We have received no response from the ADL regarding their purported internal report, "Breaking the Cycle of Hate: The Final Stage." As we can find no minor particular in which the policies advocated depart from ADL's known efforts, we conclude that it is likelier than not that the document is indeed what it purports to be: a euphemistically worded Final Solution to be directed by the ADL against White people. Reader beware, now more than ever.

A Confederacy Of Dunces

So far weve spent $200,000,000.00 in Iraq, and done nothing but alienate the world and kill about 35,000 innocent people, mostly women and children. Attacking Iraq in retribution for 9/11 (or whatever the Bush faithful are being offered as this weeks excuse) is the logical equivalent of invading Mexico to get even for Pearl Harbor. But Bush did just that. And, thanks to 59 million American fools who believe whatever he and his media stooges tell them, Bush can now continue to do more of just that on our nickel and the blood of our young.

DENVER: A woman assaulted by a Mexican national at a Denver pro-immigration forum sponsored by First Data/Western Union filed a civil lawsuit today in Denver District Court. The lawsuit suit includes claims for ethnic intimidation, civil conspiracy, assault and battery, robbery, personal injury, and property damage against Colorado-based First Data Corporation, its subsidiary Western Union, the First Data/Western Union Foundation, the attacker and her former employer, Hep C Connection.

The plaintiff, Terry Graham, was challenging the forum's panelists from the audience when she was attacked and brutally assaulted by Julissa Molina-Soto, 32, an immigrants' rights activist.

Denver attorney Robert Corry, who is representing Graham, said, "No person in the United States of America should fear violent retaliation for exercising her First Amendment rights to speak out and participate in an open community forum. The sponsors of this forum, First Data Corporation and Western Union, had a duty and obligation to provide adequate security at the event, a responsibility they utterly failed to satisfy."

The forum was held on July 22 at Denver's North High School. The school was recently the focus of a national controversy for displaying the Mexican flag in its classrooms.

Denver police at the event arrested Molina-Soto and charged her with assault. She was released within minutes after the intervention of Mexican General Consul Juan Marcos Gutierrez and other Latino leaders, according to reports published in La Voz Nueva, a bilingual newspaper.

As paramedics attended to Graham following the assault, Polly Baca -- a Director of First Data/Western Union Foundation and head of Denver nonprofit LARASA ("The Race") -- and ACLU lawyer Adrienne Benavidez assured the largely Latino audience from the podium that Molina-Soto would have legal representation.

Molina-Soto is scheduled to appear on October 26 in Denver County Court on the assault charges. Jeff Joseph, head of the Colorado Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), is representing Molina-Soto in the criminal case.

Molina-Soto and her two children entered the U.S. nine years ago. A Mexican citizen, she reportedly has permanent resident alien status. She has held various jobs involving healthcare rights for legal and illegal Latino immigrants.

Baca's organization, LARASA, and Molina-Soto, who until recently was multicultural outreach coordinator for Denver's Hep C Connection, jointly ran a Latino outreach campaign on Hepatitis C in 2003. Benavidez, head of Denver's nonprofit Color of Justice, has long been a critic of the Denver Police Department's treatment of minorities. Benavidez headed Denver's Public Safety Review Commission, reviewing citizen complaints against police officers, for five years during which time the Police Protective Association accused her of bias. Former Police Chief Tom Sanchez protested the PSRC's "witch-hunt atmosphere" under her leadership. A vocal opponent of Denver's Columbus Day celebration, Benavidez also sits on the Board of Directors of Servicios de la Raza ("Services For The Race").

According to the First Data/Western Union Foundation website ( LARASA, Services de la Raza, and Hep C Connection have all received Foundation grants since 2001.

Molina-Soto's attorney, Jeff Joseph, debated Colorado Congressman Tom Tancredo in February on the topic of immigration stating that "[The] enforcement policy of immigration is not in line with reality." Joseph also criticized President Bush's controversial immigrant amnesty proposal, saying it did not give incentives for illegal aliens to register and become legal US residents.

First Data Corporation has taken the lead in promoting massive immigration and immigrants' rights -- including illegal aliens -- since settling lawsuits charging that its subsidiary, Western Union, failed to disclose unreasonably high commissions it charged when wiring customers' money to Mexico.

In March, First Data/Western Union set up a $10 million "Empowerment Fund" to be used for Latino and pro-immigration causes. Raul Yzaguirre, president of the National Council of La Raza ("The Race"); Sal Gomez, Chairman the Denver Hispanic Chamber Gomez; and Robert de Posada, President of the Latino Coalition, were appointed by First Data to the Fund's Advisory Board. The Empowerment Fund is separate and in addition to charitable donations totaling about $5.5 million that First Data made as part of settlements of the class-action lawsuits.

Since March, First Data/Western Union has sponsored immigration panels across the nation. FIrst Data ignored complaints made prior to the Denver forum that participants did not represent both sides of the issue. Panelists at the Denver forum included Thomas Saenz of the Mexican-American Legal Defense and Educational Fund (MALDEF); Lisa Duran of Derechos Por Todos ("Rights For Everyone"); Juan Salgado, President of the Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights; Robert de Posada of The Latino Coalition; Raul Hinosa, UCLA's North American Integration and Development Center; and Roberto Ramirez, Founder of the Jesus Guadalupe Foundation. Some individuals had complained to First Data prior to the Denver panel that it was skewed and did not represent both sides of the issue.

First Data CEO Charles Fote announced in April that $800,000 of the Empowerment Fund would be used to create a Denver pilot program to support and increase the number of Latino business owners.

US Congress to investigate Zionist and excessive Jewish influence.

A Petition to the Congress of the United States requesting that its members immediately and thoroughly investigate and hold public hearings to determine if national and international Zionists and Jewish and/or Jewish influenced organizations and individuals are exercising excessive, disproportionate influence in America. The Congress will set forth its findings within a reasonable amount of time (six months) and, as appropriate, subsequently consider and pass legislation to correct such excessive influence that affects other Americans.

This request emanates from the fears and beliefs of citizens of these United States who are concerned for their and the future of their children, grandchildren, family, friends and neighbors. There is great concern in the following areas:

1. Is the American Israeli Pubic Affairs Committee (AIPAC), which is reported to be one of the most powerful lobbies in Washington, D.C., and may be acting in the interest of a foreign power, acting to the detriment of citizens of the United States of America?

2. Are Zionists and Jewish/Jewish Influenced organizations and individuals such as the Anti Defamation League, National Conference for Community and Justice, Southern Poverty Law Center and others infiltrating our public schools and colleges, offering and providing books, videos, plays and other educational and propaganda tools that denigrate the European American white community?

3. Is there any truth to the belief that Zionist Jewish and/or Jewish influenced organizations and individuals control/censor/limit much of the flow of international, national and local news to the citizens of the United States?

4. Does there exist Jewish ethnic nepotism favorable to Zionists and Jews, but disfavorable and harmful to Gentiles--which includes Christians and Muslims and other ethnic and racial groups, in any field of employment, social contract and/or organizations within and without the United States?

5. Do Zionist and Jewish/Jewish influenced organizations and individuals control newspapers, books, magazines, radio, TV, internet, and other media within and without the United States, and do they act as gatekeepers in censoring social, political and economic ideas critical of Jewish behavior that is detrimental to non-jews and Gentiles?

6. Do Jewish/Jewish influenced organizations and individuals produce motion pictures in Hollywood that taints the good name of Christians, but rarely taint the Zionist and Jewish communities here and abroad?

7. What proportion of Americas monetary, business and real estate wealth is in the control of Zionist and Jewish and/or Jewish influenced organizations and individuals in the United States?

8. It has been reported that Zionist and Jewish/Jewish influenced organizations and individuals provide approximately 50% of the National Democratic Party funds, and 25% of the National Republican Party funds. What is its impact and is it appropriate for 2.5 percent of the population to have such great political influence within the United States two major political parties?

9. What influence did Zionist, Jewish and Jewish influenced organizations and individuals exercise in amending our Immigration Laws in 1965--and controlling INS and ICE, so that such laws and related policies and the enforcement now discriminates against the immigration of Christian Europeans such as individuals from from England, France, Germany, Italy, Greece, Spain and other European countries, and instead favor third world and non European, non Christian and non Protestant immigrants.

10. What is the Jewish Talmud and does it promote or contain passages that express hatred of Gentiles in American and abroad?

11. Has there been censorship of numbers of Israeli and Jewish citizens not killed in the 911 WTC, and if so, why?

12. Was the recent passed and signed Global Anti-Semitic Awareness Act--which excludes awareness of the prejudice, hatred and acts of violence against Christians and Muslims ---an example of unfair Zionist and Jewish influence in the Legislative and Executive branches of our government? What will this Acts influence be upon our God-given rights and freedoms, and how much will its implementation cost non-Jewish Citizens.

Dear Fellow Patriot!

I really like to start out with good news. Just got word from PZG owner Mike Kelly that his wife gave birth to an 8 pound 12 ounce girl. That makes it the 9th child for the Kelly family. You know, people always ask what we can do as a white race to survive. Having children is the best anyone can do. I have another friend who continues our bloodline (five children). So, congratulations to the Kelley family, especially the Mom. Go visit the website at

The main thrust of this Patriot Letter belongs to the hard work of ret. Col. Archer Frey. He doesn't really write a lot, but when he does, its a keeper. This one should be in your records anyway:

Fallujah Fog

Courtesy of NPR

On the eve of Armistice Day and while the jewsraeli inspired US Marines were ratcheting up the attack on Fallujah, NPR, the jewsraeli radio treated its America audience to a little zionist fog.

The item of choice a radio drama entitled Red Runs the Vistula, the Warsaw uprising of 1944.

In this drama we are treated to the specter of the brave citizens of Warsaw standing up to the evil Germans. In most zionist propaganda we are reminded of the brave zionist jewsraelis struggling against all odds to win the moral victory even while losing the actual battle. But in this bizarre drama the people in Warsaw are mostly referred to as Poles.

