the streets of London are buzzing with automobiles. From what we read,
there are more automobiles on the road than ever before. Far from going
out of business, automobile manufacturers are plunking out more
automobiles than ever before. Demand for them is rising steeply, as Asians
begin to be able to afford them.
But wait, maybe making autos is such a low-wage business that it cannot be
done in North America. Well, if that were so, how come it is being done in
Germany and Japan - two very high wage countries? And even if much of the
production had to be outsourced to lower-cost areas, how come it was not
American entrepreneurs who figured out how to do it? In other words, how
come GM and Ford stocks are falling? And how come U.S. real wages are flat
or falling?
When the buggy companies were replaced by the auto companies, wages
soared. When New England's whale oil companies were replaced by the
Pennsylvania and Texan crude oil companies, again, wages soared. When the
workshop was replaced by the assembly line...when the teamsters switched
from whipping their horses to double-clutching their engines...when the
horse-drawn scythe was replaced by the tractor-drawn combine - each real
innovation brought soaring wages.
Globalization also brings soaring wages - to India and China, where real
wages have doubled in the last 10 years. In America, this new innovation
brings lower wages.

Jewish plot to kill Bevin in London

JEWISH terrorists plotted to assassinate Ernest Bevin, the foreign secretary,
in 1946, as part of their campaign to establish the state of Israel, newly
declassified intelligence files have shown. The plan was devised by Irgun, the
insurgent group led by Menachem Begin, who went on to become a Nobel peace
prize winner and prime minister of Israel.
Begin, whom MI6 believed was backed by the Soviet Union, planned to send five
terrorist cells to Britain to carry out bombings and assassinations that
would "beat the dog in his own kennel".
The Jewish insurgents aimed to force British occupying forces out of
Palestine, enabling the founding of the Jewish state. Details of the plot are included
in MI5 files released at the National Archives in Kew, London.
Lord Bethell, author of The Palestine Triangle and an expert on Soviet
intelligence, said Bevin was detested by Zionist groups. He added, however:
"Zionists would be very angry if you compared these people with terrorists now. You
have to remember that Irgun were the grandfathers of today's ruling politicians.
"They would say they were at war with the British and behaved well, fighting
under Marquess of Queensberry rules. They would say that they didn't target
civilians."
Before the establishment of Israel in 1948, Britain governed the whole of
Palestine under a mandate from the United Nations. Agitation among the Jewish
population for a separate state escalated immediately after the second world war
as refugees flooded in from Europe.
It reached its most intense point in July 1946, when the British headquarters
at the King David hotel in Jerusalem was bombed by Jewish fighters dressed as
Arabs with explosives contained in milk churns. Ninety-one people, 28 of them
British, were killed.
The MI5 files contain a report suggesting that Irgun carried out the attack
after drawing lots with two other militant groups, Stern and Hagana. Stern drew
the lot to attack British ships in the Mediterranean while Hagana were chosen
to attack army camps.
In August 1946, the month after the King David attack, Major James Robertson,
head of MI5's Middle East section, warned London that both Begin's group and
Stern were sending five terrorist cells to the capital to mirror IRA tactics
of bombing and assassination.
Roberston added: "In recent months it has been reported that they have been
training selected members for the purpose of assassinating a prominent British
personality. Special reference has been several times made to Mr Bevin."
Bevin, the Labour foreign secretary, was an opponent of the creation of a
Jewish state and had recommended that Jewish refugees in Europe should be
forcibly prevented from emigrating to Palestine.
The planned terrorist campaign ended up being restricted largely to letter
bombs. In 1947, 20 were sent to leading figures in Britain including Bevin and
Anthony Eden, his Tory predecessor.
After the establishment of Israel, Begin, who died in 1992, dissolved Irgun
and turned to politics. He became prime minister in the 1970s and was awarded
the Nobel prize in 1978 jointly with Anwar Sadat, the president of Egypt, for
signing the Camp David peace accords.

While reading over the various postings about 9/11/01 I came across a bit of confusion that I would like to clarify for those who may be a bit confused in their references to this matter.

