Revealed: the dark seam of fascism that runs through the Conservatives Investigation: The links between neo-Nazis and the Tory party are closer than anyone would have thought.

Home Affairs Editor Neil Mackay reports

MARGARET Thatcher had been ensconced in Number 10 for just a few months when Alan Clark, one of her closest allies in Parliament, met John Tyndall, the convicted leader of the National Front and the British National Party, for a light supper and a quiet chat about immigration in a discreet restaurant in the west end of London.

That secret meeting in 1980 -- the first of many low-key and closely-guarded liaisons and contacts between the Conservative Party and members of extreme right-wing groups such as the BNP -- lit the fuse of the political timebomb that blew up in the face of Iain Duncan Smith, the Tory leadership candidate. IDS was forced to sack the vice-president of his leadership campaign, Edgar Griffin, when it emerged that he was the father of the current BNP leader, Nick Griffin. Edgar Griffin's son was once convicted of inciting race hatred and his wife stood for the BNP in the June election. Ken Clarke, the Europhile rival to IDS for the Tory crown, has consistently attacked the extremist nature of the Duncan Smith camp, even going so far as to describe him as a 'hanger and flogger'.

Throughout most of the 20th century there was always a sporadic and unco-ordinated dalliance between extremists on the far right and the right-wing of the Conservatives, most notably in the form of Enoch Powell's infamous 'rivers of blood' anti-immigration speech. But it was that dinner date back in early 1980 between the flamboyant maverick Alan Clark, who went on to serve as Minister for trade and later defence, and John Tyndall that showed there was more than just a simple backroom flirtation going on between Nazis and Tories. Speaking last week, Tyndall said: 'In general I've a very low opinion of Tories now. They are gutless. Any Tory I've ever met held views far nearer to mine than they would ever let on in public.' Tyndall was jailed for incitement to race hatred, and has also been fined and jailed for having weapons including a pistol, coshes and saw-blades. He also served six months in 1962 for organising and training a neo-Nazi group.

'The Tories are terrified of wearing their true colours in public,' Tyndall added. 'In private they speak freely to you about their views on race or at meetings they whisper in your ear that they agree with X, Y and Z.' Tyndall, who was ousted as BNP leader by Nick Griffin in September 1999, claimed that around 5% to 10% of BNP membership came from rank- and-file Tory members who moved into his party. 'The only prominent politician who sat down with me was Alan Clark, it was around the time that I was leading the National Front. He contacted me and suggested that we meet.

'My wife and I met him in a restaurant in London's west end. I recall him saying something like 'there are a lot of us in the Tory party who agree with you, but are too frightened to say so'. He also claimed there were a number of other prominent Tories who tacitly supported us in parliament.' This wasn't some one-off aberration. Investigations by the Sunday Herald have uncovered a long history of covert discussions between the two parties, and other extremist groups, which stretch right up to today.

Scott McLean, who heads the BNP in Scotland, has met a number of ex-Tory party members and recruited them to the BNP. One of these former Tories was 'quite highly placed' in the party. 'We share a common ground with them on key issues that are central to both parties,' he said, 'like voluntary repatriation.' One of the most disturbing discoveries is the link between a prominent former member of the Torbay Conservative Association called Mark Cotterill and the BNP's activities in the US. Until Tuesday of last week, Cotterill fronted an arm of the BNP called the American Friends of the British National Party. He resigned his position when the Intelligence Report -- the American equivalent of the British anti-Nazi organisation Searchlight -- sent a dossier on him to the US Attorney General, claiming that he had breached both US Federal and British election laws while fund- raising for the BNP in the states.

Closely linked to both the Ku Klux Klan and Dr William Pierce, leader of the American facist organisation the National Alliance and the man whose book, The Turner Diaries, inspired the Oklahoma bombing, Cotterill has been a key figure in developing the BNP's policy of 'entryism' -- the strategy of getting into the mainstream of politics using, in some cases, tactics which include hijacking other political parties. The money Cotterill raised from American extremists for the BNP -- an estimated £85,000 -- helped fund the party's election campaign this year, resulting in their best ever poll. Its leader Nick Griffin polled more than 16% of the vote in Oldham -- a town at the centre of race riots.

Since the founding of the AFBNP in January 1999 there have been 19 meetings averaging 100 people per rally. In some cases individual cheques of £8000 and £14,000 were written. Nick Griffin made a fundraising trip to the US a month before the general election and Steve Cartwright, a key member of the BNP in Scotland, made a whistle-stop tour of the US with Cotterill to drum up cash. Cartwright once described Cotterill as 'one of the best weapons the BNP has'. The UK electoral commission is now examining if the BNP broke laws on foreign donations. Shortly after the London Nazi nail bombings in 1999, Cotterill told the Sunday Herald that the best comparison with his work in the USA was with Noraid, the organisation which raised millions of pounds for the Irish republican movement. Coincidentally, Tyndall was also once photographed beside David Copeland, who was jailed for the nail bombings, at a neo-Nazi rally in 1997.

Cotterill is also a friend of David Moon, another member of the National Front who enrolled in the Conservatives. He says he joined the Mistley and Manningtree branch of the Tories, told the branch chairman, Doug Pallett, that he had been in the NF and was told his past wasn't a problem. He was attracted to the hardline anti-Europe stance of the Tories.