And as in the style of its cousin the holohoax stories, the streets run red with blood making every thing slippery, the story teller is saved by some satanic intervention, the bodies are burned, but the story teller remains alive and family members including fathers are massacred in front of the children who miraculously survive to tell the whole world of the deeds of the "bad" Germans. Even the hospital in the centre of Warsaw is a scene of terror. In the best WW I Belgian babies on Germany bayonets atrocity style, a voice identified as Zanussi tells us:

Zanussi: "I was five years old and we got to the hospital, and it is very close to the centre of Warsaw, and we didn't know that this hospital was under control of the Ukrainian forces, of General Vlasov. They were allies of Hitler's and they were extremely cruel and they were killing people, and I have seen it as a child many times. They were killing patients, they were killing wounded people, and I remember them cutting women's stomachs on the maternity ward, and my mother was trying to prevent me from seeing children who were taken from - but I have seen the dead bodies of infants thrown on the floor."

Red Runs the Vistula, the Warsaw uprising of 1944

American RadioWorks documentary

Transcript, Wednesday, November 10, 2004, 9:23:18 PM

Deb Amos: This is an American RadioWorks documentary, Red Runs the Vistula, the Warsaw uprising of 1944. I'm Deborah Amos

As France was being liberated by the Allies, the Polish resistance grew emboldened to fight off the Nazi occupation.

Taborski: We assembled on the first day of the uprising and we realized just how few arms we had.

Archive tape: The Germans meant business and even brought up their giant mortar 'Thor.'

Amos: The Poles hoped the Russians would come to their aid to fight a common enemy. They were wrong.

Krappe: Even we Germans said, "Why should the Russians help the Polish people?"

Amos: In the next hour, the tragic, and heroic, story of the Warsaw Uprising. First, this news.

Part 1

Amos: From American Public Media, this is a documentary from American RadioWorks and the British Broadcasting Corporation: Red Runs the Vistula, The Warsaw Uprising of 1944. I'm Deborah Amos.

Hanna Niedzielska-Kempinska: The Old Town was absolutely free, it was fantastic feeling because there were Polish flags everywhere, people were kissing each other and we are free.

Bokiewicz: We were exhilarated because at last we could fight the Germans openly.

Amos: In August 1944, armed with just a few guns and gasoline bombs, the people of Warsaw rose up against the German occupation of their city. The uprising was meant to last just 48 hours. Instead, it went on for two months. A quarter of a million people were killed, and the Polish capital was razed to the ground. It was one of the great tragedies of the Second World War, and yet it is rarely talked about outside Poland. 60 years later, the BBC's Maria Balinska tells the story of the Warsaw Uprising from the point of view of those who were there.

Balinska: Few people remember that it was on Polish soil that the first shots in the Second World War were fired. It was September 1939.

Radio: This is the National Programme from London. These are today's main events. Germany has invaded Poland and has bombed many towns. General mobilisation has been ordered in Britain and France. Parliament was summoned for 6 o'clock this evening.

Balinska: On September 3, Great Britain and France declared war on Germany. The United States did not.

Roosevelt: My countrymen and my friends: Until 4:30 o'clock this morning, I had hoped against hope that some miracle would prevent a devastating war in Europe and bring to an end the invasion of Poland by Germany.

Balinska: President Franklin Delano Roosevelt spoke to the American people in one of his famous fireside chats.

Roosevent: At this moment, there is being prepared a proclamation of American neutrality. This proclamation is in accordance with international law and in accordance with American policy.

Balinska: Within a month, Poland had been brutally occupied, not just by Hitler's Germany, but also by its neighbour to the East: Stalin's Soviet Union. The Polish government re-assembled in London to be joined by more than 200,000 pilots and soldiers who were to serve under Allied command. Its aim, to defeat the Nazis and return to Poland as its legitimate rulers. Britain's Prime Minister Winston Churchill was full of praise for the Polish troops.

Curchill: I've seen your pilots, who have by their prowess, played a glorious part in the repulse of the German air hordes.

Balinska: In Poland itself, Europe's largest resistance movement was being formed. At its peak, the so-called 'Home Army' had some 10,000 trained soldiers, an intelligence network, and other clandestine organisations - some 350,000 members in all. Public support for the underground was overwhelming as the inhuman behaviour of the German occupiers grew bolder by the day.

Churchill: The atrocities committed by Hitler upon the Poles - the ravaging of their country, the scattering of their homes, the affronts to their religion, the enslavement of their manpower - exceed in severity and in scale the villainies perpetrated by Hitler in any other conquered land.

Balinska: The Nazis turned Poland into a racial killing ground. Hitler chose Poland for extermination camps like Auschwitz and Treblinka. In Warsaw, nearly 400,000 of the city's Jews were first herded into a ghetto, and then sent to death camps. In April 1943, the 70,000 that remained in the ghetto decided to die fighting and launched an uprising.

Few survived.

As for the Poles, Hitler described them as, "More like animals than human beings," but by summer 1944, the fortunes of war had changed.

Film Archive: Deliverance has come so suddenly to Normandy after so long a wait that the people are realising only slowly that the nightmare years of occupation are over.

Balinska: As the Allies landed in France on D-Day, every bit of news was music to the ears of the Poles. Poland too, dreamed of liberation, but unlike the people of Normandy and later Paris, the Poles had to rely entirely on their former enemy, the Soviet Union, who just five years earlier had carved up their country with the Nazis. It was a huge gamble, but there was nothing they could do. Hitler's surprise attack on the USSR in 1941 had transformed Europe's military alignments overnight.

Film Archive: Once again, Britain's prime minister poses for a photograph with Joseph Stalin in Moscow.

Balinska: Churchill and Roosevelt now needed Stalin to win the war. This was a distressing turn of events for the Poles. Stalin was the man they blamed, and rightly as it turned out, for the murder of thousands of Polish officers in the Katyn forest of Ukraine. But their constant warnings that the Soviets couldn't be trusted had transformed the Poles from what Western leaders had once described as 'the inspiration of the world,' to a thorn in the side of the Allied camp.

Film Archive: The United States, Russia, and Great Britain must become cornerstones for a world structure for peace. Yet to secure that peace, decisive victory must be achieved.

Balinska: Most Poles believed that the Allies would help them. After all, Poles had played an important part in the Battle of Britain, the battle of Monte Cassino in Italy as well as other campaigns in Western Europe.

Buoyed by German losses in the East, the Polish government in exile in London was planning an uprising. It was to be a historic gesture, a demonstration that would last a few days if not hours, and re-establish Polish sovereignty over its capital before anyone else did. By mid-July 1944, events seemed to be moving in the right direction for the Poles as the documentary film Battle for Warsaw explained.

Battle for Warsaw: The Russians having cleared the Germans from their zone of Poland looked poised to take Warsaw. On July 23 the routed German Ninth Army streamed through Warsaw blowing up strategic installations as they went. By the last week of July only a garrison of some two thousand German soldiers remained. To the Poles of Warsaw, their liberation seemed at hand.

"You, you needed only to go out in one of the east/west territories of Warsaw to see the German's troops in full retreat. We also have seen a lot of lorries taking the furniture and belongings of the German officials who were evacuating Warsaw. I believe two days before the uprising started, even the Gestapo left."

On July the 27th the Russians reached the Vistula River, sixty-five miles south of Warsaw, and the next day pushed to within ten miles of the city. On July the 29th, the Russians broadcast in Polish to Warsaw: "The hour of action has arrived."

Bokiewicz: We were exhilarated because at, at last we could fight the Germans openly.

Slawinski: Teenagers and young people were, you know, definitely trying to get at the Germans for, for the atrocities they committed.

Szejbal: At the beginning, was very exciting. We were talking about three days, five days. The uprising would be over and we shall be free.

Slawinski: We heard the Russian cannons across the Vistula River and we thought that it was a question of hours, rather than days, that they will come to Warsaw, and we wanted to establish our state and institutions before they came.

Balinska: But at the same time, alarming news was reaching Warsaw that the Red Army had brutally put down a similar uprising in the city of Vilnius or Wilno, and that the Soviet secret police were executing members of the Polish underground army.

Martinowa: I was against taking to arms because I was perfectly sure that the Russian army, they never come to help uprising. They were waiting 'til the German will finish the population of Warsaw.

Slawinski: We thought that they couldn't do it in an important place like Warsaw, they just couldn't. We thought that our allies, Western allies, would put pressure on them.

Balinska: It was precisely this debate, just how much the British and the Americans would lean on Stalin, that was dividing the Polish government back in London. While the Prime Minister was frantically pressing for the rising, the Polish Commander-in-Chief, while not expressly forbidding it, sent a warning to Warsaw. "An armed rising," he wrote, "would be devoid of political sense, causing needless victims." It was an ambiguous message. The Warsaw Poles had effectively been left to decide for themselves.

Nowak-Jezioranski: Because of all these quarrels and conflicts in London, the centre of decision was shifted from London to Warsaw, and frankly, the people in Warsaw were not well informed about international political situation. They still believed that the West when faced with reality will definitely resist any attempt by the Soviets to dominate Poland and other countries of Eastern Europe, and it was a completely false premise."

Balinska: The first of August dawned a beautiful sunny day. The message had gone out that the rising would start in the afternoon at five. Groups of 'fighters' - young men and women, 46,000 in all - made their way across the city to designated meeting points.

Taborski: It's 5 o'clock. Well, every day at 5pm, which is the time of the zero hour when the uprising broke, this recording of the Mokotov march is played in the clock tower.

This is the Park Dreszera where we assembled on the first day of the uprising and we realized just how few arms we had. For a squad of 14 people, we got one pistol, two grenades and two Molotov cocktails each. The feeling of great elation gave way to disappointment and unease.

Battle for Warsaw: The first day didn't go at all well for the Warsaw Poles. The German garrison commander had known the timing of the uprising before most of the participants.

