We especially are, uh, thrilled to note the homosexual-themed ["Brokeback Mountain"] and race-baiting-themed ["Crash"] movies that are up for Best Picture awards, and also, Dolly Parton singing a happy song about transsexuals on the show. God save the trannies! Snip, snip! [2].

Of course everyone has seen the Talmudvision portrayals of Nazis as dumb, buffoonish, clowns easily outwitted by the clever, quick-witted, jew-like, allied soldiers. Alternatively, Nazis are portrayed as the ultimate vermin that had to be eradicated for the good of humanity. Sure that's the typical Nazi stereotype, but what is seldom hinted at in these modern portrayals is just how smart the Germans actually are and just how efficient the Nazi's system was at technological development. Thanks to jewish propaganda, few people realize just how much the allied powers based their future technological advances on Nazi technology.
During the war British jet engine development ran coincidentally with German efforts. The Americans and Soviets were given their jet engine technology by the British. However what is almost never discussed is the fact that while the British developed the clunky, cantankerous, centrifugal flow jet engine, the Germans developed the far more efficient axial flow turbine engine. As soon as the war was over and German jet technology was accessed by the allied powers, all development moved towards the German's axial flow design. General Electric's earliest successful jet engine was in fact based on German axial flow technology. Can you guess how many current technology, centrifugal flow, jet engine designs are operating in the world today?
The Germans also developed the high speed Type XXI U-boat towards the end of the war. The type XXI was very streamlined and considerably faster and longer ranged than the earlier U-boat designs and it employed a much more efficient design for its electric propulsion system. As soon as the allies accessed German U-boat technology the American "Guppy" type submarine was introduced. Can you guess what hull design and electric propulsion system this American submarine mimicked? Today there is a Soviet "Foxtrot" class submarine docked in Seattle that any German U-boat commander would immediately recognize as a German U-boat. The Soviet copy was commissioned in 1974; can you guess which German U-boat design the Soviets were still copying almost thirty years after the end of WWII?
The Germans pioneered cruise missile technology with the V-1. Later they developed the precursor to the intercontinental ballistic missile the V-2. During the war allied powers had no missile technology to speak of outside of a few types of small air to air and air to ground tactical missiles. After the war ended and the allies accessed German missile technology guess how long it took for the allies to develop this technology for their own military use. Now guess which missile technology is currently favored by all modern military forces. Hint: V-1 or V-2?
During the war Germany developed the most toxic nerve gas technology in the world know as "Sarin". Sarin was developed into an advanced binary nerve agent, meaning that when combined, two essentially harmless components became this deadly nerve agent. After the end of WWII, guess which nerve agent was used as a model by military powers throughout the world. Although the V-1 was configured to carry the Sarin nerve agent, Hitler never allowed its use. The best explanation to date as why the Nazis refused to use their nerve agents is that they feared reprisals. Yet this explanation does not square with account of Hitler's insane, murderous, order to destroy Paris or commit Germany to a suicidal fight to the last man in defense of German territory. If Hitler was so insanely murderous and suicidal, then why would he have withheld the use of Sarin gas? If he truly feared reprisal, then why would he not fear reprisals for ordering the destruction of Paris? And perhaps someone out there could explain why the Nazis with stockpiles of Sarin would use a common delousing agent in a genocidal attempt to gas jews. To date no one else can explain the reason for this oversight, maybe the Nazis were just too stupid to use the right type of gas, eh? Is it just me or has anyone else noticed how so many historical accounts concerning the Nazis simply do not square with reality?
Prior to WWII the German economy was on the skids. Under pressure form the international jewish banker's gold backed system, the German mark was suffering from hyperinflation. When Hitler came to power he discovered the international jewish bankers had intentionally bankrupted the country by removing all the gold from the German treasury as payment for WWI repatriations. Hitler's answer to this situation was to take Germany off the international jewish banker's gold standard and put the German economy on the new Nazi labor standard. Under Hitler's economic system Germany's balance of trade and their Reichmark were backed by German labor instead of Jewish gold.