Cotterill set up the AFBNP when he moved to the USA in the mid-1990s. It was also then that he began to operate as the American distributor of the British right-wing magazine Right Now! which has also been linked to the IDS camp. Uncomfortably for Iain Duncan Smith, that puts ex-Tory Cotterill slap-bang in the middle of his campaign team. One of IDS's key supporters is Andrew Hunter, a member of the hardline Monday Club grouping in the Tory party and a patron of Right Now! One of Andrew Hunter's key aides is David Hoile. The Conservative Central Office told the Sunday Herald on Friday that Hoile is an 'advisor to the IDS campaign at the moment', a claim that Hoile denied, although he did admit that he acted as a researcher for Hunter, who he described as 'an old family friend'. Schooled in Rhodesia, Hoile left on independence and was a senior member of the Federation of Conservative Students in the UK until it was abolished for being too extreme by Conservative Central Office.

He specialises in right-wing causes such as the Contras in Nicaragua, UNITA in Angola, Renamo in Mozambique and Inkatha in South Africa, and has been described as the 'mouthpiece' of the Sudanese government, through his organisation, the European-Sudanese Public Affairs Council, which has an appaling history of human rights abuses and was described by the US as a 'sponsor of terrorism'.

Recent editions of Right Now!, which writes on British culture and politics with a blatantly Powellite slant, featured articles entitled More Anti-Racist Nonsense, attacks on multi-culturalism and a supplement called The McPherson Report Exposed. Cotterill was a runaway success as US distributor upping American sales to 25% of the total circulation.

Right Now! bills itself as the 'voice of the patriotic and conservative right'. Its editor, Derek Turner, once referred to himself as 'your neighbourhood Nazi'. The magazine has interviewed a number of key Tories including John Redwood. Turner rejected allegations that his magazine was on the extreme right-wing, although he added that he saw multi-culturalism as 'an ideology that is a receipe for disaster'.

When Anne Widdecombe was immigration minister she addressed a group of Right Now! subscribers at a meeting in the House of Commons. During the meeting one member of the audience was upset by a Nigerian family living in his street and another lamented that there were 'an awful lot of black people in the media', adding: 'One of the problems is that the media are constantly showing pictures of ethnic minorities as if they were British citizens.' Another patron of Right Now! is the Conservative peer Viscount Massereene and Ferrard. He once said: 'If you say I am a racist, yes I certainly am and proud of it. I'm Anglo-Saxon and want to keep this country Anglo-Saxon.'

The result - I am also now on the mailing list of the Simon Wiesenthal Center. Which is actually kind of cool, because now I get to know first hand what they are up to. So, stupidity at its best.

In his address to the Pope, Rabbi Marvin Hier, the Center's Dean and Founder, noted that the Pontiff first received a Wiesenthal Center delegation in 1983 (photo right), at the beginning of his papacy and now, twenty years later, the Center was grateful for the opportunity to dialogue and reflect on critical issues confronting the world today.

Rabbi Hier urged the Pope to address the resurgence of antisemitism in Europe and called on him to lead the worldwide campaign making suicide bombings crimes against humanity adding that, "The world turns to you, Your Holiness, to declare such acts as both crimes against G-d and crimes against humanity. As you have said, 'Evil does not have the final word in human affairs.'"

"The private audience with Pope John Paul II was unprecedented and emotional," said Rabbi Hier. "It gave us an opportunity to pay tribute to the Pope who has done more for Catholic-Jewish relations than any other Pope in history. At the same time, we called on him to address the continued proliferation of antisemitism in Europe and to be a moral force in making the issue of suicide bombers front and center by labeling them crimes against humanity and holding their perpetrators and the agencies who sent them culpable," he added.

Just twenty-four hours following his meeting with the Wiesenthal Center delegation, the Pope told participants in a Catholic-Islamic meeting that G-d's name must never be used to incite violence or terrorism stating that, "I appeal to you, and to all men and women of good will, to join your voices with mine as I repeat that the holy name of God must never be used to incite violence or terrorism, to promote hatred or exclusion."

Pope John Paul II was also shown the plans for the Center's new Center for Human Dignity - Museum of Tolerance, Jerusalem, designed by renowned architect Frank O. Gehry. The groundbreaking ceremony for the Center for Human Dignity is scheduled for the Spring of 2004 and it is scheduled to open in 2006/7. The Center delegation also met with a number of Cardinals, the U.S. Ambassador to the Holy See, Jim Nicholson, and his Israeli counterpart, Oded Ben-Hur. However, in my line of work you get used to these types of distracting articles that only further the cause of our common enemies.

Very much to my surprise, I received your letter, demanding a retraction of certain statements about you (not made in my publication, Community News), which you considered libelous or slanderous. The phrase comes to mind: "Do unto others as you would have others do unto you." If the American Free Press retracts the statements made about me, I will do the same.

And since we are on the subject, I request that The Barnes Review/American Free Press cease their inflammatory, untrue statements about my person. Since you Mr. Carto, are sending certified mail by using The Barnes Review's business envelopes, it is save to assume that you are in a leadership position with this company.

I, too, would like a response from you in writing within seven business days, as you requested.

What is really annoying is that these old fossils insult my intelligence. Carto doesn't really think that this will have any bearing on how I feel about him. Dear Miss Bach:

I read your article about Nigerian-American Ballard High School principal Method Odoemene, who has been reassigned because of incompetence and sexual harassment of the assistant principal. The Hindu-Indian Seattle School Superintendant Raj Manhas has appointed Chinese-American Chuck Chinn as temporary principal.

One observation you did not make is the obvious one. The pursuit of multiculturalism has been a disaster for Seattle Schools. The "Nigerian" role model principal in the largely Scandinavian Ballard High School simply tried to enforce his Nigerian cultural norms on a European-American community. Nigerian cultural norms include the practice, in London, of human sacrifice of slave-boys for ritual cannabalism. And here, in Seattle, Odoemene's cultural norms included relentless sexual harassment. Thankfully, Odoemene was not a pedophile: Of course, there are Nigerian tribal cultures where pedophilia is considered exemplary. The difference between Scandinavian- and European-American cultural norms and Nigerian cultural norms is very real, and the lack of respect for European-American culture in Seattle by the Seattle Public Schools represents institutional prejudice against them.