These recruits were trained in the fundamentals of flight and given a few flying hours to familiarize them with the aircraft. It was hoped that these extremely low time pilots would be able to maintain a reasonable straight flight path into the their targets, but the fact was the aircraft were heavily loaded and difficult to fly even for experienced pilots. Likewise the kamikaze aircraft were originally worn out, front line, combat aircraft, but as the war progressed the Japanese attempted to employ special purpose-built aircraft for the kamikaze mission. These aircraft were relatively cheap to construct as they were much simpler machines without any of the complex systems found in the standard military aircraft of the day.
In the final analysis it was found that the heavily loaded aircraft were difficult to control. Even experienced pilots found it challenging to maintain straight and level flight with these aircraft and it was virtually impossible to fly any type of evasive maneuvers. Straight and level flight into the barrage of anti-aircraft fire put up by the ships meant that very few of the Kamikazes actually made it to their target. It is a tribute to the Kamikazes that their attacks were highly effective at decimating the morale of the American crews aboard the ships. My father was aboard one of these ships and he reported that the crews felt they were themselves on a suicide mission due to the effectiveness of the kamikaze attacks and this did not sit well with the American mentality.
Perhaps the most interesting weapon platform employed by the kamikaze operations groups was the "Okha" or Cherry Blossom, a rocket powered aircraft that was slung under a Mitsubishi "Betty" bomber. With its high speed and low extremely low aspect ratio wings, the Okha was defiantly a handful to fly. All the propaganda about the kamikaze pilots being "welded" shut in their cockpit and doped up on drugs is pure BS. Just prior to takeoff the kamikazes did have a solemn ceremony were they consumed a shot of sake, but it is doubtful it had much effect given the highly charged emotional state of the kamikaze; after all they were the last hope to save the empire.
(2) Like all Japanese soldiers, pilots adhered to the code of Bushido a strict military code that expected all soldiers to sacrifice their life in battle. This was not a religious code of fanaticism but a military code and like any military code the men serving in the military were expected to follow the code just as any American soldier would be expected to adhere to the UCMJ.
(3) The Japanese firmly (but mistakenly) believed that capitulation would result in the utter destruction of Japan and its culture. Given the typical historical outcome of Asiatic military conquest, this would certainly be a believable outcome for the average Japanese soldier. Although there is much talk American propaganda about the glory of the Japanese soldier in dying for the emperor the actual soldier believed he was saving mom, rice cakes and the Hinomaru from certain destruction. This is a far cry form alleged religious fanatics making some vague, undefined, political statement. All this points to the fact that the Japanese kamikazes motivation and background have virtually nothing in common with a supposed bunch of Arab fanatics who commandeer a civilian aircraft to make a suicidal political statement. There is no valid reason for any comparisons simply because both of these disparate parties willingly sacrificed their lives in the course of their actions. Of course this might be the case only if one believes that their were in fact suicidal Muslim fanatics that were in control of the aircraft that struck the trade towers.
(4) The Germans did in fact attempt to implement a suicide program known as the "Reichenberg" program at the very end of the war. The Reichenberg program was to employ a manned version of the Fi-103 or FZG 76, commonly known as the V-1 as its suicide weapons platform. However various sources have noted that the program was dropped due to the fact that suicide was not a widely acceptable alternative to the Aryan mind. The famed woman pilot Hanna Reitsch did fly an early manned version of the V-1 in an attempt to discover why the unmanned missiles were crashing just after takeoff, but her test flights had nothing to do with the Reichenberg program. Here is a quote form another source on this program:
In late 1943, the Germans had experimented with "manned missiles", in which pilots would point their aircraft at a ground target and bail out. Experiments along this line were performed with Focke-Wulf FW-190 and pulsejet-powered Messerschmitt Me-328 fighters, but proved unsuccessful. In May 1944, SS Hauptsturmfuehrer Otto Skorzeny, German's brilliant and ruthless commando leader, proposed using the V-1 for this job. Within two weeks, prototypes of variants of the manned weapon, known as "Reichenberg", were built, with designations "R-I" through "R-IV".
The R-I and R-II were glider trainers and lacked engines. The R-I was a single-seat trainer, while the R-II was a two-seat trainer with dual cockpits. The R-III was a two-seat powered trainer, while the R-IV was the operational weapon. About 175 R-IVs were built, and a group of volunteers was organized to fly them. The piloted flying bombs were to be launched by bombers of "KG-200", the Luftwaffe special operations unit.
