ADL Director Abraham Foxman (Archive)
ADL to U.S.: Freeze seaport contract with UAE due to Israel boycott
By Shlomo Shamir, Haaretz Correspondent, and The Associated Press
The Anti-Defamation League is demanding the American administration prevent a Dubai-owned corporation from operating seaports in the United States until the United Arab Emirates issues an official statement indicating it has abandoned the boycott of Israel.
"Dubai continues to be an active partner in the economic boycott of Israel," ADL Director Abraham Foxman told Haaretz on Tuesday.
"This fact alone is reason enough to suspend or even cancel the implementation of the contract [for the operation of the seaports]," Foxman said.

Israel a factor in ports deal
WASHINGTON -- Senate Democrats Tuesday opened a new line of attack against the controversial Dubai ports deal, challenging a top executive of the United Arab Emirates firm to explain that nation's support of a boycott against Israel.
But President George W. Bush showed no signs of backing down, voicing renewed support for the deal Tuesday even as a new poll shows seven in 10 Americans oppose it.
An embattled Bush also hit an all-time low approval rating amid the port controversy, with just one in three Americans saying he's doing a good job.
Dubai Ports World is seeking to take over some terminal operations at six major U.S. ports. The company Sunday agreed to an added 45-day security review but that has done little to quell the controversy.

Bags Of Cocaine Brought To Class By Second-Grader
Some Children Taste White Substance
PHILADELPHIA -- Police have confirmed that a white substance found in 18 bags brought to a southwest Philadelphia school by a 7-year-old girl is cocaine.
Patterson Elementary School officials said that plastic bags of cocaine were found inside a second-grade classroom and that some of the students ate the drugs.
Parents want to know if school officials are handling the situation properly.
At least one child ingested some of the drugs and another child was taken to a hospital late Tuesday afternoon to be checked out.
"I was upset because they didn't call me and tell me what was going on," said Shinette Brown, a parent of one of the students affected.

Israelis ask Oscars to drop suicide bomb film
JERUSALEM (Reuters) - A group of Israelis who lost children to Palestinian suicide bombings appealed on Wednesday to organizers of next week's Academy Awards to disqualify a film exploring the reasoning behind such attacks. The bereaved parents said they had gathered more than 32,000 signatures on a petition against the nomination in the best foreign film category of "Paradise Now", a drama about two West Bank friends recruited to blow themselves up in Tel Aviv.

R.G Fowler:
"I loved the AR conference too, and I too thought the low point was the grandstanding of David Duke and Michael Hart. Duke had a very simple question of Guillaume Faye: "Did Jewish organizations play as large a role in opening Europe to non-White immigration as they did in the US?""
I'm curious as to whether Guillaume Faye answered David Duke's question?
As to Jewish organizations playing a large role in opening the U.S. to nonwhite immigration, Chilton Williamson, Jr. had this to say in the February edition of 'Middle American News':
"For decades, it was considered impolitic, as well as impolite, for non-Jews to take public note of the extent to which pro-immigration politics in the United States since the 1930's have been marked, and even dominated, by individual Jews and by Jewish organizations. In recent years that taboo has broken down, until nowadays a conscious Jewish stratagem of some seventy years' duration to diffuse an Aryan majority by importing people of color to the United States is a subject for open discussion. I think that if I were an American Jew today, with a concern for both Israel and for the Jews as a diasporic people, reading the newspapers, and asking, along with the rest of the world, 'Whither Israel after Sharon?', I'd be paying at least as close attention to invasion and the demographic war at home in America as to the matter of the Israeli succession, and if and when Iran gets the bomb, or doesn't."

Although I agree with you that the story blaming Israel for 9/11 is a canard, there is plenty of evidence - in fact it has never been a secret - that Israel helped to get Hamas started. At the time, years ago, Arafat's PLO was seen as the main enemy to Israel in the West Bank, and the Israelis wanted to create a rival force which would weaken them. I suppose you could say the Israelis have been hoist by their own petard, literally.
But the facts of the case are not in dispute. This story has appeared all over the world in countless media outlets. The NV is certainly anti-semitic, but in this case they are certainly right, though only repeating common knowledge.

What is this madness about banning fellow White National-
ists from the next Conference? If it does so, Amren will lose
All, I repeat All credibility and deservedly so. Now is the time
for unity among us not division, else you do the work of the ADL
for them. Assuming of course, that you are not with the ADL to
begin with. Anyone who dismisses that possibility does not know
the way the world works. Almost certainly in that group of 250
there were one or two observers from the Goverment or the ADL.
As the previous poster stated, there will be no White Nat-
ionalist Movement without an exhaustive and public examination
of the Jewish Question. Yes, there will be moments of Rage and
inappropriateness. What do you expect after decades of deceit,
oppression, and official silence? Jews of good will must have
the humility to bear this. Nothing quiets rage quicker than be-
ing listened to. Jews are great talkers, but can they listen?
We don't have the right to ask this of you? Oh, yes we do. We de-
mand from you what you have demanded from us for decades, that
we examine our motives. It's your dirty laundry, none of our bus-
iness? Oh, but it is. The future of our Civilization is at stake,
so it most certainly is our business. Better to not have Jewish
Support for our Movement than to have it with bad faith or for
the wrong reasons.
By the way, there are Jewish Revisionists. A Revisionist is
not someone who denies Jews in Concentration Camps, but someone
who is looking for the truth about what happened to who. And Dav-
id Duke condemns White Turncoats just as much as the Jews if you
bother to actually read his books. Have you? Finally, the Orig-
inal KKK did a Great Work in the Old South: they protected White
Women against rampaging Blacks. In a conquered land they kept the
faith and won the Peace. Didn't know that? Do the work, it's im-
portant.