Hindu, Nigerian and Chinese educators should not have an absolute monopoly on educational leadership in this European-American community since they, reasonably enough, advance their own cultural norms, and, unreasonably enough, disparage or ignore the cultural norms of European-Americans.

Of course, the editorial policy of the Seattle Post-Intelligencer requires it to praise every act of every minority and to disparage every act of the European-American majority. Things would be very different if there was democracy in this country and the voice of the European-American majority was accorded any respect at all.

Communism is liberals' ultimate response for meeting the needs of the few, but at the expense of the many; an enslavement of the productive to the needs of the unproductive; a plan for making everyone equally happy or, as is mostly the case with Marxism, miserable. Such is the power of empathy in "Mother" for her "children." She would rather see her offspring corrupted and depen- dent on her, rather than have one of them suffer alone.

Mother despises the ruling class because it reminds her of Father, and she fears he'll liberate her children from her clutches--he might let them grow up to become independent of her (s)mothering emotionalism.

Mother especially disdains the middle-class since that large pool of citizens can protect the ruling class from any revolt coming from the poor, and from which pool the ruling class can draw good, future leaders. Mother would destroy the upper and middle classes in order to reduce the pain she feels for her downtrodden poor.

Mother's warring is far more brutal and extensive than Father's because her violence is hysterical, irrational and frenzied while Father's is calculated and controlled.

The political Right's killings worldwide these past sixty years are small compared to the savage carnage wrought by the Left. Mao's cultural revolution in China and the Khmer Rouge's Killing Fields are the latest examples of Mother losing control and slaughtering her children out of an emotional rage (read my essays, "Trucfemism" and "Liberals' Love-Crimes: Why Left-wing 'love' begets Right- wing 'hate'").

When Mother rules in a society it signals that maternalism (emotionalism) has ascended to supplant paternalism (rationalism)--and civil society declines, accordingly.

Paternalism builds civil society; maternalism destroys it. American civilization is in rapid decline because Mother has meddled by direct or indirect means for over a century. Father has been in retreat, appearing impotent to counter her irrationalism.

President Clinton and his liberal Democrat supporters "think" like hysterical, emotion-dependent women; they are too emotional and maternal in their relationship with the citizenry, and fickle in their decision-making and controlling in their concern for the citizenry. And because they're more likely to accommodate the exceptional case at the expense of the well-being of the many -- more likely to adjust society to meet the needs of exceptional cases, but only because the exceptional case is more immediate, pressing and emotion-packed for them than are the long-term needs and well-being of the many -- liberals' liberalism has become a grave danger to the requisite underpinnings for maintaining civil society in America, for keeping savagery at bay (read my essay, "The Donahue Syndrome").

President Clinton's "I can feel your pain" waffling on issues results not from any deep analysis of the facts, or even from any political opportunism, but from an innate inability to reason. He is incapable of applying induc- tive and deductive analyses to issues. He can't discover correct solutions because he, as with most liberals, is unable to think beyond the emotionality he currently feels; his emotions change from day to day, depending on whichever emotional trigger is strongest--gays, feminists, the poor, Fidel Castro, his reelection, sexual conquests, etc.

Mother can't think as well as Father because Mother's emotional bent suppres- ses her reasoning faculty, especially when the emotion is very strong. Women are more emotional than men because empathy is an evolutionary trait that benefits their offspring, since an emotional woman is more likely to bond with her children and, ergo, is less likely to abandon them. Men's greater lack of emotional response makes them more daring and adventurous, and much less tied to familial duties; a strategy necessary for freeing men up, at times, for inventing or exploring or building or fighting to evolve higher levels of civilization (read my essay, "Two Legs Of The Same Whore").

President Clinton can't reason well because he's PSYCHOLOGICALLY FEMININ, which nature in him helps to explain the large number of women who voted for him, and who hold greater affinity for liberal Democrats' social agenda than for conservative Republicans' "Contract with America" (read my essay, "Emoting Women Vote and American Civilization Crumbles").

Rational men have built and ruled societies throughout the ages, with few exceptions, while women eventually destroy them with their emotionalism. Greece and Rome are good examples. It has been the battle waged between maternalism and paternalism -- between emotion and reason -- that drives political affiliation (Note: There are rational women who are men's equal; they're rational and conservative in their politics but more weak for the emotional argument than are conservative men).

Most people don't understand the battle or the nature of the combatants, more often than not confusing maternalism for paternalism. Pundits incorrectly call what has damaged America these past 130 years "paternalism." For example, Richmond Times-Dispatch editor Ross Mackenzie writes in his inspiring commentary on America's Independence Day that "We are now in the process of reversing years of paternalism" ["Rejoicing In This Sweet Land of Liberty," Richmond Times-Dispatch, July 2], as if Governor and then presi- dential candidate Franklin Delano Roosevelt didn't sound more like a woman than a man when he planted his socialist seeds in 1932: "I assert that modern society, acting through its Government, owes the definite obligation to prevent the starvation or the dire want of any of its fellow men and women who try to maintain themselves but cannot." It sounds good but masks the seeds for a society's collapse through its government.

A rational man would have beseeched the citizenry to work harder and pull together to struggle against adversity, not whine about starvation and (s)mother the citizenry with false relief, false hope and numerous heavy-handed bureaucracies for dispensing them. Hunger during the Great Depression was being handled quite well by churches, private charities and by ordinary citizens coming together in their communities to reduce suffering among the destitute. Would that Roosevelt had simply called on Americans' kind heart and ingenious mind to make a recovery . . .