In principle, the pilot was to aim the Reichenberg at a target and then bail out. In practice, the weapon lacked an ejection seat, and though provisions were made for escape, getting out of such an aircraft safely as it dived at high speed towards a target was problematic. The volunteer pilots who were to fly the bombs were known as "Selbstopfermaenner (Suicide Men)".
Unsurprisingly, many German officers did not like the scheme. In October 1944, a new commander named Werner Baumbach was appointed to KG-200, and he preferred Mistel to Reichenberg. The Germans had little enthusiasm for kamikaze missions.
A far more bizarre program (and almost as suicidal as the Reichenberg program) was the German's "Mistle" program. The Mistle was a unmanned bomber loaded with explosives that had a fighter aircraft mounted on its back. When approaching the target, the pilot of the fighter would release his aircraft from the bomber's mounting structure and then guide the bomber to its target using remote control. Almost unbelievably this program did in fact enjoy a fair amount of success. So the Germans were guiding remote control aircraft into targets under much harsher wartime conditions during WWII. Is it unbelievable that a Boeing 757 could be guided by remote control into the trade towers? It has in fact been reported that American civilian aircraft do in fact have a remote control system built into their flight controls that allows a ground operator to override the pilot's controls and assume full control of the aircraft. Ironically the "home run" system was intended to thwart high jacking attempts. What better source than Mr. Joe Vialls to describe this system?

(5) In almost every war there are recorded incidents of military men from all nations committing themselves to suicidal acts. There were verified reports of American servicemen purposely diving into ships and colliding with other aircraft in both World Wars. There were pilots who drove home their attacks at Midway with all their munitions expended in an attempt to draw the fire of the Japanese gunners from those aircraft still armed. There were reports of Germans who in the heat of battle intentionally rammed Russian aircraft, but these were isolated incidents and not attributable to any true military effort. The Russians did try to pioneer a very short lived effort at using ramming tactics, however these were not intended to be suicide attacks, but attacks made with aircraft equipped with special propellers intended to saw the control surfaces off the German bombers. There were however few Russian pilots up to the task and the effort was soon shelved in favor of more conventional attacks using machine guns.
(6) Perhaps the best comment on this subject was recorded by a poster who commented: "The invisible Arabs were allegedly 'trained' in Cessna puddle jumpers and NOT ONE OF THEM COULD FLY ONE!" The poster is quite correct in his claim as the instructor pilot who had given one of the alleged terrorists flight training said that Mohammad Atta (or more likely someone posing as Atta) could not properly discern between the runway and an adjoining freeway. Due to Atta's inability to properly control a Cessna 172, the flight training operation denied him the rental of the aircraft for solo flight. Yet this was supposedly the terrorist who performed an extremely difficult 270 degree flight maneuver with a Boeing 757. Newspapers papers initially quoted military pilots as saying that even a trained military pilot would have been hard pressed to perform such a maneuver with that large an aircraft.

Israel's security closure of Gaza's main cargo crossing has hit the coastal strip hard: milk and cheese have virtually disappeared, fruit is hard to find, and flour is runnin g out.
The shortages could get worse for the 1.3 million residents of Gaza once Hamas formally takes power, with Israel threatening to seal its borders with Gaza altogether once the Islamic militants form a government.
"The world should look at this and find us a solution," said Mustafa Shurab of the Palestinian Mill Co. "Collective punishment is a small word to describe this war."
Shurab said his company supplies about 60 percent of Gaza's flour. But with the Karni cargo crossing closed, his reserves are running out. He said the mill halted work three days ago, and if the crossing isn't reopened, Gaza will run out of bread this week.
Karni is critical for the Palestinian economy. It is the only conduit for Palestinian exports to Israel and overseas markets, and provides the main gate way for goods entering Gaza.
There are no overt signs of hunger in Gaza. But with the area reliant on Israel for dairy products, some fruits and other supplies, the on-and-off closure of Karni for nearly two months has become increasingly painful.
"People are coming and asking for cheese, for milk, and my answer is, 'Sorry, there is nothing left,'" said Hussam Aboud, a grocer in Gaza City, pointing to an empty refrigerator.
Sami Abu Daoud said he went to nine supermarkets Tuesday in a futile search for low-fat milk. The price of regular milk for his children has doubled, he said.
"You can't find an apple in the Gaza Strip," Daoud said. "I don't know why they are doing this. For political reasons? Security reasons? For what?"
Israeli officials say the closure is strictly because of security concerns.

