.

    9. alex Says:

An approach more ‘free market’ within a racial dictatorship is what I favor. I don’t have a name for it. What I said there are those on our side who favor a big government across the board – genuine socialists – and others who lean my way.

It turns out that in fact the ‘nazis’ were not at all opposed to entrepreneurship and free enterprise within their racial state. They controlled raw materials, but beneath that, they largely allowed corporations to go their own way and did not create lots of government-run entities. They were not at all like the Soviet Union, with which they are often compared.

Thread on NS economic policy here:
      http://vnnforum.com/showthread.php?t=68459

Academic study demonstrating nazis were far more free-market than most give credit for:
      http://www.pdfdownload.org/pdf2html/pdf2html.php?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.econ.yale.edu%2Fseminars%2Fechist%2Feh04-05%2Fbuchheim102004.pdf&images=yes

Basic problem here is that many WN are right on race but wrong about much else – or, differently put, they are garden variety leftist/socialists on non-racial matters, which shows their ignorance. In many ways WN ignorance on economic laws parallels libertarian ignorance of biological laws. What I’m pleased to find is that the real German national socialists were well aware of incentive and the need for private property, and were not in fact totalitarian socialist centralizers as is often claimed the case by academics and neocon shills.

    10. sgruber Says:

Alex, how do you reconcile your statement that class size is immaterial to pedogogic effectiveness with your statement later on that one-on-one instruction is superior (both from an earlier Istina)?

      These shows are great.

    11. shabbos s. shabazz Says:

Well, that will be the next big debate.

For Jim, see the Birdman on libertarianism, especially the section the Libertarian Blind Spot

      in reply:
I can take a stab at this one.

The idea that class size is immaterial to pedagogical effectiveness is true in the application of the educational industrial complex to turning out large numbers of worker drones.

The Japanese system, for instance, proves this point.

That having been said, the quantity issue, of teaching many students at once in what essentially is rote instruction, which is the foundation of education, versus the quality issue, which is the superiority of one on one instruction, comes from the different purposes of the two systems.

Quantity turns out a lot of workers with assured common baselines of education, and values, in place.

Quality – the one on one – structures the INDIVIDUAL learning to the needs of the individual. This takes place AFTER the rote-based mass production foundation is in place. Thus, for example, apprenticeship programs – the blue collar version of tutors – match smaller and smaller amounts of class time, with more and more time with the individual instructor, the certified Master in his field of endeavor.

You’re comparing apples and oranges. Mass production education has to aim at the average student. The dull get lost; the smart get bored.

But they have done numerous studies and found that, for mass education, class size does not make a difference. I believe this was one of the findings of the Coleman Report(s). Google it. It is the same report that found that money does not significantly affect educational outcomes.

Tutoring – one on one teaching – is obviously, by definition, tailored to the particular needs and aptitudes of the student. So the tutor can go as fast as the student can handle. Not the same thing at all as public school education which is one size fits all.

One of the biggest reasons homeschooling is taking off, apart from the ability to get away from judeo-socialist indoctrination, is precisely the customization, the flexibility, HS allows that PS does not.

    15. alex Says:

What you read in the papers is always lies. Thus, when it comes to education, you always hear demands for smaller classes and higher pay for teachers.

NEITHER OF THESE HAS ANY EFFECT ON OUTCOMES.

But the reporters, because they are ignorant and biased, and the teachers, because they are interested, will never tell you the truth. You have to look it up for yourself. THE MSM ALWAYS LIE.

    16. sgruber Says:

      Thanks Alex.