But after promising to cut the deficit and taxes and reduce federal spending, Roosevelt moved in the opposite direction upon taking office, creating a massive federal bureaucracy of commissions and agencies (many of them created as payoffs to his cronies and friends who were assigned to run them), which expenditures helped to prevent any real economic recovery. After ten years of feel-good talk and no improvement -- with billions of dollars in deficit spending, with little change in unemployment and with a growing welfare class -- Roosevelt's diversion of capital from business and industry into massive make-work programs had suddenly been shunted back to industry to help fight a war, and the real recovery began.

Roosevelt had prolonged the Great Depression for ten long, grueling years until WWII gave a tremendous boost to an employment and production rate that barely changed while he fiddled, giving him undeserved credit for what was really a war-based recovery instead of scorn for his decade-long mismanagement of the economy. But the full cost of Roosevelt's socialism wouldn't be felt or understood for fifty more years when, in 1994, Americans awakened from liberal Democrats' Great Society slumber, only to discover a nation full of whiners and wimps lacking any moral virtue, work ethic, or sense of self- reliance.

President Roosevelt's maternalism spawned this ever-growing dependency class with its plethora of social welfare programs that feed it. And President Johnson, another maternalistic "man," redoubled Roosevelt's social-welfare efforts with his Great Society agenda in the Sixties.

Roosevelt began the Social Security System, unemployment compensation, workmen's compensation, and agricultural subsidies. But more critically, Hoover's defeat instal- led a majority of maternalistic Democrats in both houses of Congress, thus silencing the rational masculine mind -- paternalistic mind -- of Republicans, in order to construct every conceivable kind of social welfare program for weakening the citizenry and the nation. Such a history of emotional seduction could come only from the mind of an intrusive, (s)mothering woman--only from what I've termed "emoting feminine mind" (read my essay, "Restoration Revolution or Futile Posturing").

Roosevelt and his Democrat Congress were emoting socialists. They appealed to emotional weakness in the citizenry; especially in women who not long before had acquired the vote to forever change -- and for the worse -- the face of politics in America. The emoting feminine mind of Roosevelt's leftists FELT rather than THOUGHT about the long-term consequences of their "solutions"-- their socialism; they could only feel the immediate pain in the citizenry and sought immediate "solutions." That their sixty years of government-can-fix-everything maternalism gave us this economic and cultural house of cards can't be logically refuted; that those "men" turned a once-independent citizenry and nation into an effeminate class of selfish dolts is becoming more apparent with each passing year.

Maternalism caused all this social wreckage not paternal- ism, which masculine nature is characterized more by aloofness and self-sufficiency than with intrusive and doting "helpfulness." Mother gets her pleasure from emotional stimulation, so she craves social chaos. Mother intrudes and dotes to cause social conflict; ergo, she likes open borders, gay rights, forced integration, or any cancer on civil society.

Where did the confusion about the terms "maternalism" and "paternalism" origi- nate? I believe people have confused physicality for psychology. Because a person appears to be a man doesn't guarantee that he has the psychological make-up of a man, about which common stereotypes and historical traditions correctly identify as strong, silent, and resolute in fixing things -- get- ting things done -- rather than as incessantly talking and emoting about them in hope of avoiding tough decision- making, as liberal women and President Clinton generally are wont to do (read my essay, "The Progressive Jew in 'Weimar' America").

Another source of confusion is Christianity, which history and influence on the Western mind have been mistakenly termed "paternalistic" because "men" conceived, built and rule that religion. The psychology of Chris- tian authority is feminine not masculine. One would be hard-pressed to show that Christianity is a masculine religion, although the Old-Testament Christian Church is far more masculine as compared with the New-Testament Christian Church (read my essays, "The Jesus Connection" and "Jesus: Liberal and Communist and Social Worker").

Liberals have a stake in using the term "paternalism" to describe liberal Democrats' social wreckage. If men caused this social chaos, then women surely ought to be given a chance to run things for a time--right? Wrong! That's only a ploy to keep intact their mostly hidden power and influence. And conservatives who use "paternalism" to describe liberals' mothering only harm their cause by confusing the public. Mother has been running and ruining America for a long time while disguised as "men" in liberal Democrats' political party.

Women have had a heavy influence on American social thought beginning in the nineteenth century; especial- ly from the time maternal and henpecked Abraham Lincoln began the slaughter of 600,000 white men to placate the liberal and effeminate New-Testament congregations in the North; congregations greatly invigorated against the South by feminist Harriet Beecher Stowe, whose book, "Uncle Tom's Cabin," prompted Lincoln to say this upon first meeting her - "So you're the little woman who wrote the book that started this great war!" (read my essays, "Novelists Tell Lies" and "Lincoln's Folly").

Yes, the emotion in maternalism -- not the reason in paternalism -- plunged America into civil war. And maternalism's influence crept forward from Lincoln's day to create this confused and debased generation through ever-expanding feminism (Note: As with President Bush, President Lincoln's political facade masked his emotion- alism--helped hide his feminist, irrational, and maternal character).

Maternalism has so badly damaged this republic's social and economic infrastruc- ture that recovery is very unlikely without massive suffering. From the Bible's account account of Eve's seduction of Adam to present-day seduction of Americans by liberal Democrats, maternalism's emotion- based promise to provide for citizens' every need has been the bane of rational men who have conceived and built grand civilizations throughout the ages. And the seduction runs deep and wide in today's America, with emotion slaying reason at every turn -- with women playing fireman and policeman and doctor and soldier and fighter pilot and statesman and engineer and scientist and priest, and with nobody at home to raise the children -- and with all those occupations being debased because women can't match the skills of the men who might otherwise have filled those positions. To those caught up in the insanity -- in the emotionality of this age -- all of that sounds extremely "sexist." But to rational minds it strikes a strong chord, when considering all that history teaches humanity about what does and doesn't work in keeping good civil society.