Slawinski: The artillery which was heard more so at the beginning of the uprising, the German/Soviet front, was very very loud, and Soviet aircraft was very active against the Germans. When the uprising started, all aerial activity somehow ceased. We were really puzzled by it and then the artillery fire - you could hear it less and less and less until it disappeared altogether and we were a bit shocked by it because we were banking on the Soviet army to enter Warsaw in the first or second day of the uprising. It appeared that they withdrew. We couldn't hear them at all. So what are we going to do? We haven't got enough arms and ammunition, and nobody's coming to help us. We are left on our own.

Balinska: Nevertheless, the insurgents did capture three major positions including Warsaw's historic Old Town district, 50 square miles in all, and for a few days, until the Germans launched their offensive, these districts became oases of freedom.

Amos: I'm Deborah Amos. You're listening to Red Runs the Vistula, the story of the Warsaw Uprising. Just ahead, the first exciting victories give way to a Nazi onslaught.

Zofia Nowiak: There was a dead silence for a while, and then suddenly they started to cry and scream. And that was the beginning of the hell.

Amos: Our program continues in just a moment, from American Public Media.

Part 2

Amos: You're listening to Red Runs the Vistula, a documentary from American RadioWorks and the BBC. I'm Deborah Amos. In 1944, the citizens of the Polish capital, Warsaw, rose up against the Nazi soldiers occupying their city. And they succeeded for a time. Maria Balinska continues our story.

Balinska: Exhilaration was the main emotion in the early days of the uprising. After almost five years of Nazi oppression, the citizens of Warsaw revelled in their new freedoms.

Battle for Warsaw: And we even had one or two concerts organised by private citizens. One particular one I remember was in a private, beautiful sitting room, typical before the war type thing still somehow survived, and the elderly lady was playing a lot of Chopin music.

Niedzielska-Kepinska: The old town was absolutely free. It was a, it was a fantastic feeling because there were Polish flags everywhere, people were on the street. Everybody was kissing each other and we are free. There were, there were no Germans there.

Nowak-Jezioranski: People were spontaneously building barricades, throwing all the beautiful furniture, beautiful antiques, pianos, completely crazed. And that was very infectious.

Balinska: Average age 19, the young men and women preparing to fight had graduated through the ranks of the Scout movement, which from 1939 onwards, had become a clandestine battle school for patriotic young saboteurs and artillery officers. Youth, and a nave belief in their leaders, gave the insurgents confidence and bravado.

Bokiewicz: I saw a young man in front of me, and in front of him there was, there was a German soldier who was armed and that young man produced a bottle of beer, and stuck the bottle of beer in the German's back and demanded him to surrender his gun, and he did. When I saw that, of course I ran in the opposite direction very quickly.

Slawinski: My father and my mother, they knew that I'm involved in something, but they didn't treat it like it was anything very serious. You know, after all, I was only 15, nearly 16, but I had to tell my father that I'm going to fight. And in a sort of roundabout way, I, I disclosed this as far as I could to my father and he laughed at me and said, 'What do you mean? You're so young, you cannot get involved in anything serious.' I got a bit, you know, agitated about it so I opened a small packet, which I opened and inside there were six white and red arm bands with WP which means Polish Army, the Polish eagle and the number 101. That was the allocated number of our home army platoon. My father just couldn't believe his eyes. 'You're really in it?'

Balinska: As for the Germans, to begin with, they were taken aback by the strength of the resistance. Hasso Krappe, an officer with the 19th Panzer division, was sent into Warsaw at the beginning of the Uprising.

Krappe: As we arrived, a motorcycle messenger came and requested that an officer from our division reports to headquarters. That was me. By telephone I was a connected to the 9th regiment. And I heard rifle fire from outside. Bullets were flying through the window and I had to hide with the phone under the table. Later, a Polish newspaper wrote, 'German officer hiding under the table.'

Balinska: Poles communicated to the outside world by radio. Each broadcast began with a Chopin piano concerto followed by news from Warsaw, which was often read by John Ward, a British pilot who had escaped from a German prisoner of war camp. In those early days, "Radio Lightening" or in Polish, "Blyskawica" was able to report some notable successes.

Blyskawica: This is Warsaw calling, Warsaw calling, Warsaw calling all the free nations. Of all our achievements -

Balinska: (translates) This is Warsaw calling. Of our achievements in the past day the most important has been the taking of the building occupied by the police headquarters.

Balinska: And on day two of the uprising, the Poles captured the power station and the main post office.

Bokiewicz: Our task was to cover the attack on the post office with our machine gun against the German bunker which was at the corner of the post office. Our Polish units made a frontal attack from, I think, two or three sides. The battle raged through the night and the post office was taken. Maybe I shouldn't say that, but I was a philatelist at the time, so it was very - I had a private interest in the matter as well. The next day, I went to the post office because I was looking for the stamps, and I found quite a lot of sheets of German occupation stamps, and I hid them in the cellar, but it was of no use because I had to leave them in Warsaw.

Balinska: On the same day, a group of Poles in the so-called Zoska battalion captured two German tanks and drove them into action against their former owners. Their target was 'Gesiowka' or the Goose Farm, a transit camp for European Jews on the site of the former Warsaw Ghetto. On August 5, Waclaw Micuta, a Polish tank commander, charged the wall of the camp.

Micuta: Well, we got in front of us the wall with pieces of metals to reinforce you know the wall and he gave the full speed and our tank started to climb up, climbed up, climbed up, get to the top and whoomph, fell on the other side. It was 40 tons of metal. It was an exceedingly emotional thing because a few hundred of Jews, when they realised that this is not the death but the liberation, you can imagine, you know, emotion of those people. And my God, you know, they came to the tank, and they embrace us, and some of them kneel you know. And I saw a group of Jews, prisoners, you know, funny dressers, you know, and there was one of these men and there was one with perfect Polish and a perfect Polish military language. He said [Polish] he said attention, [Polish] and then, you know, he said, "Lieutenant, I present you Jewish battalion ready to fight."

Battle for Warsaw: The German garrison seemed content merely to contain the Poles. No counter-offensive was begun to dislodge them, though when news of the uprising reached Hitler, he ordered that the Warsaw Poles be wiped out and their city razed to the ground as an example to the rest of occupied Europe. Heinrich Himmler, his SS Chief, was given the task, but all this was unknown to the Warsaw defenders as they enjoyed a respite in the warm August sunshine. Equally unknown to them, days before the uprising began, Hitler had decided definitely to defend Warsaw and was rushing there some of his best remaining units. After waiting so long, the die was being cast for the Poles.

Balinska: The head of the SS, Heinrich Himmler, had ordered the mobilisation of a special division under the command of the notorious Erich von den Bach. So at the same time as the Zoska battalion were liberating the Jews, Von den Bach's men were launching a full scale attack on the Vola district in the western suburbs.

Jaszczol: Germans ask all the civilians from all the block of flats to come down to the street, and it didn't matter whether it was small children or grown-up parents or old people, they all had to come down. They heard machine guns' shots. When those machine guns were getting nearer and nearer, my younger brother sort of tried to shield my father. Well, the German took him by the back of his neck and throw him to the ground and shot my father. Not only him, all the other people as well. Thousands of people were killed, more than 20, if not more in that one day, in those few hours. We did not realise that they are not only shooting the people, that they not only burned the houses, but also the human bodies. Even if some of them were still alive, they just burned everything. Next day, so that was the 6th of August, we couldn't breathe because although it was a beautiful sunny day, it was complete darkness. The smoke was so dense.

Balinska: An estimated 35,000 people were shot by the SS in Warsaw that day. But in other parts of the city, in the Old Town for instance, people were unaware of the massacre. Each district of Warsaw had become a fortress almost totally separated from its neighbour by barricades and enemy lines.

Jaszczol: At one stage I went to the Old Town. They were celebrating because they already managed to liberate this Old Town, so they were singing and dancing. They didn't know what went on in Vola. They didn't. We were young, we were very young, between the age of 16 and 20, 22 and we were full of life and full of energy and we were uplifted by the fact that we are doing something, that we are fighting for our freedom. There were times when we were dancing if we get the chance or singing, or joking with each other. I think that, that was the part of us which wanted to live.

Balinska: On day 13, the fighters in the Old Town captured yet another tank, but this time it was not accompanied by singing and dancing.

Niedzielska-Kepinska: I was in the gatekeeper's flat and in his kitchen, and I was preparing soup for the boys which were fighting on the barricades and suddenly my colleague came to me and said Hanna, come, come because our boys brought the tank. It's outside our gate, so I said alright I will come, I will come, I have to finish the soup.

Nowaik: We were standing on the balcony. I have seen the little tank coming towards us, and on this tank there was a little boy with a little Polish flag on the top. There were quite a lot of people around him and everybody was singing and shouting because this tank was moving and the Polish crew was in it.

Niedzielska-Kepinska: The tank was packed with explosives and they were timed.

Nowiak: There was such a terrible explosion and when we looked down, all the square was littered with the bodies.

Niedzielska-Kepinska: On the street, when I went out finally from the house, it was so slippery because it was the remnants, blood, everything mixed together. It was a carnage.

Nowiak: There was dead silence for a while, and then suddenly they started to cry and scream. And that was the beginning of the hell.

Battle for Warsaw: The fight was going from one house to another. At one point, in Cathedral of St. John, Germans were at the great altar and our troops were at the choir. Literally, we were fighting from one room to another.

Balinska: For the German officer Hasso Krappe, this was a new type of warfare.

Krappe: My division moved on, constantly under the fire coming from houses. We couldn't see people shooting at us. As we found out, the Polish resistance movement were civilians with red and white armbands. Some had uniforms, some even had German uniforms and German steel helmets. Imagine how it feels if somebody shoots at you from a window, and you know this person stands inside the room, but you can't see anything. It was a very uncomfortable situation.

Balinska: Hitler's response to the Warsaw uprising was unequivocal. Every inhabitant of the city was to be killed, and every house blown up or burned down.