George Orwell remains a valuable writer, though he died in 1950. He was
a man who was an active participant in his times, and since the new
century appears to be going down the same road as the last one, we can
still learn from him.
His essay "Politics and the English Language" ought to be read by every
journalist and by everyone who reads journalists or listens to the
babble on television.
"The great enemy of clear language is insincerity," he wrote. "When
there is a gap between one's real and one's declared aims, one turns as
it were instinctively to long words and exhausted idioms, like a
cuttlefish squirting out ink.
"In our age, there is no such thing as 'keeping out of politics.' All
issues are political issues, and politics itself is a mass of lies,
evasions, folly, hatred and schizophrenia," Orwell wrote. Earlier in
the essay he had said, "In our time, political speech and writing are
largely the defense of the indefensible."
Our time and his time remain the same. We invade a sovereign nation
based on lies, destroy its infrastructure, depose its government and
kill 30,000 of its people, and we call that "spreading democracy" or
"defending freedom."
The phrase "war on terror" is a phony metaphor. We are not at war.
Ninety-nine and 99/100ths percent of the American people are living the
same way they've always lived. We have troops in Afghanistan and Iraq
fighting an insurrection that our invasions of those countries caused.
They are at war a war of their own country's making but the rest of
us are not. Waving a flag or putting a bumper sticker on one's car
cannot be called a war effort.
The "war" is being relegated to the inside pages, and it's a safe bet
that no matter what happens in Baghdad, the Academy Awards will receive
more coverage and notice than the war. In our nutty society, the choice
of a comedian to emcee a Hollywood trade show is considered big,
national news.
What distinguishes us from other animals is language, and when we use
language not to communicate truth as best we can determine it, but to
deceive, mislead, obfuscate and obscure the facts, then we are
committing the ultimate sin against humanity. We are playing a
dangerous game with our own sanity.
Our own journalists sanitize even their skimpy coverage of the war. The
American people must not be allowed to see the real face of war, lest
they withdraw their support. The real face of war, of course, is broken
bodies, blood, splattered brains and innards, horrible burns and other
mutilations. There are no pleasant aspects of war. So, Americans are
allowed to see soldiers giving candy to children, and occasionally an
explosion on the horizon or the wreckage after the bodies have been
removed.
In the meantime, the president and his folks blather on in carefully
chosen euphemisms and newspeak just as if they were characters in an
Orwell novel. At least the American people are at last beginning to
catch on, and Bush's approval rating is 34 percent and his vice
president's rating is 18 percent. That speaks well of the American
people. They do trust their politicians, though that trust is often
abused, but eventually they begin to check actions against words, facts
against claims. Once they realized they've been bamboozled, then all
the fancy words and euphemisms in the world won't restore their trust.
Bush has been in trouble in Iraq and Europe and Asia, and now he
appears to be in trouble at home. He has three more years, so it would
be a great help if this year one or both of the houses of Congress
shifted to Democratic control. That would restore the checks and
balances so necessary to preserve liberty, not that Democrats are any
prize. That doesn't matter. The genius of our Founding Fathers is that
they realized that as long as government fights itself, the liberty of
the people is safe.

Is this crop of white stars a fluke or a trend?

You cannot argue with Jerry Bruckheimer's timing. Releasing "Glory Road" on the 40th anniversary of Texas Western's championship season added to the movie's tremendous box-office appeal and helped teach a valuable history lesson to young America.
But here's the ironic context for the film that celebrates the first all-black starting five to win a college basketball national championship: The year of "Glory Road" on the screen has coincided with a season in which the two best college players in the nation happen to be white.
In a startling spasm of inverse desegregation, this season has been dominated by Duke's J.J. Redick and Gonzaga's Adam Morrison. They don't come from overseas (such as last year's player of the year, Andrew Bogut) or north of the border (reigning NBA MVP Steve Nash). The two high-scoring upperclassmen are neck-and-neck for the national scoring title, they're the only realistic contenders for national player of the year honors, and their bicoastal competition has captured the country's imagination.
This occurs at a time when today's college kids seem encouragingly unburdened by The Race Thing. There appears to be less obsessing over race, less distrust between races in today's youth, more melding of black and white music and dress and vernacular. That's societal progress.
Still, anyone who says they haven't noticed that Redick and Morrison are white hasn't been paying attention. And anyone who shrugs it off as nothing unusual hasn't checked the history books.