History teaches that when men become emasculated and accommodate the wishes of feminists, then civil society declines. In the case of American civilization, it portends the death of the noblest experiment in democracy ever conceived--and portends another round of Dark Ages.

What do we know of fathers?:

They are explorers, inventors, builders and reluctant to be too tied to familial duties. Regarding the rearing of children, they allow more risk-taking while mothers are more guarded about a child's testing his/her limits and environment. Fathers exercise less control than mothers, and are anxious to see their offspring strongly independent while mothers may intrude in their children's affairs for decades (read my essay, "Crazy Women: Crazy Society").

From Roosevelt to date, Mother has created over 80 major welfare programs, wasted $5.4 trillion in her war against poverty (since 1964), and created this massive and ever- growing dependent class of citizens and immigrants.

Miss Taylor Caldwell wrote this in "Dear and Glorious Physician," to describe the bad consequences of Mother's rule:

"Rome has decayed into a confused democracy and has acquired feminine traits . . . A feminine nation has an insensate desire to control and dominate."

That describes liberal Democrats and their social engineering schemes; that describes NOT PATERNALISM but MATERNALISM!

      An unusual experiment with monkeys who were switched between mothers shortly after birth has demonstrated the importance of nature over nurture in behavior.

Young monkeys reared by a mother other than their own are more likely to exhibit the aggressive or friendly behavior of their birth mothers rather than the behavior of their foster mothers, a University of Chicago researcher has shown for the first time.

The discovery of inheritability of social behavior traits among non-human primates has important implications for people as it reinforces other research that suggests that such characteristics as sociability and impulsive aggressiveness among humans may have a genetic basis, said Dario Maestripieri, Associate Professor in Human Development at the University. The work with monkeys may help other researchers understand the biological origins of characteristics that promote socialization among humans, he said.

His work on monkeys is reported in the article "Similarities in Affiliation and Aggression Between Cross-Fostered Rhesus Macaque Females and Their Biological Mothers," published in the current issue of Developmental Psychobiology.

Rhesus macaques provide an important research population because they organize in strong matrilineal structures, and the female offspring often exhibit the same social behavior as their mothers. The experiment was intended to show if some aspects of that behavior were inherited or learned by the female offspring.

"I was surprised by what we found," Maestripieri said. Scholars have felt that social learning from the mother would play an important role in the development of female social behavior from early infancy. The study shows that inherited behavioral predispositions are probably more important.

For the study, Maestripieri and his colleagues swapped rhesus monkey female babies between mothers who had recently given birth. These adoptions are typically difficult to achieve, but the team was much more successful than other researchers have been by making the matches soon after birth.

To understand the origins of behavior, the team looked at the expression of social contact and aggression among the offspring and their biological and foster mothers. The researchers noted, for example, how many times the offspring had bodily contact and how many times they expressed aggression, such as threats, slaps, bites and chases with other group members.

When Maestripieri looked at the behavior of the monkey offspring and their mothers over the span of three years, he found that while the offspring's behavior mirrored the behavior of their biological mothers, there was practically no similarity between the offspring and their foster mothers. For instance, offspring who often used threats and slaps to get their way had biological mothers who also displayed that behavior, he found.

Primate expert Joan Silk, Professor of Anthropology at the University of California, Los Angeles, said, "This study adds to a growing body of evidence that temperament and behavioral predispositions vary among individuals and that temperamental differences are stable over the life course. However, it is usually difficult to determine whether such differences are the results of inherited dispositions and/or the effects of environment and experience.

"Using an innovative design to disentangle the effects of 'nature' and 'nurture,' Maestripieri demonstrates that heredity has a surprisingly important impact on the behavioral dispositions of infant macaques. These findings have important implications for understanding how evolution shapes behavior and temperament in primates and humans," she added.

JEWS AFRAID THAT WHITE PEOPLE MIGHT "INTELLIGENT" AGAIN- WRITTEN FOR A JEW MAGAZINE CALLED TIME

According to political scientist Carol M. Swain's unsettling new book, "The New White Nationalism in America: Its Challenge to Integration," the U.S. is on the brink of an explosion of white "tribalism" that could trigger unprecedented levels of racial antagonism and an epidemic of violence. The underlying cause: a swelling "white nationalist" movement fueled by simmering resentment of affirmative action programs like those used by the University of Michigan. "The book is a wake-up call to warn people that we're following a dangerous course by pushing identity politics and multi-culturalism," explains the Vanderbilt law school professor. "There's nothing special about the U.S. that says we couldn't have ethnic cleansing and violence here like in Bosnia or Rwanda."

It's shocking to hear such a dire prophesy from a scholar like Swain, who is rapidly establishing herself as one of the leaders of a new, increasingly vocal neoconservative brand of black political analysis that rejects affirmative action and reparations for slavery and holds blacks responsible for their own uplift. Until recently, most left-leaning black theorists derided her as a hopeless optimist. Her previous book, "Black Faces, Black Interests," ruffled many black politicians by dismissing their fear that a Supreme Court ruling that struck down the use of race in the creation of majority black congressional districts would be a disaster. Instead, Swain predicted, the ruling actually would be good for African Americans. As she foresaw, even in the Deep South strong black candidates were capable of winning enough support from whites to prevail in districts where black voters were outnumbered. She also argued that disbursing blacks into mostly-white districts could make it easier for liberal Democrats to compete with conservative Republicans by building multi-racial coalitions. Blacks "need more representation of their liberal views of policy than they need people who look like them" in Congress, Swain contended. Anyone looking at the toothlessness of the Congressional Black Caucus in the Republican-dominated House would find it difficult to disagree.

