However, that's not what we want to talk about per se. What we want to talk about is one of Rehnquist's homes, which was in Vermont.
It seems that that home had a clause in its deed that forbade the sale of it to people of the Jewish "race." The use of the word "race" is significant [1].
With that issue in mind, we note that as late as the 1920s, some American businesses had signs in front of them stating that no Jews were allowed inside. How times change! The Chinese were primitive, stone age people when the white, Nordic settlers from the Tarim Basin (known today as Chinese Turkestan) first moved into Northern China around 2,000 BC. But the giant baseball caps did not produce a white enough appearance. There were too many California sunrays touching their naturally golden faces and turning them brown as Mexicans. And so, just this year, some enterprising Chinese invented the welder's face shield for fashion-conscious Chinese women. And it looks just like a welder's shield, too, or the plastic safety shield used in a machine shop. It is a wrap-around piece of nearly opaque plastic that covers the entire fa ce from ear to ear like a space man's helmet. This sun shield also can be rotated upward to form a plastic baseball cap bill for Chinese women who want to take a breath of fresh air. But usually you can see them walking or driving around town with their faces completely covered like female welders who take their jobs home
with them.
During an idle time at my store while looking out the window at a parked car, I didn't understand why the little Chinese girl was holding the paper in front of her face. Perhaps she was six or seven years old, wearing sunglasses as she sat in the car waiting for her mother. She was holding the side of a brown paper bag in front of her face to hold back the sunlight. But when her mother came out of the store next door, it made more sense. Here was a fashion-conscious Chinese woman whose face was completely hidden from view by her wrap-around face shield. Not even the tip of her chin was showing. Her arms were covered with long, white glo ves that reached from finger-tips to shoulders. And she was holding a pink umbrella in one hand to protect her from the glorious California sunshine while holding a sack of groceries in the other arm. She pressed the button on her car keys and the doors of the Mercedes dutifully unlocked. She stuffed the groceries inside, lowered the sun visor of the car to protect her even more
and then drove away. Her little girl shrank down behind the paper bag and pulled it tightly against her face as they left the parking lot -- a brown-skinned little doll trying to be as beautifully pale as her mommy hiding from the sun.
I thank God that the women of America are not as fashion conscious as those stupid and ridiculous Chinese women. In this country of free will and freedom of expression, our women don't invent even a single one of their own fashions like the Chinese women do. In America, the women have no need of thinking about what to wear or how to look because the Jews do a ll of their thinking for them. "Should we pull out or stay, should we 'cut and run' or finish the job we started." We hear every reason examined and discussed...every one except the real reason, oil. And please notice, we never see the oil wells or plants in Iraq.
None of the reasons for staying make much sense when given a little thought. For instance, we are supposed to believe it is not macho to walk away from a fight we have started. But we citizens did not start the fight with Iraq and they did not start it with us, our government started it on purpose, and citizens suffer for it and pay for it. Not one elected American official has died in Iraq to my knowledge. And with all the publicity why is it we never see and oil well doing what they do? We don't see them being attacked nor do we see who guards them.
We could tick off the reasons we are told for the wars one by one, but you already know them, you hear them every day too...except for the one real reason that makes perfect sense.
The real reason for staying in Iraq, the one we are never told about, has to be involved with oil because that is what Iraq does, it produces oil. Oil is the national business of Iraq, it is a series of scattered giant oilfields with sand poured on top! Why else would the 200,000 men solders be there?
Fox News presented a shocking but all too typical example of how oil-o-phobia infects Democrats, the Administration, and the big media with chicken virus on Sunday, December 4. News host Chris Wallace interviewed neo-war opponent, Democrat Barbara Boxer and Presidential Security Adviser Stephen Hadley.
Chis Wallace hurled creampuff questions at the guest about Iraq. The pat logic for staying was debated. One of several silly argument is, "We owe it to the Iraqis to finish the job of democratizing them," inane because the country is now in civil war over our presence. But the one real reason for staying is never uttered by any side, OIL, oil, oil. Not one reference was made to any oil related word, such as "petroleum" on the Chris Walace show, you would not know oil exists. If you find this hard to believe, so did I, but it's not even unusual, it's the norm in press encounters.