Last time two white guys stood atop college hoops? Try 1970, and even that's debatable. LSU's Pete Maravich won the player of the year awards, but you could have a healthy debate about who was second-best: white players Dan Issel of Kentucky and Rick Mount of Purdue, or black players Bob Lanier of St. Bonaventure and Calvin Murphy of Niagara. Prior to that, you have to go back to the early 1960s -- before Lew Alcindor and after Oscar Robertson -- to find a white tandem comparable to Redick and Morrison.
"I was with an NBA scout at the Maryland-Duke game and we started our NBA talk with two guys: Redick and Morrison," said Washington Post columnist and "PTI" co-host Michael Wilbon, one of America's most astute commentators on race and sports. "When is the last time two white kids led the NBA draft conversation? And the scout is black."
And this is not just a two-man production. Meet the supporting cast:
• There is a chance that the first-team consensus All-America team will be a majority-white affair for the first time in 36 years. Those who could join Redick and Morrison include North Carolina's Tyler Hansbrough, West Virginia's Mike Gansey and Kevin Pittsnogle, Michigan State's Paul Davis and possibly Nevada's Nick Fazekas.
• Hansbrough is the prohibitive favorite to sweep national freshman of the year honors.
• The nation's No. 1 team, Duke, has started a majority-white lineup for the first time in a decade. Four other AP Top 25 teams start majority-white lineups as well (Gonzaga, West Virginia, North Carolina and Iowa). Last year, there were two teams in the final AP Top 25 with majority-white starting lineups. No team has won the national title starting three or more white players on championship Monday since Duke in 1991.
• In America's best league, the Big East, white players led the conference through mid-February in eight of 12 statistical categories (rebounding, field goal percentage, assists, free throw percentage, 3-point percentage, 3-pointers made, assist/turnover ratio and defensive rebounds).
• In America's second-best league, the Big Ten, white players led the conference in five categories (scoring, rebounding, assists, blocked shots and defensive rebounds). White players ranked third or better in 10 of 12 categories.
Some of the best white athletes can be found in Morgantown, W.Va. The Mountaineers' top four scorers are white, and at times they can see the skepticism on the faces of opponents and hear it in their voices. Before one game, point guard J.D. Collins, who is black, poked his head in the huddle and told his teammates about it.
"J.D. said in the huddle, 'These guys aren't giving my white boys any respect! They just think they can run over my white boys!' " guard Patrick Beilein said. "And he was probably right. ... We look like a high school team."
What's the conclusion? At minimum, this is a cultural trend break (however temporary), and a challenge to a widely accepted sports stereotype. Remember Sports Illustrated's 1997 cover question, "What ever happened to the white athlete?" Answer: He's alive and well and raining down jumpers in college hoops.
Peter Roby of the Center for the Study of Sport and Society at Northeastern University said that white players' success "doesn't surprise me at all. If you've been around basketball, you know kids can play no matter what they look like."
But he also brought up the whites-can't-play-basketball stereotype.
"You know the old comment, 'For a white boy, he can really play,'" Roby said. "It's unfortunate, but it has been [the case]. We've gotten too used to defining everything by race. Our position at the Center for the Study of Sport and Society is that sports brings people together and makes race irrelevant.
"I hope the way we'll get beyond that is by having these discussions. Things like this article can get us beyond the emotion involved with race. If you get past skin color and stereotypes, Redick and Morrison probably have a lot more in common with [black] players than not."
African-Americans are still the dominant racial-cultural force at the high end of the college game, and Morrison and Redick don't necessarily represent a new trend. But if nothing else, this season can serve as a reminder that basketball is an inclusive sport. It can be played on a virtuoso level by kids with braids and buzz cuts. They can come from major metropolitan areas and from Midwestern cornfields, and they can come from places like Roanoke, Va., (Redick); Spokane, Wash., (Morrison); Martinsburg, W.Va., (Pittsnogle); and Poplar Bluff, Mo., (Hansbrough).
"I think it's healthy," Wilbon said. "The only way white parents and coaches and media people and mainstream culture at large are going to stop sending the message of, 'You can't possibly play because you're white,' is if folks see white kids play. It's the same kind of necessary reinforcement as black kids seeing a black man work as a scientist.