Battle for Warsaw: Cellars were turned into hospitals and the resources of doctors and nurses were soon being stretched to the limit. Drugs and dressings were in short supply, and linen bandages quickly gave way to paper ones.

Niedzielska-Kepinska: They were lying on the floors, they were lying on the steps, they were mostly burnt from the tank and they really, there was nothing we could do. There was absolutely nothing we could do. When you entered the hospital, the stench was terrible of rotting flesh, so they were just dying like, like flies. And, and this is where the Germans shot them all when they entered.

Zanussi: I was five years old and we got to the hospital, and it is very close to the centre of Warsaw, and we didn't know that this hospital was under control of the Ukrainian forces, of General Vlasov. They were allies of Hitler's and they were extremely cruel and they were killing people, and I have seen it as a child many times. They were killing patients, they were killing wounded people, and I remember them cutting women's stomachs on the maternity ward, and my mother was trying to prevent me from seeing children who were taken from - but I have seen the dead bodies of infants thrown on the floor.

Balinska: And then the Nazis began to attack from the skies, pounding Warsaw mercilessly with their most modern and most deadly weapons.

Slawinski: One of the worst really frightening were the use of rockets. Germans had a multiple eight rocket launcher. First of all, you heard a dreadful noise, this oolh-wuhrr wuhrr a few seconds afterwards there was an explosion. You were hit by a rocket which contained an early version of napalm. That means everything burned, even the asphalt in the road burned.

Archive tape: The Germans meant business, and even brought up their giant mortar 'Thor' to add its pennyworth against the hapless defenders of the Old Town. Used previously only in the siege of Sebastopol, it had to be fired from one and a half miles away. Each of its shells weighed more than two tons. And they could penetrate a hundred inches of concrete.

Part 3

Amos: We continue now with Red Runs the Vistula, the Warsaw Uprising of 1944, a documentary from American RadioWorks and the BBC. I'm Deborah Amos. In the final part of our program, Maria Balinska explains that by September of 1944, the radio messages from Warsaw to the West were becoming desperate. The Polish resistance was begging the Allies for food and ammunition.

Balinska: Throughout much of August and September, allied pilots flew the precarious journey from Brindisi in southern Italy to Warsaw to drop supplies. Losses were heavy and many planes were shot down before even reaching the capital. There were 19 airdrops throughout August, but to many Poles, it felt like a meagre reward for their war efforts on the Western Front. William Fairly, a South African pilot, spoke to Radio New Zealand in 1982.

William Fairly: There was no difficulty in finding Warsaw, it was visible was from 100 kilometres away. The city was in flames and with so many huge fires burning it was almost impossible to pick up the target marker flares.

Balinska: American Air Force pilot Ian Miller described the operation in a 1944 recording.

Ian Miller: Flak over Warsaw itself was heavy. We dropped canisters containing guns, ammunition, and medical supplies by parachute.

Fairly: Permission was sought from the Russians to run a form of aerial shuttle service. That is, our aircraft could fly to Warsaw, drop their supplies, and carry on the short distance to a Russian airfield. Had this permission been granted, the assistance to Warsaw would have been much easier and greater. Some Allied pilots with damaged planes and malfunctioning instruments strayed over Russian-held territory and were fired on by our so-called allies, the Soviets.

Balinska: Stalin was up to no good. In the eastern city of Lublin the Soviets had set up an acting administration consisting of Poles loyal to Moscow. Back in London, Churchill was putting pressure on Stalin for permission to use Russian airfields. But he was also having to push Roosevelt to cooperate. The American president didn't want to upset Stalin. Nevertheless, on August 20, they made a joint appeal, recreated here by a BBC announcer.

Churchill (read by John Tusa): We are thinking of world opinion if anti-Nazis in Warsaw are in effect abandoned. We hope that you will drop immediate supplies and ammunitions to the patriot Poles of Warsaw, or will you agree to help our planes in doing it very quickly? The time element is of extreme importance.

Balinska: But the appeal was brushed aside by Stalin two days later. On the 25th of August, Churchill proposed to Roosevelt that they would send a toughly worded message to Stalin that would put him on the spot. "We propose to send aircraft unless you directly forbid it." At this, Roosevelt gave up.

Roosevelt: I do not consider it would prove advantageous to the long-range general war prospect for me to join with you in another proposed message to Stalin. But I have no objection to your sending such a message if you consider it advisable to do so.

Balinska: Most of the airdrops that did make it were falling outside Warsaw into the Kampinos forest. By the end of August, people in the Old Town were starving.

Slawinski: We ate all the horses, then all the dogs and cats, pigeons of course. And then there was nothing left. We were eating dogs, very nice meat, dog, you know. And it was becoming sort of more and more hopeless. It was. We knew that nobody will come to our rescue.

Martinowa: The main problem was water. Being just a few steps from the, from the river, we couldn't get it because it was under such a terrific fire, so every bucket of water it was at least one or two lives. Can you imagine the wounded who are dreaming about a cup of water?

Balinska: There was to be one more glimmer of hope. Finally, Churchill's pressure on Stalin bore fruit. On September 10, the Soviets launched an assault on Warsaw and offered help to the Poles. They flew airdrops and even took on the German dive-bombers, suffering huge losses in the process. The Soviet gesture had come too late and amounted to too little. But eight days later, Stalin did decide to allow allied planes to land on his airfields and refuel.

And so, on September 18, the sky above Warsaw was filled with American Flying Fortresses. For a brief moment the Poles thought salvation was at hand. The leader of the uprising, Boor Komorowski recalled it in his memoirs, read here by the BBC.

The day was sunny and fine with a cloudless sky. It was the sound of cheering and shouts of joy on all sides which told me that the aircraft were coming over. The whole sky was filled with planes flying in at a great height from the west. They left behind long trails of white dots. It took a long moment to realise that the dots were parachutes.

Balinska: Parachutes of food and ammunition and not, as fervently hoped for, parachutes carrying the soldiers of the Polish 5th Airborne Division. One by one, the insurgent strongholds were collapsing.

Battle for Warsaw: Those who could, escaped through the sewers to Polish positions elsewhere in the capital despite the Germans harassing them en route by dropping hand grenades down manholes, and even injecting explosive gas.

Balinska: The city's sewers provided an escape route for thousands, fighters and civilians alike.

Taborski: This is the street where I went into the sewers from. This is a manhole. This is a manhole which when taken off, leads you right down to it. I get the real feeling now, the stench, the, the dirt. It takes me back. Crowds of people were pushing in all directions. The place was full of noises. It was very strange, very dark and felt like a road to hell.

Balinska: Often the Poles got lost and emerged from the sewers thinking they were beyond the battle zone, only to be shot by waiting Germans.

Taborski: They put us against the wall. SS man with a machine gun was lying, lying down waiting to give us shots against that wall until something happened like in an old play where the hero is to be executed but an officer cames on a foaming horse waving a piece of paper with the pardon. This time it was, it was an SS man on a motorcycle, but also waving a piece of paper that a surrender has been signed and that they were to take us prisoner.

Battle for Warsaw: The end came on October the 4th. First, the Germans allowed the civilians to leave. Their bewildered faces told the story.

Bokiewicz: When we went out of Warsaw, all those ruins, I felt like being born again because I was still alive.

Taborski: I just couldn't believe my eyes, that after two months in hell, we are now walking through green fields where cows are grazing, quite a different world to one where we had been playing at war, I must say. And then, two SS men watched us, not with hatred but with interest, and then I saw a German soldier standing there looking at us, weeping.

Krappe: Thousands walked out of the cellars, women, children, carrying a backpack or a little case. They had nothing left and they all had to leave the city. The Polish resistance fighters were totally depressed because they lost. For myself, I have to say, I could not understand that this uprising was happening. How could they possibly think that the Russians would have helped them? Even we Germans said, "Why should the Russians help the Polish people?"

Battle for Warsaw: The Polish commander, General Boor Komorowski, came to his German opposite number's headquarters to complete the surrender formalities. He was offered a meal, which he clearly needed, but which he refused. Surprisingly the Germans allowed the Poles to surrender honourably. 9,000 Polish soldiers surrendered. Another 3,500 preferred to escape Warsaw to continue the struggle elsewhere. The hopeless fight had lasted ten long weeks. It had cost the lives though of nearly a quarter of a million Poles. Once the remaining citizens had been driven from the city, Warsaw was systematically destroyed. Hitler was determined it should never rise again.

Balinska: On Hitler's express orders, Warsaw was razed to the ground. Its work done, the German army withdrew. By now, the city was empty of people, empty of life. Warsaw was a pile of rubble. It was a monumental tragedy, but was it a tragedy that could have been avoided?

This is a question that has haunted one man for years. In July, one month before the rising, a handsome young courier, Jan Nowak-Jezioranski, left Warsaw for London to find out exactly what help the Poles could expect from the Allies. In 1984, he told BBC Radio what he heard from the British, and how he reacted.

Nowak-Jezioranski: The Polish, request of the Polish government to send a British mission to Poland, was rejected and it was rejected only for one reason: this is not our area. We cannot operate our British military mission behind the German front in the East.

Balinska: The British said no to Nowak because of a tacit agreement Churchill, Roosevelt, and Stalin had signed up to a year earlier, in Teheran, that Poland would be in the Soviet Union's sphere of influence.

Nowak-Jezioranski: I did come absolutely convinced that Poland is lost. I had access to classified documents and I knew that whatever the final outcome of war, in other words wherever Russians will be on the last day of war, Poland will be occupied only by the Soviet troops and Stalin will be able to do whatever he likes.

Balinska: But when Nowak returned to Warsaw in the summer of 1944, he realised that the military leaders there had a disaster on their hands whatever they did.

Nowak-Jezioranski: They were in a no-win position. If they would simply issue orders, don't fight, be passive, allow the Germans to retreat peacefully, the orders will be disobeyed and there will be a spontaneous outburst of fighting, chaotic, with the leadership later accused by the Soviets of betrayal. The consequence would be that this great unity that was forged in the underground movement, and Poland never had such a tremendous unity of people, would be destroyed and that the morale of people would be undermined, and they would be facing this new bad period of our history, disunited, and the government which would be imposed on us would be in some way legitimised.