When someone is trying to fool you the first thing they lie about is their motive. If you can be convinced the Warmaker has a noble motive, you may have forgiveness and even support. You may even defend the liar for having good intentions even when he is caught red-tongued, if there seems to be no evil motive. The Warmakers can't justify their motive for being in Iraq so they hide it under a media blackout, and the press also must forget there is oil in Iraq, so powerful is the force of their purse.
WE STAY TO PROTECT THE INTERNATIONAL OIL INDUSTRY
The USA and our British partner cannot pull out because the industrial companies our leaders have placed in charge of the oil fields all over Iraq can not hold the territory without our troops.
Our 200,000 solders have to keep 15 million Iraqi's imprisoned in big city gulags so the people don't bother the folks who control and guard the oil field.
If our leaders withdraw our military, Halliburton, the Seven Sisters, and hundreds of their illegitimate brats who are profiteering in Iraq, would all have to go home. The people of Iraq have shown that they are willing to die for what they consider theirs; the Warmaker's private armies do not have the stomach for such a conflict without our full military support.
Simply stated, the revolt against the occupation(called "insurgency")is a revolution to get back the national wealth of the country. Oil and water are the natural assets of Iraq. Every Iraqi benefited in some way from oil, even under the petty tyrant Saddam Hussein who was a small time assassin compared to our own Warmakers. But few Iraqis have benefited from the oil under Halliburton. Gasoline cost as little as $.05 per gallon before Shock and Awe, yes, I mean five cents a gallon. Now there is a gasoline shortage in Iraq, and the production is way down. Our leaders have proved they don't care if the Iraqis have a civil war and kill each other, while they are contained and kept busy in the cites guess who is harvesting the oil in the desert?
Do you need proof that our troops stay to protect the oil profiteers? Ask yourself "When did I last see a press report on or a film about the oilfields in Basra or northern Iraq, or anywhere else in the country for that matter? The answer is probably "never." This writer has not seen one since the 1991 withdrawal from Kuwait when we saw distant panoramas of burning oil wells on the horizon as far as the eye could see. Then, for a brief moment in history, we saw an image of what the real Iraq should look like. Then, Brown and Root, Halliburton and others, came in to put out the fires, and the Warmakers have never left. It makes one suspicious of who started the fires, I think Saddam started them, but could I be mistaken?
We occasionally hear about an attack on a pipeline, but where is the color photo of these attacks? Why don't Don Rumsfeld and Dick Cheney pose for photo ops beside a drilling rig, refinery or pumping station in what is the second largest oil reserve in the world?
The answer is simple. THEY DON'T WANT YOU TO REMEMBER THE OIL. If the news does not show oil, and our President does not mention it, it does not exist. Then there is no motive for perpetuating an American created civil war in a cage. Please also note that with all the Democrat political neo-objections and anti-war posturing, not one congressman I know of has dared to bring up the oil motive. Democrats also voted for the war, and they look to war business for their reelection. To buck the war is politically acceptable, so long as appropriation of the oil fields is not mentioned as a motive for having gone to war. It is also taboo to say we went to help Israel, which is now participating in the plunder.
To Halliburton, the Seven Oil Sisters, and all the armament makers, Iraqis oil fields are very real. The "War on Terrorism" is too good a deal to just walk away from.
Our controlled press is also afraid of Halliburton, the seven oily Sisters and their slick lesser brats. Don't expect your TV anchor to tell you we are staying the course to make Iraq safe for Wall Street's Warmaker enterprises and international bankers. Blackwater Corporation mercenaries are paid at the rate of about a $1000.00 per day to watch the black stuff flow from the ground, as it flows in few other places in the world, at a production cost of only pennies per barrel. No wonder industrial America wants you to guard their newfound empire, acquired with bombs and bullets you paid for.

ATLANTA -- A Georgia man has filed a lawsuit against Wal-Mart in federal district court in Atlanta in a fight over his T-shirts that compare the retailer's business practices to the Holocaust.
Charles Smith has been marketing shirts that read, "I (heart) Wal-ocaust" T-shirts. Wal-Mart filed a cease-and-desist order in an attempt to make him stop printing the shirts.
The company said Smith is engaging in trademark infringement. It has threatened to sue Smith if he continues to display the logos on his Web site and to print them on his products.
The 48-year-old Smith is a computer repairman and said he has no deep connection to the company. But he claims using the logos is a free speech issue.