Some forty years later Richard Nixon took America off the gold standard by repudiating the Bretton Woods agreement and America's dollar was hence forth touted to be backed by its immense productive effort. Germany prospered under Hitler's economic system and was enjoying an economic boom during a time when the rest of the world was suffering under the great depression due in large part to the international jewish banker's gold backed economic system(s). Can you guess where Richard Nixon's economic advisors and international jewish bankers came up with the idea to use labor instead of gold to back the American dollar? More importantly can you figure out why Germany prospered under their labor-backed economic system while America's economy is going down the toilet under essentially the same system? Now, some 63 years after the fact and using the most modern computer technology, a network of individuals have finally managed a feat the cleverest allied minds of WWII could not, they have finally cracked a WWII code generated by the German's Enigma machine. And to think it only took 63 years of non-German, technological advancement to break those stupid ol' Nazi's WWII code!

Time and time again, German wartime technology is found as the underlying basis of current technology. So just how accurate is the jewish media's portrayal of the those evil, buffoonish, clowns we think of as Nazis? Contrary to popular myth, Germany actually spent very little of its prewar GNP on military expenditures, Nazi Germany's economic strength was NOT predicated on military rearmament. Economic figures show that German military spending did not grow to any truly appreciable levels until after the war was well under way and unlike jews, straight facts and figures do not lie. Imagine what Germany might have accomplished if the destructive and parasitical, international jewish bankers had not forced the world into a war against the Nazis. Imagine what the Germans might have accomplished had they used their genius for peaceful purposes instead of being forced to squander their time, money and effort in fighting a war fomented by the international jew - the thought truly boggles the mind.

cells or isolation confinement. Even during the war the inmates received
unlimited numbers of very welcome "Care" packages. There was even a brothel in

In his strikingly personal book Jews and American Politics, author Stephen D. Isaacs spells out some very pertinent questions right on the dust-jacket. He asks: "Why is the political power of American Jews -- and their contribution -- far greater than their numbers?" "Why do Jews seldom run for office, and why do so many work behind the scenes as strategists?" The book is based on personal interviews with 200 leading American Jews, many of whom initially balked at the thought of "letting it all hang out" for the goyim to read, and react to. This paranoia is well-illustrated in a most curious appraisal of the book by Joseph Raft: "A vast storehouse of information on a touchy subject which is poorly understood by Jews and their enemies." Raft might as well have changed the period comma and added "the goyim". To the political Jew, the world is not populated by Jews and non-Jews, it is populated by Jews a nd "their enemies".
Isaac provides a multitude of examples, many in direct response to his manuscript:
"Though well aware of the inbred dread of impending doom, this writer was startled by responses of noted public men on the subject of anti-Semitism. One question was repeated to most of those who gave longer interviews for this book: 'Do you think it could happen here?' (Never was it necessary to define 'it'.) As the world commemorates the 60th anniversary of the liberation of the Nazi death camp at Auschwitz as Holocaust Memorial Day, there are still those who for their own reasons, deny the testimony of history. D D Guttenplan, author of The Holocaust on Trial: History, Justice and the David Irving Libel Case asks: should freedom of speech stop at Holocaust denial?
The ironies of history are seldom subtle. Thus Charles Clarke's announcement, on the eve of Holocaust Memorial Day, that the government will seek to end the centuries-long right of habeas corpus and that henceforth mere suspicion of certain terrorist activities may result in detention.
Listening to the Prime Minister's plea that we retain a sense of proportion, and that the new measures will only affect "a handful of people" (though the newspaper accounts suggested that coverage would extend to animal rights activists and Northern Irish militants as well as suspected al-Qaeda cells) one could hardly help recalling Martin Niemoller's auto-indictment: 'First, they came for the Communists'.
So I may perhaps be excused for pointing out that the conflict at the centre of proposals to outlaw Holocaust Denial in Britain -- between freedom of speech and freedom from a form of racist harassment -- has its own history. In 1949 the United States Supreme Court had to decide whether the city of Chicago acted rightly in fining Arthur Terminiello, a Roman Catholic priest, $100 for breaching the peace by making a speech attacking "atheistic, communistic Jewish or Zionist Jews".