"My position on this, consistently, is that white folks talk white American kids out of wanting to play basketball, just like black folks talk black American kids out of pursuing science or technology or the law or literature. So I love this Morrison-Redick thing. And Pittsnogle, too, for that matter."
So now the natural question: How do you explain the Morrison-Redick phenomenon? There are various theories:
• It's a fluke, a demographic hiccup, a statistical blip that will correct itself when this group moves on to the pros. There is no definitive evidence that teenage America is teeming with future Morrisons or Redicks. This may just be cyclical and not a statistically valid sample from which to draw a conclusion.
• Early entry to the pros has been a largely black vehicle. And white players are the ones filling that vacuum.
If there were no early entry, for example, LeBron James would be a junior in college and Dwight Howard would be a sophomore. And Redick and Morrison would have just a little competition for player of the year honors. In many cases, players most likely to stay in college longer and develop their games are white. The list of recent white early entrants is short: Chris Mihm of Texas; Mike Miller, Jason Williams and Matt Walsh of Florida; Michael Bradley of Villanova; Troy Murphy of Notre Dame; Mike Dunleavy and Shavlik Randolph of Duke; Joel Przybilla of Minnesota; and Robert Swift, straight from high school.
Of the All-America candidates mentioned above, Redick, Gansey, Pittsnogle and Davis are seniors. Morrison and Fazekas are juniors. All but Gansey either considered going pro last year, or could have considered it. All stayed in school.
"I don't think it's a coincidence that Morrison and Redick are junior and senior," said Roby, the former basketball coach at Harvard. "J.J. Redick isn't anything now like he was as a freshman."
• Give the devil its due: the AAU/travel team circuit, rightfully blamed for so many of the problems in youth basketball, has a positive side. It's been a powerful integrating force.
Redick didn't spend his teenage years solely shooting jumpers on the gravel court outside of his rustic home near Roanoke. His family drove him across the state of Virginia to play with Boo Williams' highly acclaimed (and mostly black) AAU outfit out of Hampton Roads. The Memphis Grizzlies' Miller didn't stay home in Mitchell, S.D., either. He traveled the national circuit, playing with and against kids from every metropolis. Same with Hansbrough.
If you're going to be somebody in basketball these days, you must play on a traveling team -- no matter where you're from. To do that, you must travel to bigger cities to play on better teams and against better teams.
"Don't underestimate the influence of the AAU programs here," said author Charles P. Pierce, who has written frequently and insightfully on race and basketball. "Even white kids from white suburbs, segregated most of the time by the invisible barriers of class, have to play, travel and live with black kids from harder circumstances."
• Hip-hop. Don't underestimate its impact on basketball. Or on white America.
Redick has said that he likes the lyrics of Nas and Tupac, and much of his publicized poetry is written in a hip-hop cadence. It's a chicken-and-egg debate as to which came first for many young white players -- immersion in hoops or immersion in hip-hop -- but there is a synergy between the two.
"What we are seeing now coming through the college basketball pipeline are the white children of the hip-hop culture," Pierce said. "These are the kids who took the music and the style back to their suburban homes the way the kids of the '50s brought jazz to the upper West Side and, pretty soon, you had white musicians sitting in with the best of them.
"These are the crossover kids, who have defined their game within the black cultural forces at work in music and, especially, in basketball. ... Redick is a classic trash-talker, and he didn't learn that from Chris Collins or Wojo [Duke assistant coaches Collins and Steve Wojciechowski]."
On this point, Roby disagrees, saying, "Last time I checked, basketball was here before hip-hop. We've had interracial teams since the '50s. ... When a white kid walks into a group of black folks and shoots the lights out? He gets accepted a lot easier than if he likes hip-hop."
• The kids who kept playing basketball through the white flight from the sport are made of sterner stuff. They had to be to survive and thrive in an era when the repeated message what that white men can't jump, can't play and don't belong.
"I think, or hope, what we're seeing is that the white kids we're talking about were simply too strong of mind to be talked out of playing basketball," Wilbon said. "And that takes guts. It really does."
Said Pierce: "I think, but cannot prove, that the change that came over basketball in the 1980s and 1990s scared off a great number of white kids, made them feel alien within the culture of the sport. The brave ones stayed, and I think you're seeing the results of that today."
The result is a cultural curiosity, as Morrison and Redick lead a group of white players trying to rejoin their black colleagues on the Glory Road paved 40 years ago.