Balinska: Many Poles believe it was this unity, a unity that survived the Warsaw uprising and the subsequent decades of communist rule, that strengthened Poland's spirit of independence and gave inspiration to Solidarity, the 1980s independent trade union movement, which would play a crucial role in shattering the Soviet bloc. But there are also many who now question the decision of Warsaw's generals.

Slawinski: I think that the decision to go against all odds, maybe it wasn't the right one from the point of view that you had to make that sacrifice which was far too big, but this is in the nature of the Poles. Then they keep fighting losing battles. That was one of them.

Taborski: They had all been pumped by romantic poets who said that you can win by the sheer weight of your spirit.

Niedzielska-Kepinska: So many of my friends, so many of young people died. The best, the most patriotic, the most courageous, the most selfless, they died. Who will replace them?

Balinska: On October 2, the surviving members of the Home Army became prisoners of war and were taken to camps in Germany. In January 1945, the Soviet armies marched into Warsaw and three years later, a fully-fledged Stalinist regime was installed. The insurgents had lost their capital and their country. For American RadioWorks, I'm Maria Balinska.

Amos: For the next 45 years, until communism fell in 1989, the commemorations of these extraordinary 63 days were strained. No one denied that there had been a heroic uprising of the people of Warsaw against the Nazis, but there was never any official mention of the fact that their fraternal ally, the Soviet Union, had stood by as the city was destroyed.

Subject: Oswald's jew handler

Re: VNN's feature about Final Judgment, Chapter 4, by Michael Collins Piper, re: Piper's mentions of John F. Kennedy and G. L. Rockwell: granted, this is only loosely on-topic, but nonetheless, it looks like Lee Harvey Oswald's handler was a Jew:

[quoting G. L. Rockwell]: "The 'Fair Play for Cuba Committee' now claims that Oswald's activities in New Orleans were in no way authorized by the Committee. Yet there are six lengthy letters from Oswald to the Committee, which were published in the New York Times of December 9, 1963, p. 38, which make it perfectly obvious to anyone of normal intelligence that Oswald was working hand-in-glove with the 'Fair Play for Cuba Committee'. The head of the 'Fair Play for Cuba Committee,' Mr. V. T. Lee, (Jewish name, Tappin) has announced that he 'lost' or 'mislaid' the carbon copies of the answers which he wrote to all these letters of Oswald's." [end of quote, more here: ]

One has to wonder what the real story of JFK's assassination is. Indeed, why did a Marine Corps sharpshooter [Oswald] use a cheap, Italian bolt-action rifle in what was, to him, a very important assassination? Italian rifles of that type are junk. Why did Oswald not use a much-more-reliable and far-more-accurate Mauser, which were a dime a dozen [until the 1968 gun control act was passed]? That whole JFK matter gefilte fish.

Subject: ADL Report

Like ground beef in a pan, I thought, reading the "report," whether or not it is real. Breaking up big chunks into smaller ones, separating classes, genders, even individuals - right down to any two white men speaking privately must be regarded as the precursor of a hate crime.

I hope Greg has more for us soon.

Subject: ADL's "Breaking the Cycle of Hate" report

It doesn't matter whether or not "Breaking the Cycle of Hate: The Final Stage" is a forgery.

It uses the same language and the same anti-White concepts as other documents known to be written and published by jews.

Here is how I found out about this.

A few years ago I went to a movie theater in an inner-city neighborhood of south Minneapolis, not far from a sizeable negro neighborhood. The immediate surroundings of the theater were still all-White, as far as I could tell, but it's the kind of a neighborhood that Whites are starting to avoid.

After the movie I went around the corner to a little newsstand.

There I saw a magazine called "Race Traitor."

Its motto is "Treason to whiteness is loyalty to humanity."

It was the first time I'd ever heard of it. It was an amazing little publication.

It called for the disappearance of the White race. And there it sat, wide open to public view.

Later, I searched for information about its editor, Noel Ignatiev.

He is identifiable at a glance as an Ashkenazi jew.

He has several academic appointments at various colleges in the Boston area.

None of these institutions cause him any trouble for editing a publication calling for the destruction of Whites.

Searching further, I was amazed to see that George Soros, the world-famous jewish financier, openly funded Noel Ignatiev's efforts at the elimination of Whites. Also, I found that Soros funds gun control initiatives.

So the reasonably obvious purpose of Soros's gun control efforts is to make it easier to eliminate Whites.

Alex Linder has now reported receiving what may be an internal ADL report, ""Breaking the Cycle of Hate: The Final Stage."

A concept used in this report is identical to a concept used in "Race Traitor" magazine: "abolishment of the social construct known as 'whiteness.'"

Here is the context of this phrase in "Breaking the Cycle of Hate: The Final Stage."

"We must outlaw the white race by delegitimzing, criminalizing, and, ultimately, eliminating the conditions under which it reproduces. In the elimination of the white race lies our only long-term guarantee of security. Note that this is not genocide, but abolishment of the social construct known as 'whiteness.'" This is just the same language you will see in Race Traitor magazine. Compare it with language Noel Ignatiev used at the conference "The Making and Unmaking of Whiteness," Berkeley, California, April 11-13, 1997, where he said, "When it comes to abolishing the white race, the task is not to win over more whites to oppose "racism"; there are "anti- racists" enough already to do the job. The task is to gather together a minority determined to make it impossible for anyone to be white."

Every White man, woman and child needs to know about Race Traitor magazine and George Soros's connection with gun control and efforts to eliminate Whites.

So pass this message along.

And be sure to download and save the information at the above links.

"[I]n a country mostly free of the dangers of anti-Semitism and where Jewish political, social and economic power is relatively secure, Jewish organizations have failed to answer the fundamental challenge of the era: Why be Jewish?"

Where are the Jews?

American Jewry's major organizations gather next week for their annual assembly amid growing criticism about their lack of ideological focus, institutional coordination and financial prudence.

Regular readers of Jewish newspapers in America could be forgiven for thinking that the most pressing issues facing Jews in the United States are how much money the United Jewish Communities (UJC) federation umbrella group should send overseas, whether or not the chairman of the World Jewish Congress has a secret slush fund in Switzerland, and what groups such as the Anti-Defamation League, the Union for Reform Judaism and the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations have to say about the Gaza Strip withdrawal plan.

Though these are the issues that fill the front pages of many Jewish newspapers around the country, the vast majority of American Jews care little about them - assuming they're even aware of them at all. Yet despite their apparent irrelevance to the average American Jew, whether by design or by default, the funds these national Jewish organizations command, the historical role many of them have played, and the communal functions they have assigned to themselves give them a prominent role in American Jewish life.

They influence everything from US foreign policy to programming at local Jewish community centers to what rabbis choose to talk about in their synagogue sermons.

Next week, these groups will take center stage in Cleveland, Ohio, at the largest annual gathering of Jewish federations and community organizations in North America, the UJC's General Assembly. Organizational officials likely will talk about their past successes and some of their plans for the coming year, with more than a little handshaking and backroom schmoozing. But some people from inside and outside the Jewish organizational world say this year's GA, which coincides with the 350th anniversary of Jewish life in America, will be a waste of time if it does not address the principal problem of the American Jewish organizational establishment: that there is no master plan for the future of American Jewry.

Presbyterian Church Receives Arson Threat

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Presbyterian Church (USA) has stepped up security at its headquarters and advised its churches to be on alert after receiving a letter threatening arson attacks because of its policies in the Middle East.

The handwritten letter, received Wednesday at the church's Louisville headquarters, threatened to set churches on fire while people were inside in retaliation for "anti-Israel and anti-Jewish attitudes," Jerry L. Van Marter, director of the Presbyterian news service, said Saturday. The letter had no return address, but it was postmarked from Queens, N.Y., Van Marter said. The letter gave a Nov. 15 deadline for the church to reverse its Middle East policies, he said.

Church officials are taking the threat seriously and have contacted law enforcement authorities in Kentucky and New York, Van Marter said. The FBI is investigating the letter with help from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and local authorities, FBI spokesman David Beyer said.

Van Marter said the church has received thousands of letters, e-mails and phone calls since the church's General Assembly decided in June to begin the process of selective divestment from corporations supporting the Israeli occupation of Gaza and the West Bank. Although many letters have been angry, Van Marter said this was the first to threaten violence. The 2.4 million-member Presbyterian Church has 11,200 congregations in the United States and Puerto Rico.

ABC 20/20 Report Says Matthew Shepard Killed During Robbery Not Anti-Gay Hate Crime

NEW YORK, November 12, 2004 ( - The 1998 Matthew Shepard murder, portrayed as a hate crime because Shepard was homosexual, was in fact a bungled burglary and not motivated by hate, according to an ABC 20/20 investigation.

Shepard's murder set in motion a drive to promulgate new laws to protect homosexuals from discrimination, including the so-called hate crimes laws Bill C-250 in Canada, and a similar proposed law in the US.

20/20 interviewed the killers, Aaron McKinney and Russell A. Henderson for their exposé, which revealed that the two had made a bargain with the court that they would not speak to the media in exchange for an agreement sparing them the death penalty. They are both serving consecutive double life sentences.

Shepard was a college student beaten to death by McKinney and Henderson in Laramie, Wyoming, in 1998.

"The murder of Matthew Shepard was and is a heinous and vicious crime," ABC News spokesman Jeffrey Schneider told the New York Post. "Exploring and re-examining the facts around that murder in a very thoughtful and in-depth way is the very essence of responsible journalism. This new information in no way diminishes the importance of the national conversation that took place after Matthew Shepard's murder."

The segment is scheduled to air Nov. 26.

Subject: books on jews producing pop culture

I'm now reading The Jewish Century by Yuri Slezkine. This is one of a number of books dealing with Jews and popular American culture. In addition to the above book, I've also got Jews and the American Soul: Human Nature in the 20th Century by Andrew R. Heinze.