The record doesn't show whether Terminiello's career as a Jew-baiter extended to Holocaust denial, but his case is relevant to the current debate even without such obvious cues. Robert Jackson, one of the judges who heard Terminiello's appeal, had been chief US prosecutor at Nuremberg. Weimar Germany's failure to defend its constitutional order was still fresh in his mind when Jackson warned his colleagues "if the court does not temper its doctrinaire logic with a little practical wisdom, it will convert the Constitutional Bill of Rights into a suicide pact".
Not everyone who favours making Holocaust Denial a crime in Britain advances a rational argument for doing so. When To ny Blair said in 1997 that there was "a very strong case" for a law against Holocaust denial he never went into specifics - an omission which looks prudent now that his government has apparently lost its enthusiasm. Still, while it is unfashionable to say so, I believe there are at least two strong arguments in favor of such a law, and that both arguments deserve to be taken seriously.
The first argument is that Holocaust denial is a form of racial abuse directed not just at Jews but at a particularly vulnerable subset of Jews. As someone who spent more time than I liked reading the works of Robert Faurisson, Arthur Butz and David Irving I can attest that this is the case.
For all their pseudo-scholarly [code word meaning "we can't refute what they say, so we pretend it's not scientifice"] decoration, the deniers' devotion to historical argument is on a par with Terminiello's contribution to theological disputation. To fail to acknowledge the pain felt by Holocaust survivors [ah yes: rape, murder, "fail to acknowledge pain"] at the negation of their own experience -- or to treat such pain as a particularly Jewish problem which need not trouble anyone else -- is to deny our common humanity. [As the jewish rabbis do when they say even the best of the dirty animals (goyim) should be killed."]
Which in many cases is precisely the abuser's aim - not to lure the rest of us into joining in, but simply to further isolate the victims by our indifference. [A jew wouldn't know from motive spotting like a fish wouldn't know from water. All we dirty goyim have is facts and evidence.]
And as a general proposition Jackson was right. Free societies do have not only a right but an obligation to defend themselves. As individuals we are free to emulate Voltaire's willingness "to give my life to make it possible" for someone whose views we detest to continue to express them. But we do not have the right to impose such self-abnegation on our fellow citizens.
Jackson's fellow justices needed no reminder of where Jew-baiting could lead. Yet by a 5-4 majority the court overturned Terminiello's conviction, and though I think they were right to do so, the thinness of the margin also seems appropriate. This is not a question where certainty is warranted on either side.
In Britain and the United States we regard Free Speech as sacred. Americans venerate the First Amendment, while Britons cite Milton, who in Areopagitica said true Liberty only exists "when free born men / Having to advise the public may speak free". Holocaust denial is currently a crime in Austria, France, Germany, Israel, Belgium, Poland, Lithuania and Switzerland. Do the citizens of those countries value freedom less than we do? Or might other factors be involved?
Robert Kahn, author of Holocaust Denial and the Law, points to a "fault time" separating the "common law countries" of the US, Britain, and former British colonies from the "civil law countries of continental Europe". In civil law countries the law is generally more prescriptive. Also under the civil law regime the judge acts more as an inquisitor, gathering and presenting evidence as well as interpreting it.
Unlike the Anglo-American adversarial system, where fairness is the primary attribute of justice, and the judge functions as a referee, trials under the continental system aim at arriving at the truth.
This divergence has a number of consequences.
One of them was on view when David Irving, a British author, sued Deborah Lipsadt, an American academic. Irving claimed that since the Holocaust never happened, it was libellous to call him a Holocaust denier. As the claimant under British law Irving was able to force Lipstadt to prove him wrong by in effect proving the historical actuality of the Holocaust. This put an enormous additional burden on Mr Justice Charles Gray, who in presiding over the trial had to constantly attend to the claims of truth as well as justice.
Continental judges also have much greater latitude in taking "judicial notice" - ie in declaring that certain facts are well-established and need not be proven anew. The result is a system where, by habit if not by aptitude, the courts are more comfortable in simply pronouncing on questions of historical fact.