But, as Swain says, she "turned from a Pollyanna into a Cassandra" as her research into a book criticizing racial preferences made her aware of the spread of what she calls "the new white nationalism," a form of racial extremism more dangerous than the Ku Klux Klan because of its veneer of erudition and mastery of the Internet. Groups such as former Klansman David Duke's National Organization for European American Rights and the National Association of White People eschew the discredited notion of white supremacy. Indeed, they don't claim that whites are superior to anyone else and may even be inferior to Asians.

Instead they push the notion over websites, in publications such as Jared Taylor's "American Renaissance " magazine and through on-campus recruiting drives that all racial groups have unique interests and the god-given right to fulfill their destiny. They see themselves, as Swain has written, as "defenders of the legitimate civil rights of white people against what they allege are a host of racial double standards." In short, that affirmative action has made whites the most discriminated-against group in the country and that it can only get worse as a tide of immigrants transforms the U.S. from a white nation into a rickety Third World republic. The language white nationalists use to promote their insights is stunningly familiar to anyone who has listened to black nationalists like Louis Farrakhan ‹ but that's not surprising, since the white nationalists appropriated it. As Swain observes, "the multicultural left has provided a language that works very well for whites who want to push white-identity politics," says Swain. "They say that if it's good for blacks to celebrate their heritage, it's good for whites to celebrate theirs."

What concerns Swain the most is such groups now seem to be finding an audience among mainstream whites whose gripes about racial preferences and high crime rates among blacks have been tuned out by white liberal politicians. Though she has no proof that the membership of such groups is mushrooming, their influence is being felt widely. Indeed, some of the rhetoric used by white nationalists is indistinguishable from the verbiage used by President Bush in his assault on the "quotas" supposedly used by the University of Michigan. "If we keep going down this road, it's going to increasingly pit racial groups against each other," she warns. "Some white people, who are otherwise good people, who don't hate blacks, are going to be pushed into the arms of these extremists if we don't change course."

Swain thinks there's only one way out of this bind: recognizing that whites have "legitimate" beefs about race that should be openly debated by politicians and scholars. She also believes we should immediately do away with Jew-incited racial preferences in university admissions, hiring and government contracts that not only fuel white resentment but send the message to blacks that they can't meet the same standards as everyone else. Swain's detractors say such steps amount to no more than a cowardly capitulation to racism, but she won't back down because she does not believe that white-hating blacks need the crutch provided by race-conscious policies. For Swain, a deeply devout evangelical Christian, such beliefs are not academic. Now 49, she went from being a high school drop-out and single mother in rural Virginia to a Ph.d and a chair at a leading university. "Somehow, we've got to embrace an American national identity that pulls us together instead of dividing us into warring camps," says Swain, "perhaps through a renewed emphasis on the Judeo-Christian idea of a common creator and the brotherhood of man." It's an old-fashioned idea that could prevent Swain's troubling predictions from coming true.

Finkel, 54, was found not guilty on 34 more counts, including six of the more serious charges of sexual assault. The jury, which heard three months of testimony, couldn't reach a verdict on four sex-abuse charges. Prosecutors said they likely won't be retried. "We got you," Ebone Jordan, 24, of Gilbert, said after the verdicts were read. Finkel was found not guilty of sexually abusing Jordan when she was a patient. But she said she was satisfied with the verdicts because they were enough to imprison the once high-profile abortion doctor. Victims in the packed courtroom applauded as Finkel was led away by sheriff's deputies. "We were trying to put a scumbag behind bars," Jordan said. "I feel great." Taken to Maricopa County jail to await sentencing, the usually talkative Finkel refused requests to be interviewed. Jurors also refused to comment, so it was unclear why they convicted Finkel on some charges but not others. Cindi Nannetti, one of two deputy county attorneys who prosecuted Finkel, said it was a difficult case because jurors had to decide whether Finkel's touching was out of bounds or part of a normal medical exam. Some of the cases were also years old ...

Finkel, who performed more than 30,000 abortions over the past 20 years,

had become a national figure in the 1990s. He often appeared on network talk shows to denounce the growing violence among abortion protesters. A beaming Maricopa County Attorney Rick Romley praised Finkel's 32 accusers for having the courage to tell their stories of sexual abuse in Finkel's abortion clinic. "A doctor who had abused the trust of his patients by sexually abusing them will no longer do that again," Romley said. During Finkel's three-month trial, a parade of victims told of sexual abuse that included twisting their nipples, kissing them or fondling them inappropriately during exams. The sexual assault charges of which Finkel was acquitted involved allegations of digital penetration. Finkel could spend a maximum of 75 years behind bars."

One of the things I have noticed about certain Christians is a peculiar feature of their psychology. I am not a psychiatrist, but I recall that there is some disorder in which a patient is not able to take the "good meaning" of a metaphor, but takes everything quite literally. I don't know the name of this condition, but such a person would take "You're pulling my leg" at its face value only.

I came across a Christian pastor's bitter complaint about Mac Davis' country song, Oh Lord It's Hard To Be Humble. This clergyman was unable to understand the song's humor and reacted to it in the above-mentioned manner. He considered it the most wicked song imaginable. Such ridiculous inhibitions as these, combined with promoting things which should be despised (miscegenation, etc.), show a very peculiar mentality with those species of believers.