A sure winner in this group appears to be The Jews of Prime Time by David Zurawik. He has had superb access to the Jews creating TV products for the last generation (I can't wait to read his interviews with Norman Lear!)

From past experience, I suspect that as a Jew, Zurawik will have the usual glaring blind spots, the first being an inability to even consider how Gentiles might feel about their portrayals on TV. That so many images mock or subvert the Gentile order seems only natural to these Jews, even praise worthy. After all, they are operating from a "culture of critique" perspective.

Finding "The Jews of Prime Time" so good, I've also ordered the following:

Entertaining America : Jews, Movies, and Broadcasting, J. Hoberman

Something Ain't Kosher Here: The Rise of the "Jewish" Sitcom," Vincent Brook

The Haunted Smile: The Story of Jewish Comedians in America, Lawrence J. Epstein

Subject: message to bushy supporters

I'm tired of everyone tripping over themselves to speak as politely as possible about you people. I understand that those of us who write articles and publish websites are supposed to maintain a certain air of politeness, in order to preserve the credibility of our message, but I've had enough of that idea when it comes to you. In a nutshell, you are the dumbest group of people I've ever seen. You display the most mindless, simple, and gullible attributes of any group I've ever had the displeasure of knowing. In my opinion, you people are an embarrassment to this country, and an embarrassment to those of us who are capable of forming an opinion by the use of critical thought, reason, and common sense, none of which you have.

Since I'm writing this to the dumbest group of people alive, I feel like I should be writing it with a big jumbo crayon and drawing lots of pictures, so your simple minds can process the message. If I knew how to use Macromedia, I'd just go ahead and make a fun little cartoon video for you, rather than counting on you to be able to read and digest the English language. The really sad part of your existence is that you don't even know how ignorant you really are. That's really scraping the bottom of the proverbial barrel, when you're ignorant of your ignorance. I guess that makes you doubly ignorant. Life must be total bliss for you.

What really pisses me off is how you get that "deer in the headlights" look when the rest of us are trying desperately to educate you. When we've graciously presented you with a mountain of facts, you choose instead to bury your head deeply up your ass. What the hell is that supposed to do? We've tried to see things from your point of view, but we couldn't get our heads that far up our asses. How can such a large group of people be so afraid of facing the truth? The truth isn't scary. Well, by now it's probably scary, since you've been so easy to snowball for so long and you're so far behind in learning the truth. You have a long way to go to erase all the fairy tales that you've fallen for, and you know what? I'm tired of wasting my time and energy on you.

I shouldn't say that I'm pissed off about your idiocy, because that attitude is really starting to fade for me. It's beginning to change into a sort of "humorously entertained by you people" kind of thing. It's painfully obvious that we've done just about all that we can do to educate you, and you still don't have a clue, and you probably never will. These days, for me anyway, it's almost funny to watch how easily you're misled by George W. Bush. If it closes by saying "I'm George W. Bush, and I approved this message", you don't even give it a second thought. To you, that ending alone makes it gospel. Rather than letting myself lose any more sleep over your simpleness, I see the humor in it, and I pity you.

The only thing I can come up with to explain your baffling behavior is that maybe you actually do know that you've been supreme suckers for so long, and by now you're too embarrassed to admit it, so you just let it ride. Now that I put that down on paper, it sounds even more plausible. But the truth is that I just don't care anymore about the "why" of your ignorance. You're ignorant, period. You're idiots, period. You're amazingly gullible, period. As Walter Cronkite used to say, "....and that's the way it is", so why fight it any longer?

Rather than wasting another breath trying to open your eyes, I'm going to put my energy into reclaiming this country. No, I'm not going to fight to reclaim it for fools like you - I'm doing it for those of us who deserve what this country used to be before your hero shit on it. You do deserve some kind of country of your own, I suppose, so why not move the whole herd of you over to Iraq, where you can enjoy your hero's brand of freedom and democracy? Talk nice to me, and maybe I'll let you have my Army flak jacket. Then again, maybe not.

Okay, I'm done even thinking about you now. You go ahead and just keep waving your flags and your bibles, and calling yourselves patriots. Truth be told, you're actually pretty funny to watch. The hard part is that the rest of the world thinks you represent all of us. It's bad enough when we have to share the title "American" with an undeserving crowd like you, but we have to endure the world's ridicule, too, because of you. That sucks for the rest of us. It sucks......and you suck.

I'm, and I approved this message.

Cut it out. ALL Jews don't promote the NWO. Many fight it. I also fight against the NWO for Palestinians. So does

The people who hate ME are totally PRO-WAR GWB fanatics who spew vile hatred. I don't know if they are Christian, but they certainly aren't Jewish. I personally use my Jewish heritage to attack the Zionist State and it's key supporter (are they one and the same now?).

A lot of Jews, naturally, get sucked in unwittingly in support of the Zionist violence. The victim mentality. Once it is set it's hard to break. Same for Republicans being the victim of Democrat Liberals, and Christians being the victim of an army of Secular Humanists they must repel. Zionist Christians give as much support to the Zionists. Some Jewish orgs say AIPAC is not Jewish, it's arms dealers.

BOOK REVIEW Spowiedz Antysemity (Confessions of a Anti-Semite)

This short essay is your ticket for a ride on the rail of post-Soviet censorship. It's not for everybody and if freedom doesn't interest you, get off at this stop.

This is about a man and his book. The study under discussion is quite unusual. In some countries it would be banned. It shows the other side of the official holocaust story. The book in question contains no slandering and/or inappropriate wordage. It does aspire to mix serious thought with humor. It's also delightful to hold/carry. It's not a thick research project and comprises a mere 130 pages. I knocked it off at one setting. A white glossy cover partly hides a picture of the author.

As for the writer, Dr. Dariusz Ratajczak, he's an exceptionally unusual fellow. Born in 1962, Dr. Dariusz has always been known as an inquisitive soul. As a trendy truth-seeker, with a talented pen, he was admired by the intelligentsia. As a young man he lectured in a major university. In addition to being respected, he was popular. Concerned with free speech, he's taken oppressed former Soviet citizens on a freedom-of-expression excursion; people have gone where they could have never dreamed. He's made youth happy. He, himself, was a portrait of health. He had a lovely wife, two kids and a dog. His world was one of sunshine.

Those in his environment have told this writer that Dariusz is a peace activist. Over and over again Slavs have declared that he's a kind, concerned, good soul. A versatile individual, Ratajczak thought that he could write about the most precarious of all subjects. In order to get his message across, he figured that he could present material by simply stating that research was done by other scholars. He lives near and has ambulated along the topic of his research (Auschwitz). Although he's an obvious expert, he made it a point to accentuate that conclusions were not necessarily infallible. He stressed that some findings were not his own. He tried not to hurt the feelings of others.

Despite his popularity, DR faced a media contrived avalanche of persecution. Anti-majority bureaucrats, who had been part of the communist nomenklatura, condemned him. Gazeta Wyborcza (Poland's New York Times) indicated that the good doctor was advancing revisionist theory; he was questioning the dogmatism of the holocaust and a persecuted people. Some Jews said he was brave. On the other hand, Zionist accusations indicated that he could be the lowest of the low, an anti-Semite.

Publishing firms stopped printing his articles, he faced a lengthy court procedure and was removed from his position in the University. Journalists, writing half truths, indicated that he could be influencing future generations. People like Dr. Ratajczak could turn the apple cart of civilization upside down. Unfortunately, as a result of scare tactics, he was unable to carry out his role as a provider for his family. He was set up as an example for others. Dariusz R. was given no forum to defend himself. Some indicated that, in some ways, he was Central Europe's version of France's Alfred Dryfuss (framed). To this writer, he appeared to be a Central European miniature of the illustrious Kevin MacDonald.*

Because of anti-free speech propaganda, Ratajczak was unable to find employment at other universities. Institutes of higher education and schools shunned him. Potential employers remarked that they would hire him if he was not such a sizzling commodity. Because DR desired to advance free speech, he had became unemployable. Now he's a third shift security guard.

To contribute to his family's economical welfare, he has sought to utilize the book trade. Unfortunately, due to monopolistic distribution policies, he had to become an unusual entrepreneur. At this writing he sells his books by contact through acquaintances.

In his first chapter he speaks about not repenting. Ratajczak refers to his unethical treatment by the bureaucracy at the University of Opole. On page 10 he mentions how his plight was created; he published a politically incorrect book. It was entitled Dangerous Subjects (Tematy Niebezpieczne). The text implied that the number of 6 million Jews dying in WWII is open to question. He then indicated that several nations of the world were decimated and suffered to a greater extent than publicized.

He documents that 16 years ago accepted info insisted that over 5 million people were murdered in Auschwitz-Birkenau. He goes on to write that today the Auschwitz museum claims 1,100,000 as the correct figure. He states that this number problem proves historians have not been given autonomy.

According to Ratajczak, the problem is acute and detrimental to mankind's intellectual freedoms. Yet, while most have a fear of Zionistic influence, some are willing to fight against evil. For example, a Mr. Jan Stopczyk, a fellow who was in Auschwitz, tried to protect Ratajczak. Regrettably, within 24 hours, Gazeta Wyborcza informed millions that a malicious person was employed and supported by the university system. As a result Dariusz Ratajczak, at great cost, with psychological stress, had to defend himself in a court system. Like Mr. Ernst Zundel and Prof. Al-Arian, all political cards were stacked against him. He had the same chance as a snowball in hell. His defense was that the opinions he put forth were those of other scholars. He held he had been subjected to a Soviet system; he just wanted to prove the validity of free speech, to show two sides of a coin. As a result Dr. R. not only became unemployable, but had to face kangaroo courts.

Moreover, this young, gifted scholar, liked by students, was even coerced into undergoing a psychological evaluation. It was indicated that his affair could effect the sentiments of suffering Jewish victims and (thus) world relations with Warsaw.