Ultimately, though, it is the difference in historical experience that ought to constrain our attitude to other countries. In Germany and Austria Holocaust denial is not "mere" Jew-baiting but also a channel for Nazi resurgence much like the Hitler salute and the display of the swastika, which are also banned.
The case for a ban in Israel should also be obvious, if not beyond argument. Similarly, countries where the experience of occupation and the shame of collaboration still rankle ought to be able to make their own decisions. Blasphemy is still illegal in this country, and though Americans are theoretically free to do all sorts of things no American these days can afford to be smug about anyone else's liberty. Nor, after Bosnia and Rwanda, can we pretend that free speech is an absolute value. Sticks and stones may break bones, but name-calling can clear a path for genocide.
Where should we set the balance in Britain? My own view is that the existing laws against incitement to racial hatred are sufficient. Making a special case for Holocaust denial might be justified if British Jews were in jeopardy, or if there were a fascist movement in this country, fueled by Holocaust denial, which posed a genuine threat to democracy. Happily we are far from such dangers, and if we take the Prime Minister at his word and retain our sense of proportion we ought to recognise that we have far more to lose from even such a tiny erosion of our liberties.
In 1949 the radical journalist I F Stone described himself as "exactly what Terminiello in his harangues meant by an 'atheistic, communistic, zionistic Jew'. I would not demean myself or my people by denying him the right to say it." Stone's denunciation of judges "who would have permitted some measure of suppression in my protection" as "not men whose championship I would care to have" could have been written of any number of recent Home Secretaries .
In rejecting Justice Jackson's analogy between Weimar Germany and post-war America Stone proved a better historian as well as a more robust libertarian. As an American Jew resident in twenty-first century Britain it seems to me that free speech is still worth the risk.

Stalin's resurgence in Russia

TWO EVENTS last week starkly illustrate the dilemmas of countries grappling with a terrible past. In Austria, Holocaust denier David Irving received a three-year jail sentence for his public assertions that the Nazis did not carry out a systematic extermination of the Jews during World War II. Meanwhile, in Russia, as the country marked the 50th anniversary of its official turn away from Stalinism under Khrushchev, many people regard the late dictator's legacy as mostly positive -- and a new museum celebrating that legacy is about to open.
Irving's sentence reflects Europe's hard-line approach to its Nazi past. Laws prohibiting Holocaust denial and pro-Nazi propaganda are stringent in Germany and Austria, the countries most directly implicated in Nazi crimes against humanity; but they exist in many other countries on the European continent as well. Such laws are troubling to most Americans.
To some, the issue is not clear-cut. Rabbi Abraham Cooper, associate dean of the Simon Wiesenthal Center, said that ''while Irving's rants would not have led to legal action in the United States, it is important that we recognize and respect Austria's commitment to fighting Holocaust denial . . . as part of its historic responsibility to its Nazi past."
While I have no sympathy for Irving (who, faced with jail, tried to weasel out of his position with the ludicrous claim that new evidence has led him to believe people were slaughtered at Auschwitz after all),
I still think that the law used against him is a bad idea. The state of Austria can own up to its responsibility to its past without criminalizing even the worst of speech. In the United States, even without legal sanctions, Holocaust denial is effectively marginalized by public opinion.
Meanwhile, the criminalization of Holocaust denial may perversely strengthen the hand of the deniers, leading some to argue that the defenders of Holocaust history must have little confidence in their facts if they feel they must silence challengers. Historian Deborah Lipstadt is concerned that the jail sentence could give Irving publicity and martyrdom instead of the obscurity he deserves.
On to Russia, where from the early 1930s and until his death in 1953 Stalin slaughtered his own people on a Holocaust-like scale. It is estimated that at least 20 million died. The extermination was not as systematically deliberate as the Nazis', but the victims, in the end, were just as dead.
Fifty years ago at a secret Communist Party meeting, Stalin's successor, Nikita Khrushchev, gave a speech denouncing Stalin's ''personality cult" and the repressions under his rule. This speech began the process of the de-Stalinization of the Soviet Union: most political prisoners were released, and many of the dead posthumously exonerated. Yet neither the Soviet Union nor, in later years, post-Soviet Russia fully repudiated Stalin, or fully came to term with his crimes. In recent years, Russian president Vladimir Putin has been advocating a more positive view of the country's Soviet past. Cities have erected monuments to Stalin.