Teacher 'sends' Jewish student to furnace
Incident takes place in one of Paris' prestigious schools; police launches investigation into affair after student's parents file criminal complaint
PARIS -- On Sunday, tens of thousands of people marched through the streets of the city of lights in a huge protest against anti-Semitism. It seems, however, that one demonstration, regardless of how big it was, is not enough to eradicate the ugly phenomenon.
The Le Parisien newspaper revealed Tuesday that a schoolteacher seeking to punish a Jewish student proposed that the boy "go to a furnace," Israel's leading newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reported Wednesday.
The incident took place about a month ago at one of Paris' prestigious catholic school. During a physics class, a 10th grade student was busy chatting with his classmate.
The teacher, named Pierre, asked the Jewish youth to leave the classroom and wait in the yard, which the students and teachers refer to as "the fridge" because of the intense cold that prevails there during the winter.
But the punishment apparently did not suffice, and just before the student left the classroom the teacher told him that "if you don't like it in the fridge, there is always room for you in the furnace."
Emotionally charged connotation
A number of days later, the student's parents filed a criminal complaint to the police, as well as a complaint to the supervisor of Paris' education establishment.
Two supervisors were sent to the school and began questioning the students and teachers.
The French word for "furnace" (four) bears a highly emotionally charged connotation in France. Therefore, many of the Jewish community members refuse to view the teacher's remark toward a Jewish student as an innocent slip of the tongue. The fact that jews are whiny, hypersenitive bitches, is also thought to have something to do with it.

The Jews are so brazen and so open, I mean, "You must have elections!" "You

stupid.
"Our figures show that 90% supports this group that wants to drive the Jews
into the sea."
"You must have elections!"
"Hey, eh, OK, we had elections. This group was elected!"
"Well, that's not democratic. We want you to vote again and vote for the 10%
party because this is a democracy. Don't you know what that means? It means
you vote for who the Jews tell you to vote for, or else it's illegitimate."

The Hypocrisy of the West when It Comes to Free Speech

cartoons; use your browser's back-button to return.)
It was about 25 years ago when the headlines about Free Speech's death in
England began making their rounds. A gifted cartoonist, Robert Edwards, had
done the unthinkable: He dared to laugh at Jews. You can laugh about lots of
things in the world; but, as he learned the hard way, Jews are supposed to
be off-limits. For this, he went to jail--for a year at that.

Subject: Iraq falling apart
Iraq's worst week -- and Bush's
As Americans finally begin to grasp the magnitude of the Iraq catastrophe, Bush's popularity hits a new low.
By Juan Cole
March 1, 2006 | The catastrophe in Iraq, the scope of which is now apparent to even the most disengaged observer, and his mishandling of the Dubai port issue have sent President George W. Bush's public approval ratings to the lowest of his presidency. According to a Reuters poll, only 34 percent of Americans believe he is doing a good job overall. Only 30 percent, less than a third, think he is managing the Iraq situation well. A remarkable 72 percent of American troops polled in Iraq think the U.S. should leave Iraq within the next year. Nor is there any hope for Bush on the horizon. The bloody events in Iraq have undermined American authority in that country and in the Middle East more generally. The Shiite clergy of Iran and Iraq have bolstered their own authority at Bush's expense. This development has already severely limited his scope of action in Iran, and will doubtless have many other negative consequences in the months and years ahead.
Tactically, strategically and politically Bush now finds himself in the worst of all possible worlds. With Americans increasingly fed up with the Iraq debacle, he needs to start drawing down troops soon, but he can't do it while the country teeters on the brink of civil war. If civil war does break out, a U.S. withdrawal will look even more like cutting and running -- under these circumstances, not even Karl Rove will be able to figure out a way to get away with simply declaring victory and going home. Yet if American troops stay, they have no good options either. The U.S. desperately needs to keep the Sunnis in the government, but if Shiites launch reprisal attacks against Sunnis, Americans will not be able to respond for fear that the Shiites, too, will turn on them -- as indeed they have already begun to do. And as the shrine bombing shows, Iraq is a vial of nitroglycerine that can be set off with one shake. Imagine what would happen if one of the leading clerics, Sunni or Shiite, was assassinated. It is difficult to say how aware Bush is of the reality in Iraq, but some part of him must be cursing the day he decided to invade it.
Iraq has just lived through its worst week since the U.S. invasion. The blood bath in the aftermath of the destruction of a major Shiite shrine has taken more than 1,300 lives, as enraged Shiite mobs attacked Sunni mosques, burning some to the ground, and killed many Sunnis. (A proportional number of deaths in the U.S. would be 15,000 -- more than the number of U.S. troops who died in D-Day and Okinawa, the Pacific theater's bloodiest battle, combined.) After a weekend daytime curfew, the country appeared to step back from the brink on Monday, but on Tuesday guerrilla violence, including the car-bombing of a mosque, killed 60 and wounded three times that many. It seems clear that the guerrilla tactic of provoking sectarian civil war was on the verge of succeeding last week, and Tuesday's events suggest that time may well be on the side of the guerrillas.

San Francisco Gun Ban Delayed by NRA Suit
SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - The city has agreed to delay enforcing a voter-approved
ban on owning or selling handguns until a judge can consider a National
Rifle Association lawsuit challenging the law.
The ban was put to voters in November by the San Francisco County Board of
Supervisors. The NRA sued the day after 58 percent of the voters approved
it.
City Attorney Dennis Herrera said Monday that the city would honor a judge's
request and delay enforcement until at least June 19.
If upheld, San Francisco's measure would outlaw handgun possession by city
residents and prohibit the manufacture and sales of guns and ammunition
within city limits.