Entwined with the above, on page 15, Ratajczak writes about national sovereignty. He declares that the people of Europe have to select politicians that are not fearful; people who will represent national and majority interests. According to Ratajczak, the European Union is, in some ways, similar to the Soviet Union; the EU is hostile to national identity. DR notes that nowadays alien intrinsic factors are responsible for not only economic factors of nations, but (also) their image.

He then returns to the most freighting of all topics. On page 25 he articulates that at one time it was affirmed that 9 million Jews died in Aushwitz-Birkenau. It's mentioned that the figure was reduced in French and German media (from 8 to eventually 7 million). DR then refers to a Feb. 4, 1987 article in Le Monde, where the number of 5 million is confirmed. This same figure appeared in Germany's Die Welt (Sept. 23, 1995). In a popular 1991 dictionary of the French language one finds that 3.5 million Jews were killed in Auschwitz.

Ratajczak, to supplement facts, points to famous official holocaust propagandists. For example, he talks about America's Prof. Lucy Dawidowicz and her celebrated book (The War against The Jews). In what seems to be a self-serving classic, the pseudo-scholar propagated that Auschwitz was a cemetery for 2 million. She wrote this in 1975. Following political correctness, an Israeli historian, Bauer, put the number at 2 to 3 million. He did that in his fictional-like 1982 book (The History of the Holocaust).

DR's readership discovers that on Sept. 22, 1989 The Jerusalem Post accepted a number of 1.6 million. By 1995, Lech Walesa alleged it was 1.5 million. The London Daily Telegraph, The Washington Times, The Wash. Post and New York Times also stated that the number was 1.5 million. In 1983, a Mr. Wellers put the figure at 1,471,595, of which 1,352,980 were Jews. The indoctrination and proof of Zionistic self-serving influence was obvious in several capitals. In Sept. of 1989 Le Monde presented a new figure of 1,433,000.

It appears that the most dubious of all propagandists was a man slightly taller than a dwarf, a Mr. Raul Hilberg. It seems that RH made an economic killing with dishonesty to sell books and advance specific goals. For years Mr. Hilberg referred to over a million Jews and by 1985 set his number at a million. DR cites what others have said about Hilberg's books and alleged scholarship. Incredibly, despite all of his shoddy dissertations and pseudo scholarship, Hilberg is employed as a university professor. So much negativity has been written about Hilberg, in various languages, that it would suffice to refer our readers to Jurgen Graf's objective masterpiece (Giant With Feet of Clay). Ratajczak indicates that there is much to be admired about Graf, a Swiss intellectual. Mr. Graf is a unique author who not only speaks German, Russian and Polish. Unlike many scholars in Poland, he is able to have his findings reach mainstream. DR's book about those who advance pseudo scholars to enhance their own self-serving propaganda, is a classic on intellectual freedom.

Continuing, readers see that Jean-Claude Pressac, author of Auschwitz: Technique and Operation of the Gas Chambers, also reduced the figure for Auschwitz. By August 3 , 1990 the Jewish Newspaper Aufbau said that 900,000 were killed. Other authors have continued reducing the international Zionistic propaganda. From 800,000 to 700,000 to 600,000 the numbers have plummeted. Russian documentation has shown that 73,137 people died in Auschwitz. Of this number 38,031 were Jews.

DR ends the chapter about number indoctrination on page 28. He does this by stating that although numbers have been different, one thing is for sure, it was a tragedy. DR indicates compassion and empathy for Jews while arguing against Zionist influence, war, hate and propaganda.

Although much of the material in Ratajczak's study can be found in the English and Russian languages, the academic community should give this scholar much credit. Because of Ratajczak, large numbers of the Polish community, for the first time, is able to see another side of freedom (the Holocaust argument is an ideal tool).

DR also has to be admired for his diplomatic and intelligent approach. For example, he uses statistics from the International Red Cross. On page 33 he shows that 9,000 packages were delivered daily to those incarcerated in the most infamous of concentration camps. From the fall of 1943 to May 1945 1,112,000 packages were sent to prisoners. The weight of these packages was over 4,500 tons. Ratajczak gives his readership food for thought by making correlations to victimhood and refers to the Soviet Gulag and Katyn.

To show that he is being objective and not taking any sides, one of his chapters is entitled The Iraqi Banana for the Monkey. Like millions of others, he says that he is not so nave as to consider that the war in Iraq is fairregardless of international slogans. Neither did he consider the Soviet aggression of Poland, as a plan to stabilize the region. He also wonders if Washington politicians are making Poland into their Trojan Horse. He refers to the enormous neocon Trotskyite power in the USA and the effect it can have upon Europe, war and peace.

On page 39 he has a chapter entitled Amongst us Semites. DR indicates that any one who doesn't go along with the Zionist version of the Holocaust is labeled an anti-Semite. In other words those with differing views can be labeled a bad animal. The problem here is that nearly everything about Zionistic indoctrination --whether it's called Bolshevikism or Trotskyism or neoconism-- appears to be self-serving and anti-majority. For example, who are the real Semites? According to Rajtaczak, a lot of former so called facts simply lay bare transnational Zionistic power and evil indoctrination.

As for Semitic thought, DR says it all depends upon which side you are listening to. He cites several mainstream Arab radio systems and newspapers. These sources infer that the Holocaust is built with tools of propaganda, has a foundation of dishonesty and is a structure of myth. A sea of obvious documentation proves that the neocons, Zionists, or whatever you want to call them, have a terrible record and are responsible for conflict, death and international propaganda. While speaking about transnational Zionistic crimes against others, he refers to the renowned author Roger Garaudy being assailed by the French legal system.

On page 46 DR has a chapter entitled Before the Holocaust. Mr. Ratajczak indicates that the Nazi's worked with the Zionists. He writes that the Zionists were against boycotting Hitler. This was during a time when there were Jewish demonstrations all over America against Germans. Like others, Ratajczak is of the opinion that both the Nazis and Zionists sought to remove Jews from Europe and send them to the Middle East.

On page 55, under the title Confession of a Anti-Semite, it's indicated that generally people who are full blooded, half and quarter Jew, or are married to Jews, are united in ideas about anti-Semitism at least when it comes to the Goy world. According to Ratajczak, most Zionist ideas pertaining to anti-Semitism are absurd, hinder free discussion and are detrimental to the health of a free society.

He states that the most organized group in the world are Zionists. He refers to the money, taken from other nations, that keep a parasitical nation afloat, including the billions from Washington. He wonders what kind of anti-Semitic world is this, when politicians are afraid to even mention the word Jew. What kind of a world is it when the real Semites are the Arabs; when Zionists falsify history, become the moral experts, retain high positions in governments and shake media

Concerned with globalism, Dr. Ratajczak writes about nationalistic economies. As an anti-Nazi, he mentions Hitler's Germany and refers to the reduction of alcoholism and the increase in economic potential. So much work was created in Germany that they didn't have enough workers. In fact, 600,000 workers were brought in from Italy, 750,000 from Poland, about a million from France and 150,000 from Holland. In 1933 they didn't have any air force, and before the war Germany was considered a economical miracle. As for WW II Japan, Rajtarczyk notes that Washington once considered the Japanese as being worst than animals.

To verify his writings Ratajczak uses American, Asian, African and European sources. Later in his book, he spends several pages defending the Serbian nation and refers to Washington's needless killing of Serbs.

By the time the reader gets to page 78, he realizes, that much of what is publicized internationally, is due to incredible international Zionistic power within media. For example, he mentions that a huge percentage of the Iraqi people are part of a great culture and actual descendents of Babylonians. The author refers to anti-Arabic propaganda and notes that it was the Arabs that gave us algebra.

In retrospect, several pages are devoted to Jurgen Graf. Also, RD diplomatically inferred that Prof. Lucy Dawidowicz and Prof. Hilberg were unethically advanced pseudo scholars. Readers, from Chicago, to Detroit, from Grodno to Warsaw and from Toronto to Krakow, realize that victimization of Jews has been exacerbated, oscillates around myth and does not contribute towards brotherhood. In fact, Zionistic propaganda is and has been detrimental to mankind.

As for the charge of Polish anti-Semitism, it's propaganda. Jews controlled the economy of Poland and had a large representation as lawyers. Also, even though they represented less than ten percent of the citizenship, they were the majority of those controlling the illegal Communist Party. In large cities, such as Lublin, Jews were 60% of the Commies Overall Jewish loyalty was more than dubious. This is evidenced by the fact that Jews were known for laying flowers at the feet of the invading Nazi armies. They did the same thing when the Soviets invaded on Sept. 17, 1939. Jews were also notorious towards neighbors when they were turning in native Ukrainians, Latvians, Lithuanians and Belarussians to Soviet authorities.

In order to prove that contemporary law has nothing to do with morality or justice, Ratajczak spends several pages pertaining to war crime trials. Near the end of his book he refers to opportunists, traitors and cowards. He states that he was disappointed at being unable to attend a conference in Sacramento, California. He wants others to fight for freedom of speech. One gets the impression that he believes Holocaust propaganda is not only harmful for the nations of the world, but will eventually be detrimental to the Jewish community.

As a former resident of the Evil Soviet Empire, I sincerely believe that Europeans have, to some degree, taken the physical terror off their back. Under the Soviet system, the Ratajczaks of the world were often tortured and/or executed. Of course they didn't have it as bad as those in the Middle East. Nevertheless, to deny the humanitarian progress would be dubious. It's true the methods now used in Europe may break up families, stigmatize individuals and pauperize intellectuals. However, scholars are not sent to the gulag and/or killed.

If one follows the author's train of thought, it's obvious that his dissertation is really not about the Holocaust, Zionists or their wars. It's about freedom.

The book is a good read. It shows compassion and empathy for all while arguing against Zionist influence, war, hate and propaganda. It's major faults are that it's not translated (into French, German and English) and (2) it's doubtful that it will ever reach its distribution potential. Spowiedz Antysemity presents an opportunity for greater understanding. It's a book for the lovers of free speech and honest dialogue. It's for the seekers of brotherhood and eventual peace. It's author is a martyr for the cause of open communiqué.