The British paper The Independent said a Stalin museum is scheduled to open in March in Volgograd, formerly known as Stalingrad.
Polls show that 30 to 40 percent of Russians now regard Stalin's role in history as mostly ''positive," crediting him with turning the Soviet Union into a superpower and defeating Hitler.
Compared with this amnesia about state crimes against humanity, the German experience is certainly a good model -- whatever one thinks of Germany's Holocaust denial laws. Sadly, amnesia about the crimes of communism is common in the West as well; historians who have downplayed and minimized those crimes, such as Miami University of Ohio historian Robert W. Thurston, have not been ostracized the way David Irving has been for a long time.
The resurgence of the Stalin cult in Russia shows the danger of such amnesia. Holocaust denial and Gulag denial should be finally seen as the twin evils they are.

'Yaakov Markus was born in Berlin on 22 November 1927 to a non-Jewish mother
named Mathilde Markus and to a Jewish father. He came to Israel and in the
fifties was drafted to serve in the 1956 Sinai campaign. He was killed there and
buried provisionally at the Shelah Military Cemetery. Later this cemetery was
abolished and the dead were transferred to other permanent graves. Yaakov

banks of the Jordan, advocated a religious state and tried to modernize
religion for that purpose - was not in the country. The bereaved parents appealed
directly to the Prime Minister, David Ben Gurion, who had to make a special
ruling for them. Markus was finally buried in the same row as his fallen friends.
But so that 'his bones should not be mingled with theirs', as Meshulam
Schlesinger, Director of the Military Cemetery, put it, his grave was set somewhat
apart.
'Meshulam Schlesinger officially stated that the corpse of Yaakov Markus had
been circumcised after his death, to allow it to lie beside the Jewish
fighters. This was later denied no less officially by the Ministry of Defense. But
the grisly and macabre atmosphere surrounding the case has done much to deepen
public concern.'

"The Earth is Flat," says Thomas L. Friedman.
Every time we check, Friedman's book is way ahead of our Empire of Debt in
the rankings. We see people reading it numbly on airplanes. We see it
stacked up like waffles at the entrance of B. Dalton's and Barnes and
Noble (we have to rummage around to find our book!). And what earnest
business executive has failed to read at least enough of it so he can talk
about "globalization" unintelligently?
We have been following Friedman's work in the press now for several years.
It is so appallingly empty-headed that for a long time we couldn't bring
ourselves to buy his book; we were afraid we'd feel obliged to read it.
Well, last week, we found it on sale at a 15% discount, and picked up a
copy. As expected, the book is only suitable for children...and only for
them to sit on or club each other over the head with.
But what do we know?
Friedman claims to have made a discovery equal and opposite to that of
Christopher Columbus. While Columbus found that the Earth was round,
Friedman notices that it is now flattened out. Thanks to modern technology
and the spread of robust American-style capitalism (to say nothing of the
protection racket run by the empire's military forces), we all play on the
same level field of global commerce. We also wear the same clothes
(business suits for adults, Che T-shirts for the young), talk the same
language (English), share the same political ideology (humbug democracy),
and worship the same God (mammon).
We are all one. One people. One world. With one idea: to get rich. And in
this new flat Earth, we can all get rich, too. Now, the entire world can
compete, share technology, share information, and share opportunities. It
is as if the world had been flattened into a kind of United States of
Earth, where people in Mississippi can live as well as those in New
Hampshire - competing for the same jobs, trading, cooperating, schlepping
their way toward a New World Order that is better for everyone.
Globalization takes the wrinkles and creases out of the planet. You can
now eat the same Chinese food in Newport News as in New Delhi. You can buy
the same clothes in Toronto as in Quangzshou. You can live in the same
apartment, designed by the same architect, and built of the same materials
in Buenos Aires as in Belfast. And of course, you can watch CNN
everywhere.
The only thing threatening this brave, new ironed-out world, according to
Friedman, is that some people don't want to go along with it:
backward-looking losers who think religion is more important than material
progress, insurgents who defy the imperial authority and protectionists
who want to push a stick into the wheels of history.