Smith said he came up with his anti-Wal-Mart logo after conversations with a customer and an employee who both had bad experiences with the retailer.
He designed his first logo in July. One shirt -- with "Wal-ocaust" printed above an eagle and a smiley face sold on Nov. 16 and netted Smith $5.10.
He said if the court sides with him, he will use any profits to pay his legal fees and for continued production of the products.
Wal-Mart spokeswoman Sarah Clark said Smith is infringing on the company's trademark and also "making an offensive association between Wal-Mart and one of the greatest tragedies of the past century."

District Attorney Tom Orloff said it is too early to tell how long the investigation will take.
After attending a briefing at police headquarters for officers who were just beginning their shifts, Brown went with officers to three clubs that have been the subject of numerous complaints, including @17th, near Telegraph Avenue and 17th Street, said Gil Duran, the mayor's spokesman.
The incident began about 1:30 a.m. when security guards removed Rochelle Evans from the club for allegedly being over intoxicated. Her sister, Latrenia Delonge of Newark, and their friend Ayesha Wilson of Manteca left with her. All three are African American.
Outside the popular night spot, two groups of girls were yelling and fighting. Delonge said she got too close to the melee and was struck in the eye with a shoe by another woman.
While she was attending to Evans and Delonge, Wilson said she asked an Oakland police officer for help in calling an ambulance and making a report. As she spoke to him, she said she heard someone behind her say, ``That's what you get for being here,'' and turned around to see who was speaking.
Wilson said the mayor identified himself, and the two exchanged words before she went back to Delonge, who was bleeding and struggling for breath. Delonge has asthma, she said.

Defense Minister Shaul Mofaz was asked whether Israel was ready to use military action if the Security Council proved unable to act against what Israel and the West believe is a covert Iranian nuclear weapons program.
"My answer to this question is that the state of Israel has the right give all the security that is needed to the people in Israel. We have to defend ourselves," Mofaz told Reuters after a meeting with his German counterpart Franz Josef Jung.
Iran denies wanting nuclear weapons and says it is only interested in the peaceful generation of electricity. It has also threatened to retaliate if Israel or the United States were to bomb any of its nuclear facilities.
In 1981, Israel bombed Iraq's Osirak nuclear reactor to prevent Saddam Hussein from getting nuclear weapons. Saddam's covert atom bomb program continued until U.N. inspectors dismantled it after the 1991 Gulf War, but the Israeli strike set progress back many years.

Two Dutch universities have stripped a late Nobel chemistry laureate of honors, citing new evidence that he collaborated with the Nazis to oust Jews from academic positions.
The information about Dutch-born Peter Debye, who won the Nobel in 1936, emerged a month ago in a book, "Albert Einstein in the Netherlands."
The book, by Berlin-based author Sybe I. Rispens, cited letters Einstein wrote to colleagues about his suspicions of Debye when the Dutchman moved to the United States in 1940, where he lived until his death in 1966.
The book reproduced a 1938 note by Debye, then director of the prestigious Max Planck Institute in Berlin, instructing Jewish members of the institute to quit.
It said: "In light of the current situation, membership by German Jews as stipulated by the Nuremberg laws, of the Deutsche Physikalische Gesellschaft cannot be continued. According to the wishes of the board, I ask of all members to whom these definitions apply to report to me their resignation. Heil Hitler."
Debye won the Nobel prize for his studies on the structure of molecules. His name has been adopted as a unit of measurement for an interaction of electrons called a dipole moment.
Utrecht University, where Debye was a professor of theoretical physics in 1912, said it decided to change the name of the university's Debye Institute for physics and chemistry after learning of Debye's actions against German Jews.
"Maybe he was forced to do it, but he did it anyway," said Ludo Koks, a university spokesman.
The University of Maastricht, in the town where Debye was born in 1884, said it has severed ties to an international prize named for Debye, which is awarded by an independent foundation for original research in chemistry or physics.
The Edmond Hustinx Foundation has yet to decide whether to change the name of the prize, awarded every two or three years on the recommendation of a jury selected by the university.
Both universities acknowledge the evidence about Debye's pro-Nazi actions is inconclusive.