I had never seen a picture or heard of this individual. I somehow had a mental image of a White Mexican like the president Vincente Fox. Was I in for a shock. Instead of the tall, fairly impressive looking Vincente Fox. Alberto Gonzales looks like something that just stepped out of a beanfield. He is about five foot two and is as dark and primitive looking as Pancho Villa. By what I have heard about him,( he might be smart enough to memorize legal theory but that doesn't say much), behind that visage lies the impulsive and superstitious nature of the mestizo. He would not look out of place holding an Obsidian knife in one hand and the heart of a recently sacrificed victim in the other. He and George Bush will make a wonderful team. I think I will move to Mexico where being White still means something.

Gary North's y2k hoax site was once rated in the top 100 sites on the internet. I never fell for the hoax myself but I did enjoy reading the stuff as a kind of macabre escapist fantasy. I had looked forward to the day of seeing North eat the biggest piece of crow in the history of the world. But after y2k fell flat the most amazing thing happened; morons, mostly Christians, sent North a flood of e-mails thanking North for hoaxing them. The e-mails stated that although society didn't collapse, it *might* have, which was good enough for them. North never did apologise or admit that he was a jackass. He just moved on to the Lewpus gig.

You may not be aware of the fact that Worldnetdaily were also big-time y2k hoaxers, they ran lots of scare stories and peddled a variety of *survival* supplies to suckers, this was before they became slavish supporters of Israel, obviously showing their unethical character. Michael Hoffman, a y2k critic, wrote them a nasty letter demanding they apologize for their hoaxing, they refussed and the suckers forgave and forgot.

Ed. Note: A man is never so tall as when he stoops to laugh at a Christian. When you start off believing men come back from the dead, why, Y2K is hardly a stretch, 'deed 'tis more like a contraction. As for Suckpoop Joe's, you'd have to be a saint not scam the morons that I-can-attempt-to-read that site.

The Terrible Fear That People May Exercise Their Rights

by Jeff Snyder

Jeff Snyder is the author of the Cato Institute study, "Fighting Back: Crime, Self-Defense and the Right to Carry a Handgun," and the new book, "Nation of Cowards -- Essays on the Ethics of Gun Control" (Accurate Press).

On April 10 an Ohio appellate court unanimously ruled that Ohio's ban on carrying concealed weapons, in effect since 1974, violated the people's right to keep and bear arms. The appellate court also upheld a lower court's dismissal of the prosecution of a pizza deliveryman who carried a handgun in his waistband for protection while making his deliveries. Since 1851, the Ohio Constitution has said, "the people have the right to bear arms for their defense and security." In striking down the ban, the court noted that the framers of the Ohio constitution "put the citizens' rights up front. We believe they meant what they said." This ruling is a victory for the citizens of Ohio.

A Hollywood Early Bloomer, Bringing It All Back Home

Published: November 13, 2004

On the surface, it seemed like a pretty good gig: Four months of filming at a luxury resort in the Bahamas. Salma Hayek in various states of undress. Pierce Brosnan, Woody Harrelson and Don Cheadle at your command, not to mention a gaggle of supermodels.

But for the director Brett Ratner, shooting "After the Sunset," a romantic comedy-heist movie that opened in theaters yesterday, was far from a stroll on the beach. "Each time I make a movie," he said, "it only gets scarier and scarier."

In the eight years that he has been in the film business, Mr. Ratner, 35, has directed six movies, most notably the blockbuster "Rush Hour" series starring the comedian Chris Tucker and the martial arts maestro Jackie Chan.

After the thudding receptions given "The Family Man" (2000), a romantic comedy starring Nicolas Cage, and "Red Dragon" (2002), the prequel to "The Silence of the Lambs," he has returned to the sort of fare he knows best.

The film centers on Max (Mr. Brosnan) and Lola (Ms. Hayek), a crime duo who fancy diamonds and each other. After narrowly pulling off a daring mission, they retire to a life of lobster dinners, fruity cocktails and lovely sunsets. Mr. Harrelson plays a frustrated F.B.I. agent hot on their trail.

Reviews have not been favorable. "You'd have to search high and low to find screen lovers with less romantic chemistry than Pierce Brosnan and Salma Hayek," Stephen Holden wrote in The New York Times, adding that the plot "feels like a retread of a retread."

Over a recent dinner of penne and aged shell steak, Mr. Ratner said he had struggled to find the film's tone. "If you go too far in the comedy direction, people don't believe it," he said. "If you go too far in the romance direction, it becomes overly sentimental. Usually I decide the tone early, and everything just falls into place. Basically, I created this movie in the editing room."

If Mr. Ratner had a difficult time of it, his cast could not tell. "His level of pure energy and adrenaline is unbelievable," Mr. Harrelson said. "You would think he was on drugs - good drugs."

Mr. Ratner speaks in exclamation points and manically runs his fingers through his hair, "shvitzing," as he said, as if he had just run miles on a treadmill.

Dressed in a plain black T-shirt that hugged his considerable paunch, droopy jeans and white Nikes, he looked less like a Hollywood player than like a beer 'n' bong-toting frat boy. (Mr. Ratner, without provocation, was careful to point out that he does not drink or do drugs.) A marathon name dropper, he was also careful to point out all of his high-wattage buddies, everyone from Warren Beatty and Russell Simmons to Roman Polanski and Michael Jackson.

"Michael is a big kid," said Mr. Ratner, a frequent visitor to the Neverland ranch before Mr. Jackson's legal woes. "All we do is talk about movies, watch movies and listen to records."

While his Beverly Hills estate, Hilhaven Lodge, once owned by Ingrid Bergman, is undergoing renovation, Mr. Ratner is staying with the veteran producer Robert Evans. "Living in his house is better than living in a five-star hotel," Mr. Ratner said. "He has an English butler named English, and he brings me breakfast in bed every morning."

Mr. Ratner is dating the tennis star Serena Williams. "I'm the last guy she'd thought she'd end up with," he said. "I'm a short, pudgy Jewish guy - not her type."

His tennis game has not improved. "There's nothing she hates more than playing me, and I make her play me all the time," he said. "I'm very competitive."

Mr. Ratner has spent much of his life around boldface names. He was born and raised in Miami, the son of a single mother who was a peripatetic party girl. Nile Rodgers, of the 1970's disco group Chic, gave Mr. Ratner his first super-8 camera. According to Mr. Ratner, the gangster Meyer Lansky, a family friend, sometimes walked him to school. Rules were rarely enforced; bedtimes were never consistent.

"I had the opposite of Serena's life," he said. "She had a lot of discipline. I had no discipline at all, none whatsoever. But I had my own ambition."

As a child extra on the set of Brian DePalma's "Scarface," Mr. Ratner had an epiphany. "That's when I first decided that this is what I wanted to do," he said. "I didn't want to be Al Pacino. I wanted to be Brian DePalma, the guy telling Al Pacino what to do." Because he loved "Raging Bull," he made up his mind to attend the director Martin Scorsese's alma mater, New York University, though he said he barely made it in.

It was at N.Y.U. that Mr. Ratner met Mr. Simmons, who had just founded Def Jam Records. Mr. Ratner directed all of the fledgling label's music videos, which got him more work from other labels. At the height of his video career, Mr. Ratner was working with acts like Mary J. Blige, L. L. Cool J and Madonna.

After noticing Mr. Tucker, then a little-known comedian, at a Def Comedy Jam audition, Mr. Ratner cast him in a Heavy D video. "I paid him $500 and let him keep the wardrobe," Mr. Ratner said. Mr. Tucker would return the favor when he recommended that Mr. Ratner, 26 at the time, direct "Money Talks," in which he starred with Charlie Sheen.

"Rush Hour" soon followed. The film cost $32 million to make and grossed $247 million worldwide, making Mr. Ratner and Mr. Tucker men to watch.

Mr. Ratner is the first to admit that the film was not the most original thing to come down the Hollywood pipeline. "I grew up watching 'Beverly Hills Cop' and '48 Hours,' and I made a contemporary version of those movies," he said.

He is scheduled to begin shooting "Rush Hour 3" in June.

He had hoped that a bedeviled Superman project would be his next film, but after six months of bickering with the producer Jon Peters, he resigned from the film in March 2003. "The script that I was going to do was so expensive," he said. "Usually Superman starts with him landing on earth. We were going back into the history of Krypton and the civil war that took place on the planet."

To hear Mr. Ratner tell it, he has more than enough work to keep him busy. In addition to "Rush Hour 3," he will be working on "Josiah's Canon," about a robber who plans to break into a series of Swiss banks, and "Bringing Down the House," based on the true story of a band of students from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology who took casinos in Las Vegas for millions.

If he weren't a director, Mr. Ratner said he would surely be taking orders at McDonald's. "There's no way I could do anything else," he said. "I don't know how to do anything else."

Buttiglione forms 'theo-con' campaign

Rocco Buttiglione, Italy's Europe Minister who was forced by the parliament in Strasbourg to withdraw as a candidate for EU commissioner because of his views on homosexuality, marriage and the family, has begun a campaign for Christian values in Europe.

Launching his 'theo-con' campaign [theological-conservative, as distinct from neo-con, or neo-conservative] at Milan's Teatro Nuovo last Saturday, Buttiglione said he felt like a 'Catholic witch', but that he regarded the events leading to his withdrawal as a 'gift from God'.

'If they [the European parliament] want a Catholic witch to burn, then here I am,' he said. 'Today in Europe one must be politically correct about everyone except Christians.'

Buttiglione, 56, is a friend of Pope John Paul II and father of four daughters. He is also a member of Communion and Liberation, a charismatic movement that aims to integrate faith and life through insisting on the centrality and real presence of Christ.

In a television interview this week, Buttiglione went into detail about his plans. 'I have no intention of forming a new party,' he said. 'Rather I want to build up a movement, a network of connections between all the people who have supported me and among all those who want to defend freedom.'