If those were the only threats, Friedman may have a decent point, but
Friedman is like a geologist who has his head stuck in the clouds: Rain,
wind, sun, storm...all of it seems to wash down and wear down the surface
of the Earth, he notices astutely. Ah ha, he concludes, the mountains will
keep on eroding. Pretty soon, the whole world will be as flat as Kansas.
Of course, if he had any imagination, curiosity or even remembered to look
down at the ground under his feet, he would have wondered how it was
possible that after so many millions of years of leveling, the Earth was
not flat already. And if he had bothered to look beneath the surface, he
would see why: there are new volcanoes bubbling up all the time, new
mountain ranges welling up, and eruptions waiting to explode.
Geologist Stephen Roach sees his seismograph twitching:
"First in manufacturing, now in services, the global labor arbitrage has
been unrelenting in pushing U.S. pay rates down to international norms.
But the real wage compression in the United States has not been uniform
across the income spectrum. In large part, that has occurred because
increasingly broad segments of the American labor market are now exposed
to a uniquely powerful competitive force - the IT-enabled arbitrage.
Courtesy of the hyper-speed of sharply accelerating Internet penetration,
the global labor arbitrage has pushed into areas that historically have
been unaccustomed to wage competition. In earlier research I found that
the disconnect between compensation and productivity growth during the
current economic expansion has been much greater in services than in
manufacturing. This once nontradable segment of the U.S. economy is now
feeling the increasingly powerful forces of the global labor arbitrage for
the first time ever (see my 8 July 2005 dispatch, 'Back to the Drawing
Board').
"The Internet has forever changed the competitive climate for most
white-collar knowledge workers. Courtesy of near-ubiquitous connectivity,
the output of the knowledge worker can now be e-mailed to a desktop from
anywhere in the world. That brings low-cost, well-trained, highly educated
workers in Bangalore, Shanghai, and Eastern and Central Europe into the
global knowledge-worker pool. That's now true of software programmers,
engineers, designers, as well as a broad array of professionals toiling in
legal, accounting, medical, actuarial, consulting, and financial-analyst
positions. Within this global pool of like-quality workers, a powerful
arbitrage acts to narrow wage disparities. As a result, real wage
compression in open economies like the United States has moved rapidly up
the value chain - sparing an increasingly small portion of those at the
very top of the occupational hierarchy. In short, the IT-enabled global
labor arbitrage is a guaranteed recipe for mounting income inequality."
Income inequality has been growing in the United States for the last 35
years, says Roach. We have explained why many times. Per capital income is
$1,700 in China. It is $38,000 in America. As the Chinese (and others)
compete with American workers, the low end of the wage scale in the United
States is held down. Since the wage difference is so great, this process
has a long way to go. While he goes deeper and deeper into debt, the
average American employee may not enjoy any real income growth for the
next two decades.
The rich, on the other hand, continue to make rapid financial progress.
They are the ones who own the companies that benefit from lower wages and
globalized markets.
Economists measure wage equality with way they call a Gini Index. At zero,
people all earn the same thing. At 100, the rich get all the income.
Currently, in Japan the Gini Index is 25. In Europe, it is 32. In America,
the index is at 40, and in China, it is at 45.
In America, low-level earners can't get ahead because they have no
bargaining power. They are competing with a billion workers in Asia
willing to do the same work for less than one-tenth the cost. And in
China, there is also growing income inequality between those who have
joined the global economy and those who have not. Some 500 million people
live in coastal cities in China and participate in modern commerce, but
there are another 700 million who still live in the countryside. While the
cities grow richer, the poor in China are left behind, like America's
industrial workers.
In short, the world is not getting flatter at all. It is getting flatter
in some areas, and steeper in others. There is less difference between
China's industrial workers and those in America, but the difference
between the globalized wage slave and the capitalists who employ them is
growing.
Beneath the surface of Friedman's flat Earth, the pressure is growing
-either in China or in America and sooner or later, it is bound to
explode.