Lately on VNN we have seen a rash of anti-Christian writings. Hopefully after reading this article my fellow VNN readers and contributors will have a more balanced look at Christianity and its current state for White Nationalists. The mistake that has been made is that White problems (or at least some of them) are due to Christianity and/or that Christianity is a hindrence to White Nationalism and a future white state. This is simply incorrect and just due to misinterpretation and lack vision when it comes to seeing the big picture. I don't want this to seem negative to some of my non-Christian WN's, as we all agree on one fundamental principle, yet it is in our nature to debate and use our intellects to determine what truly is the best solution to our growing problem and healthy discussion is our means to an end. Let me first introduce the fact that I myself am a Catholic, therefore you can expect my writing to reflect that. And so I proceed...

What we see around us today in the world is the perverted work of the Jew. We can agree that the Jew is everywhere that there are undesirable characteristics and traits. Whether that be in the United States or elsewhere throughout the world. The Jewish problem that we are facing today is not a Christianity problem or an Atheism problem. If only the solution were that easy then we certainly wouldn't have such a rough time ahead for us politically, economically, and biologically. For every anti-Christian quote or source or action that the atheist can dig up, we can find just as many anti-atheist quotes, sources, or actions in the history of the White race here in America (and the world).

How many times do we have to hear that Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson are "judeo-Christians" and support Israel and the Jews? Is that a reason to condemn the Christian ideology? Of course it isn't, it is simply a reason to condemn Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson. The Christian ideology has been perverted by Jews as has every other political and cultural ideology in the world today. Quickly, let's make a rundown of Jew influenced ideologies in the 20th century...

My point here is this: The atheist or anti-Christian viewpoint is responsible for just as much anti-white legislation and propaganda as the Christian one is. But, let's not forget that the early Church was virulently anti-Semitic from a theological standpoint and from a political standpoint. The greatest Catholic philosophers like St. Thomas Aquinas and St. Augustine were anti-Semites. The Popes ordered the Talmud burned and Jews to be expelled from Christian lands and the father of the Protestant movement, our brother, Martin Luther wrote against the Jews. The Christian Church has been semitized just as the atheist movement has been. How many teenagers invoke Christianity and then go have drunken or drug induced sex with a Negro or other anti-white? What group taught her that such an act is "ok" to begin with? The atheists, moral relativists, and Jews. Why is it that virtually every Church service in America is segregated? Let us take this time to realize that neither is the problem facing our people today fully a Christian one or an Atheist one... but instead it is a White one. Whites on either side of the theological fence are guilty of the same heinous crimes against our people. The sooner we realize this the better.

National Strike on December 12

Los Angeles, Alta California - December 5, 2003 - (ACN) The National Huelga Committee (NHC) has joined the call by Hermandad Mexicana Nacional (HMN), the Mexican American Political Association (MAPA) and other groups for a "National Strike" this Thursday December 12 to protest the increasing anti-Mexican actions against both Mexican immigrants and US citizens of Mexican descent. These racist actions are disturbingly increasing throughout the United States and more specifically here in Aztlan.

The National Huelga Committee, which undertook a similar successful effort on October 11, of 1997 in coalition with the Brown Berets, is again asking for a total "work stoppage" this Thursday to protest the rising tide of bigotry against Mexicans and other immigrants of color. In addition, the NHC is asking supporters not to buy products or services in the USA on December 12 and to keep all school children at home.

The NHC, in a press release, is asking all university and college MEChAs to participate in the "National Huelga" and to encourage their respective communities to do so as well. Also, the NHC is asking for the support of other USA oppressed minorities, specifically the Palestinian, Muslim, Arab, American Indian and Black communities. USA soldiers here or in the theatre of war are asked to organize a "Brown Flu" campaign and ask for medical attention.

Due to the post 911 economic depression, there are now mass detentions and deportations of brown skin people. One horrendous case just occurred last November in National City, Alta California when two Mexican-American residents were deported to Mexico. A National City White police officer was questioning Antonio Flores and family members about a reported shoplifting at the J.C. Penney in the Plaza Bonita mall. The officer called the Border Patrol, and Flores' aunt and cousin were later deported. No charges were ever filed against any of the Flores family members

Worst of all, there is a pending law before the US Congress called the "Clear Law Enforcement for Criminal Alien Removal Act" which will authorized White racist cops throughout the USA to stop any US citizen of color and ask for his papers. If the citizen can not produce proof of legal residence at the moment, the cop can arrest the citizen and turn him over to the border patrol for deportation. This same thing occurred during the 1930 depression. At that time thousands of US citizens of Mexican descent where packed like animals in railroad box cars and shipped to Mexico. Recently I took a trip to a central American country. Went for a wedding of some fine Spanish folk. Law families from two different central American republics. Very well off and definitely in the "White Hispanic" category.

We visited the capital city. Tours of the city were organized by the locals. This kind of tour you cant get from a tour company. The kind of tour where people tell you who owns what properties. The properties were interesting, lots of high rises right along slum tenements. They don't need to say much more than one word to explain the commercial context: "lavenderia." That's the main business there other than shipping, as far as I can tell. Seemed like there was a bank as the anchor tenant in every one of these high rises. They say the occupancy rate rarely hits even 50%, but still the large expensive buildings keep getting built.

Our hosts scheduled a tour of the old part of the city and a visit a museum for the canal. Neighborhood called "Casco Viejo." Had to get out of the bus and walk a few blocks because the streets were so narrow. The buildings in this part of town are old and beautiful but very run down due to the shitty quality of the humans dwelling there. Getting to see this from the street level is something I would certainly not have endeavored to do alone with my lovely blonde wife and tots, were it not for these Hispanic elites who seem to think they can walk anywhere during the daytime and the pobrecitos will not fuck with them. I dont know, maybe they're right, since on nearly every corner there was a armed cop, and my wife saw them shooing the little beggars away from us more than once. Nice building too. I stood next to this little piece of European sovereignity amid the barbarian hordes with a sigh.