But it was clear "he did not act fiercely enough to defend academic freedom," said Maastricht University spokeswoman Jeanine Hermans. "A university should be an example."
The two universities jointly turned to the authoritative Netherlands Institute for War Documentation for an opinion about Rispens' documents before taking action. The historical institute responded that the sources cited in the book were reliable, but passed no judgment on Debye.
Nazi Germany invited Debye to return in 1941 but he remained at Cornell University in New York and became a U.S. citizen in 1946.

If you have read me, you know I am not high on ETFs, or paper metal
vehicles. I am going to go into my reasons in a moment, but first,
let's look at what a real silver ETF can do to the world economy and
the metals markets..
Right now, there is a heck of a lot of talk about silver ETFs. Given
the fact that the metals are moving up rapidly over the recent years,
silver is up from about 5 bucks to about ten.
Gold is up from about 300 to going on 600, and this is since 2002.
So, in 4 years gold and silver have doubled.
Now, there is talk about the fact that the gold price is managed
(manipulated down) by central banks. Well, if you had a money machine
that could print money on demand, like they do, maybe you would
manipulate gold too if you could...
Of course that is not right though. Never mind.
Now, there is far more gold in central banks than silver. The US has
about 8000 tons of gold in reserve (public statistic) and it has sold
its billions of ounces of silver over the last 50 years. Now we have
None.
The other central banks have similar positions, i.e. they have
virtually no silver. But China is said to have a secret stockpile of
silver. And I believe that.
The proposed silver ETFs are going to create a situation where there
is NO WIGGLE room for central banks. Now lots of people are naturally
going to invest in silver ETFs, and frankly I think that is not a good
idea. But, if you want paper profits and know how to exit right, then
maybe this paper monstrosity is for you. But it is not for me, and I'll
get into that in a few paragraphs.
In any case, the silver ETF may indeed be the thing that brings down
the monetary house of cards. Reason? The central banks have virtually
no silver to hold down the price.
If the metal action VSVS currencies were to be directed into a hot
silver ETF driven market, we could see a real hit to the paper currency
market because gold would naturally rise in tandem to silver. It would
drag central banks indirectly into defending their currencies via gold,
because the silver ETF would perhaps skyrocket.
Then gold naturally would rise in tandem with the silver shortage
generated by a silver ETF.
But, As I have, said I don't like a metal ETF.
What ETFs do
An electronic trading fund takes in money and is said to buy the
commodity and hold it in a vault. Your position in that fund is an
electronic entry. As the prices rise and fall, theoretically the fund
will buy and sell metal to keep the mixture correct. Also as
redemptions and new money come in they buy and sell the actual
commodity for the fund.
That is the theory.
Now, in my past articles about ETFs, I have stated that they are
really speculation vehicles, and in fact the 'gold/silver' moniker is
really more of a reason to speculate, and not the other way around, IMO.
Here is an excerpt from my article ETFs are Not Real Assets:
There are ETFs coming online for many things now. These funds are
supposed to be market participants, but really, they are loaded with
liabilities. I have written in the past about my belief that gold ETFs
are not worth messing with.
You buy a gold ETF to get out of paper dollars, but the gold ETF is
paper too! Your account is an electronic book entry against the ETF and
is only as good as the credibility of the ETFs principals and
employees. Furthermore, the laws of the host nation have to be in favor
of you, (ie you have to be allowed to have gold in the first place, or
there cannot be a real currency crisis, in which case, if an ETF has
several hundred tons of gold I guarantee you will never see that gold
yourself, but you have merely paid to have it stored so that the
government in crisis can buy it from the ETF at a fixed price THEY
choose, not you.
I am concerned about the problems associated with new paper investment
vehicles that require more liquidity than the market is able to
provide. I suppose that if an ETF is having trouble getting their hands
on the physicals, (mere claims on some bullion in someone's vault like
Brinks) that they will find analogous ways to get claims on more
bullion, not necessarily by buying it but by creating new paper claims
against some gold somewhere, if not in a Brinks vault, then some kind
of claim on some gold by who knows what method.
You see, the thing recedes. People want to buy gold through an ETF but
really they are forgoing what the actual issue of gold is about and
that is physical possession of bullion, and not paper claims! .
