The Eurasian Alternative

It is great news that Germany and Russia seem to be collaborating more actively. The Russian government is now allowing German troops to transfer equipment from Germany to Afghanistan through Russian territory. This development is the beginning of the Eurasian alternative -- a closer collaboration between various states on the Eurasian continent/landmass to form a bulwark against American hegemony. As can clearly be seen, Russia does not strive to be a puppet of the U.S. like -- for example -- England does (with obvious pleasure, like a lapdog).

An article in the Asia Times stated (referring to President Putin's support for Tehran and his refusal to curtail Russia's assistance to Iran's nuclear reactor), "After all, it is eminently arguable from a Russian standpoint that Russia received very little for supporting America after September 11. Not only did the US and then North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) troops appear in Central Asia, Georgia and Azerbaijan invited US forces to their countries to help them defend against threats, not the least of which are from Moscow." This sums up the rift between the decadent West (symbolized by America's belligerent posing and aggressive foreign policy actions) and the traditional East (symbolized by Russia as the main power on the Eurasian continent). Russia is now in the position to forge alliances with various countries of Western Europe (especially Germany and France) in order to unite against the destructive forces emanating from the North American hyper-power.

Not only does Russia take a definite stand against the rule-breaking United States, Russia's stance also symbolizes a re-awakening of the old European spirit that once again strives for self-determination -- away from the poisonous influence of McDonald's and Mickey Mouse. According to the Moscow-based online newspaper Pravda, "...the paragraph on the establishment of the European army was added in the draft EU Constitution last week." This, of course, legitimizes the idea of the EU as a super-state with overarching and nation-binding judicial institutions as well as the establishment of its own military force. Naturally, the EU has to do much more than that. Ideologically, it has to distance itself from American propaganda concepts, such as "human rights" and the hollow abstractions "freedom and democracy." The EU needs to use its newly established role as a continental power to create a counterbalance to the Atlantic land-grabbing machine.

European nations should proceed to demolish the UN, by member states simply canceling their affiliation with this political moloch. Since the UN has essentially become meaningless (in the words of Commandante Bush), this should not pose too big of an obstacle. Once the EU's role in Europe has been cemented, it can then proceed slowly to integrate itself with Russia, and thereby paving the way for the coming "Imperium Europa" (Western Europe in a strategic alliance with Russia).

With the establishment of an independent EU military, Europe will be freed from America's dictatorship within its borders. No longer would it need U.S. troops on European soil as it would be well capable of defending its own borders. Europe would also not be pressured to go along with America's wars of conquest and exploitation. For this reason alone, all American forces must be compelled to leave European soil. It is high time for the solidification of a European fortress on the holy soil that many generations bled and died for.