What emergency? why the desperate emergency to stop the evil Muslims from taking over the world of course! And how many sheeple now passively support of the Bush administration's Zionist agenda for a widening war in the Middle East? Of course one of the main purposes of the trade tower event itself was as a propaganda ploy designed specifically for that purpose and the 9/11 hot button term is the icing on the jew propagandist's cake. 9/11 has exactly the same type effect on the sheeple that other jew assigned, hot buttons like Nazi, racist, bigot invoke. Figure it this way, it was the jew's media that initially assigned the term 911 to the event, that fact alone should be enough reason not to use such references. Personally, I use the terms like "trade tower" or "9/11/01" for my reference as these minor alterations effectively diffuse the hot button aspect and allay the psychological conditioning inherent in such terminology. In fact I have taken a lesson from the jews on this matter - it takes very little alteration of words to dramatically change their meaning.
And now the thought for the day. It is widely known that the Chinese carted off the trade tower rubble. Now think about this for a moment, what might you have done with the trade tower rubble had you been in charge of the reclamation project and allowed to haul the wreckage away to a remote location? Let us consider for a moment the political ramifications of someone who possess a third party, forensic examination of the rubble; what political leverage might be obtained form such report? Whatever is said about the Chinese, I have heard few references to Chinese stupidity and while such comments are typical of Africans, they are virtually nonexistent when referring to the Chinese. So let us say the Chinese haul the trade tower rubble back to China and conduct their own examination for the cause for 9/11/01, what political leverage might they expect from their examination? More to the point, knowing this is the case why wouldn't the Chinese conduct their own examination of the rubble? Just a thought.
Say, whatever happened to those Congressional threats of high tariffs on Chinese goods for not raising the value of the Yuan against the dollar?

Accused drug-dealer Ze'ev Rosenstein was extradited to the United States this
morning - in apparent violation of Jewish Law - and will land in Miami this
evening. He faces 20 years in prison.
He will be brought before a grand jury in a Federal court in Miami tomorrow
for the extension of his custody. His trial on drug-dealing charges is
scheduled to begin in July, and is expected to last only two weeks.
Rosenstein has been indicted in the Florida court for allegedly dealing some
700,000 ecstasy tablets. He is expected to be sentenced to 20 years in prison;
his partner in the drug deals, Shem-Tov Machtabi, received that sentence in
the U.S. in 2004.
The decision to extradite Rosenstein to the U.S. was made in November 2004.
The U.S. Department of Justice announced at the time that his arrest "marks
the culmination of a lengthy collaborative effort by the U.S. Department of
Justice and Israeli Ministry of Justice prosecutors and investigators from the
Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Israeli National Police." The U.S. interest
in the case, as expressed by the DEA Administrator, was that Rosenstein "is a
drug trafficker who poured hundreds of thousands of deadly Ecstasy pills into
America's neighborhoods. DEA and our Israeli partners banded together like
never before to make the children of our nations safer."
A leader of organized crime in Israel, Rosenstein was targeted by a bombing in
Tel Aviv two years ago; three innocent bystanders were killed instead. He
survived a number of other attempts on his life as well. He is assumed to have
ordered the murder of some of his underworld gambling competitors.
The extradition request was approved over the past several months, as required
by law, by an Israeli court and the Justice Minister. According to the
extradition agreement with the U.S., Rosenstein will serve his prison sentence
in Israel.
Jewish law [Halakhah] on the matter of extraditing a Jew to a foreign country
is not clear-cut, but a discussion of the matter in Vol. 8 of the scholarly
Halakhic annual publication Techumin [in English: Crossroads: Vol. III,
Published by Zomet Institute (Alon Shvut-Gush Etzion, Israel)] leaned towards
the more stringent conclusion.
Though former Supreme Court Deputy President Menachem Elon, an ordained rabbi,
reached the conclusion that it is permissible under many circumstances, Rabbis
Sha'ul Yisrael and Yehuda David Bleich disagreed. Rabbi Yisraeli wrote that it
is prohibited Biblically to hand over a Jew to non-Jewish courts, and that it
is not dependent on time, place, or attitude toward the Jews in the country in
question.
Arutz-7 asked Rabbi Yaakov Ariel, Chief Rabbi of Ramat Gan, about this issue.