Now let us return to an ETF. Given the fact that these are really
paper promises from an ETF to you, the investor, you realize of course
that you are depending totally on their integrity, solubility, and
market liquidity, that the physical assets you think you are buying are
actually there where you think it is. AND if you want to ever get it
back, I predict the best way to redeem it will be again, in dollars,
and not in that asset in kind. Like taking delivery on a COMEX contract.
But you think that you are owning a real thing.
An ETF is regulated by the laws of the land. Laws change. What you buy
into today may be completely different from what you are owning
tomorrow, basically depending on the financial stability of the Nation
in question, and at the whim of the legislators or the President, who
can change anything and have changed everything in times of great
crisis.
ETFs Are Not Real Assets
The problem is that, should there be a real financial crisis, all you
would ever get out of an ETF would be more paper or electronic dollars!
I have been writing about this issue in the PrudentSquirrel newsletter
for a while.
Several of my subscribers, upon reading this view I have on ETFs
contacted their ETFs with some questions.
First, one subscriber had money in a gold /silver ETF. Upon reading my
contention that they will never see any actual metal, but only be
redeemed in dollars, the subscriber called his ETF and asked if he
wanted some metal, could he get that instead of the paper dollars.
Answer? NO.
Now, imagine that in a real USD crisis, the ETF 'gold' or silver you
thought you had, is really an amount of US dollars, that are given back
to you, but that currency is crashing.
That means that all you would get out are US dollars, amidst a
collapsing USD market. A lot of good such an ETF would do you.
Of course if the USD does not totally collapse, your dollars redeemed
should be much higher, but, the VALUE of those dollars is way less than
the dollars you put into the ETF in the first place. So you think you
make a hundreds of percent profit, but the dollar in this example is
devaluing faster than that!
Another subscriber called his ETF and asked if the actual gold holding
grow, or how do they keep up the stock? Answer? Your dollar value goes
up in the ETF but your actual gold percent drops accordingly!
He said he didn't want to buy gold to have it drop in gross amount!
Yes, I think so too!
See how complicated this gets when you don't just buy the bullion
yourself?
Again, I maintain that people may make lots of paper profits or not in
an ETF, but they are most likely never to see one ounce of metal at any
point in the process, in or out.
ETFs are speculation vehicles and are not real metal investments, they
are trading mechanisms. They get to hold all the gold, you buy it for
them, and all you get in or out is paper dollars. SO don't confuse ETFs
with actual bullion purchases because they are not the same at ALL.
There is a very interesting Email that I received from another
subscriber where he asked a major gold ETF about my assertions that
ETFs are not very good vehicles for metal investing in regards to
safety. The ETF replied at length to my 5 major points of concern.

Iran will be stopped, Cheney vows to Israeli lobbyists

Vice President Dick Cheney has vowed unshakeable solidarity with Israel, and
condemned the new Palestinian government.
Cheney made it clear Iran would not be allowed to have a nuclear weapon, described
the Iranian regime as "irresponsible," and warned the United States had "all options on
the table."
"The Iranian regime needs to know that if it stays on its present course, the
international community is prepared to impose meaningful consequences," he said.
Cheney was addressing 5,000 pro-Israel activists from all 50 states Monday who
gathered in Washington, D.C., to attend the two-day Annual Policy Conference of
AIPAC, America's pro-Israel lobbyist organization, which began Sunday. The focus
of the conference was "the urgency of stopping Iran from developing nuclear weapons
and isolating the Palestinian government, which is now controlled by the terrorist group
Hamas." Additionally, AIPAC delegates had 400 lobbying appointments with
members of the House and Senate who were in attendance.
The American vice president joined U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, John
Bolton, in condemning the new Hamas-led Palestinian government. Bolton too echoed
the vice-president's "unshakeable" commitment to the U.S.-Israel alliance.
"While Mr. Ahmadi-nejad, president of the Islamic Republic of Iran, has clearly failed
his lessons in history, indulge me a moment if you will to offer him up at least one
lesson on current events: our commitment to Israel's security and the alliance between
the United States and Israel are unshakeable," Bolton told the conference.

Bulk ammunition and MRE shortages have apparently arrived in the USA.
We're advising you of this now, because we expect this will become
become a huge story in coming months - one that the future predicting
web bot project (www.halfpasthuman.com) has been alluding to for more
than a year in a software "entity" called "encounter with scarcity" due
to arrive in full force this summer.
