All you have to do to educate your kid is buy a couple boxes of the best used books out there, and get a computer and printer so he can get the best stuff online. That will teach him the basics. From there, it all depends on his interests and talents. Public school these days can't teach people to write simple sentences, so what good is it? It is in fact a positive negative. We would be better off with no public schools than with the ones we have. People in America, history shows, were better educated before public schools.