Rabbi Ariel said,
"It is essentially forbidden, but does the State of Israel ask anyone [of
rabbinic stature]? So what can we do? - There are elections coming up; change
the government!"
Asked if Israel, as a member of the world community in which criminals are
routinely extradited as part of the world effort to maintain law and order,
might endanger itself by not taking part in this arrangement, Rabbi Ariel
said, "There are situations in which extradition could be permitted, such as
when there are specific agreements between countries. But even then, the
punishment to be meted out in the foreign country must not be more severe than
that which would be handed down according to Halakhah. In this case [regarding
Rosenstein], I don't know the exact details, but certainly drug-dealing would
be considered a very grave crime.
"In addition, however, the extradition agreement must be made contingent upon
appropriate guidelines for accepting testimony and the like." Rabbi Ariel
explained that if the foreign court's guidelines do not follow Torah law, then
they must at least be in accordance with the Noahide laws.
A-7: "As someone who has come out in favor of door-to-door activity for the
coming elections to 'democratically influence [and] prevent catastrophes for
the Nation, People and Torah,' would you call on [religious parties] to
champion this issue of extradition?"
Rabbi Ariel: "There are so many issues! Sabbath, modesty, slander, and so much
more - is the issue of extradition the most important one? ... A party that
champions the Land of Israel, however, means that it wants Adamah [Land] that
sprouts the true Adam [man] - a Jew and a Jewish nation that is perfect in all
respects of Torah life - including all the laws that I mentioned above."

Alleged underworld kingpin Rosenstein makes tax deal

Ze'ev Rosenstein, considered by police to be Israel's underworld kingpin, has reached an agreement with the income tax authorities. The tax authorities are keeping details under wraps because of the sensitivity of his business contacts. There have been several attempts on his life in the past few years.
Rosenstein is believed to have declared an annual income of $10 million and to have paid $2 million in taxes.
Rosenstein, 50, has in the past been arrested on suspicion of underworld activities and was jailed for several short periods. He is believed to own a number of casinos abroad, especially in the Czech Republic and Romania. Last week, police revealed that a group of assassins had arrived in Israel from Belarus, and Rosenstein was mentioned as one of their possible underworld targets.
Rosenstein is also believed to have a number of legitimate business interests and partnerships in Israel for which he pays income tax above board. In the wake of the tax reforms of 2003, however, he is obliged to declare his assets abroad and to pay tax for them in Israel. His capital and assets, including those in the gray market, are not fully known.
Presumably Rosenstein gave the tax authorities only minimal information about his business dealings for fear the police would get hold of the information, even though the tax commissioner is obliged to keep the information confidential. Nevertheless, this is the first time that Rosenstein has reached a comprehensive agreement with the tax authorities beyond his annual tax returns. This may be the start of a process of personal taxation that enables Israelis to declare their assets abroad, to transfer them to Israel and to pay a reduced tax.
Rosenstein lives in a single-family house in Hod Hasharon and is currently building a new one, next to the home of the town's mayor. He imported a bullet-proof car from abroad at a cost of more than one million shekels.

I'm shocked and dismayed at your firing of Mr. Regan for having attended the American Renaissance Conference.
While this might be a little surprising to you--living in a world of neo-fascism where you get to dictate what everyone can and cannot do outside of their public jobs--you are in clear violation of his First Amendment rights.
I should hope that he is successful in suing your backwards-hillbilly operation that you've got going, where you think that you can suppress people's rights to Free Speech for what they do in their own free time.
Indeed, I hope he also sues you for engaging in discriminatory measures as well, as we can be certain that you wouldn't fire someone from the ADL (which has engaged in numerous illegal activities in which they've even lost a million-dollar verdict for infringing on people's rights) or from the Nation of Islam, for simply attending one of their conferences on their own time.
I should hope that you make him a millionaire, and yourself an object of public ridicule and scorn when he wins.
Also, as I'm sure that you're aware, he can (and hopefull will) sue you as an individual rather than the state itself since you're engaging in gross negligence of duty that far exceeds what is allowed in the capacities of your position.