Let me lay out the facts. I received the following email from a reader
yesterday that reads as follows:
"The 7.62x39 ammo is all but dried up according to my firearms dealer.
And: .223 ammo has gone up in price dramatically according to the same
dealer. He said that the ammo manufacturers are of course dedicated to
the military. It is available but he said some of what he normally
orders went up 14%. (more than his profit margin) He said that his
December and January was the best Dec and Jan he has ever had. And
those months are usually extremely slow!
He mentioned that prices on firearms have gone up allot after the shot
show was over, but it doesn't seem to be stopping people from buying.
He said, people are worried what is going to happen, here in this
country.
Just thought I'd pass it along for your information, in case you need
to pick up anything."
Because we have a fair bit of land out here in East Texas to defend
from, among other things, wild pigs, coyotes, skunks, panthers, and
such, we like to have a little ammo on hand. So I started checking
around for 7.62 X 39 rounds for the SKS.
* At Cabelas (www.cabelas.com) I found when I tried to order 7.62 X 39
154 grain soft points in the 500 round bulks pack (Item IG-215187) they
were on back order. So were the 1,000 round boxes. Also, the 7.62 X 39
hollow point rounds in quantity (500 and up) are back ordered.

No problem, I thought - I'll just go to Cheaper Than Dirt
(www.cheaperthandirt.com) and buy some there. Anything in quantity (and
some special use) 7.62 has the "check status" warning - indicating back
ordered.

At Sportsman's Guide (www.sportsmansguide.com) I was able to find some
sealed cans of 7.62 full metal jacket (FMJ), but when I tried to add it
to my shopping cart, look at the lead times:
Being curious as heck about this, I called tech support for one of
these stores and asked the obvious question: "What gives?" The answer
was surprising. "Well, the military has been buying up all kinds of
ammo - it's not just the 7.62 - it's other stuff too, like 9 millimeter
pistol ammo in quantities. We get a few boxes in now and then, so you
might want to call back every few days. But like I said, the military
is buying everything they can get."
So I brought this up to Panama Bates (our resident retired SF/Ranger
security chief). "Funny you would mention that...I haven't been able to
find MRE's either." Bates, a retired soldier, usually has a stash of
MRE's about (we have a few here and there, too).
I was surprised to hear about MRE's though, so I put in a quick call
to Scotty at out Emergency Essentials (www.beprepared.com,
1-800-999-1863) to find out if MRE's had in fact "gone missing." Turns
out Scotty was out till this morning, but his staff advised me that
yes, they are out of MRE's - and they also were kind enough to advise
me that the ones that may still find on eBay could be old stock (be
sure to get dates!).
On the other hand, Emergency Essentials operates their own
freeze-dried operation, so they have good supplies of those (plus
things like the 50-pound super pails of wheat, long term stored yeast,
etc. that we use here). We'll try to let you know when Emergency
Essentials gets MRE's back in stock. Remember, we advised you to buy
MRE's and storage foods quite some time ago.
Now, here is what I've some to as a possible "bottom line."
1.
The military (and not just the US military, I was told) is indeed
buying up huge amounts of ammunition. Not the kind of thing I would
expect if the war in Iraq was going at all well. I read the ammo part
of the story as "more war - bigger war - to come."
2.
The food purchases are also worrisome because it indicates to me that
the current levels of military activity (or higher) are to be continued
for some time.
Again, the web bot project has been predicting an "encounter with
scarcity" this summer (along with two major international crisis to
come, war in September and so forth). The question the pragmatic
economist must ask today is whether this recently developed lack of
availability of quantity ammunition (and it's not just 7.62, as you'll
find if you do some serious research) and the lack of available current
run MRE's is the leading edge of scarcities of other commodities yet to
come.
Regrettably, given the track record of the future predictive software,
we expect this will turn out to be the case. We might be picking up the
odd extra roll of Charmin, bleach, and soap, too. While we're cognizant
that such a report may be a bit unsettling - and might be blamed later
for shortages we expect to see coming, the evidence is already on the
table (at least in ammo and MRE's) that scarcity may have started to
arrive.
We report this story as a duty. The Second Amendment to the
Constitution instructs us that: "A well regulated Militia, being
necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to
keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."