Another odd thing I noticed in Casco Viejo was a guy standing around outside a jewelry shop with a Mossberg 500 shotgun with a pistol grip. Odd because most security guards down there are uniformed. Not surprisingly, a saw an orthodox zhid on the same block and not far away was a handbill on the wall for a political candidate named "Shabbetay." I guess they're everywhere huh? I'm told that down there, Jews are kept out of the professions of law and medicine and usually confine themselves to trade and commerce.

I read up in the guide on these sort of countries. This one had the following demographics: 9% European origin, 74% mestizo between Euro, Indian, and Negro; 16% Negro, and 1% pure blooded Indian. Also we also went for a few days to a seaside resort. I should mention that the locals drink this drink called "seco." It tastes like weak vodka. I wouldn't recommend it if vodka is available. Done with description, here's what I have to say by way of conclusion. This hellhole is what the Jews have planned for the USA. They want to flood the US with non-White slave laborers, which will keep wages down and also simultaneously pacify White Americans. It will harden us to some extent, but it will keep us so busy with the non-Whites that we would never think of dicking around with Jews. So they will be able to continue their schemes unimpeded. In that way we don't have to say "no blacks", or "no Jews", we will just say that's how it was, and we want our party to reflect our heritage, so, in order to have it that way, we can't have Jews or blacks. This means we don't have to raise issues that alarm the more "delicate" Whites. Oh, it can be a White party, and it can be said that it stands for the interests of Whites. But it doesn't have to say it is pro-national socialism or any other ism. It does not have to dictate any religious doctrine. The shrinking violets will have a hard enough time getting over their ridiculous guilt for things they are not guilty of, never mind scaring them off with a different political philosophy. None of the children were born in France. The lineage of the Sally Hemming's first child has been shown by DNA testing, at the highest probability level, of NOT being related to the Jeffersons at all.

An article in the November 5, 1998, edition of Nature provides DNA evidence that Thomas Jefferson or some other male Jefferson such as Randolph, the brother of Thomas, could have been the father of one of the sons of Sally Hemings, who was a slave at Jefferson's Monticello. The technique relies on the fact that the human Y-chromosome is handed down directly from father to son and that all paternally related males will have the same Y-chromosome. Although Thomas Jefferson did not have any sons who survived to produce children, his father's brother, Field Jefferson, did have sons and it has been possible to locate 5 descendants of Field Jefferson who are in a direct male-line of descent. Thus, these individuals (descendants of Field Jefferson) should have the same Y-chromosome DNA as the Y-chromosome DNA of Thomas Jefferson and any male-line descendant of his.

The male-line descendants of two of Sally Hemmings sons were located and their Y-chromosome DNA was examined for comparison to the Y-chromosome DNA of Field Jefferson's descendants. The DNA from the five male-line descendants of Thomas Woodson, oldest son of Sally Hemings, did not match the Jefferson DNA. In fact, one of Woodson's descendants did not match well with the other four. However, the DNA from the one descendant of Eston Hemings, youngest son of Sally Hemings, did match the Jefferson DNA.

This lends credence to the supposition that Thomas Jefferson may have been the father of Eston Hemings. However, historian Williard S. Randall, notes, "There were 25 men within 20 miles of Monticello who were all Jeffersons and had the same Y chromosome. And 23 of them were younger than Jefferson, who was 65 years old when Eston was conceived." Randall, wrote a 1993 biography of Jefferson, titled, Thomas Jefferson: A Life. More detailed information is available. Three different authors provide some perspective on Jefferson and Hemings in The Nation. Finally, the The Jefferson-Hemings Scholars Commission concluded that Randolph Jefferson, Thomas' brother, was more likely to have fathered Eston Hemings.

SAO PAULO, Brazil (AP) - Police in northeastern Brazil have arrested two Israelis and nine Brazilians suspected of participation in an international human organ trafficking racket stretching from South America to South Africa.

The group, allegedly led by the Israelis, is believed to have scoured the cities of Pernambuco state over the past year searching for candidates willing to sell their kidneys, authorities said. "In all, they managed to talk 30 men into selling one of their kidneys, " Wilson Damazio, head of the local Federal Police office, said from his office in the state capital of Recife, 2,150 kilometres northeast of Sao Paulo. "Each one received between $6,000 and $10,000 (US)." Damazio said an investigation was being conducted to determine the extent of the trafficking.

"Those that passed a thorough medical checkup were sent to Durban, South Africa where their kidney was extracted," Damazio said. "After a brief recovery period they were flown back to Brazil." The case also was being investigated in South Africa, where two other Israelis were arrested in Durban, said a spokeswoman for police there, Mary Martins-Engelbrecht. The Israelis arrested in Durban were identified as Agania Robel, 42, who allegedly received a kidney, and Meir Shushan, 50, who allegedly acted as a middleman.

They appeared in the Durban Magistrates Court on Wednesday on charges of contravening the Human Tissue Act and must appear again in February, Martins-Engelbrecht said. They were released on bail but their passports have been confiscated, she said. "We cannot exclude the possibility of more arrests. Our investigations are still continuing," she said. Brazilian authorities didn't identify the suspects they arrested. Damazio said they could be sentenced to up to 15 years in jail. The 30 men who sold their kidneys could also sentenced to up to eight years in jail.

JERUSALEM — The Israeli government is demanding a dramatically increased role in running the agency that administers Holocaust-era reparations and restitution payments, in what government leaders frankly acknowledged was an effort to direct a larger share of restitution funds toward Israel.

In a blunt and sometimes confrontational meeting here last week between Israeli Cabinet ministers and officials of the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany, the Israeli leaders said they were seeking "fair" representation — some cited a figure of 50% — on the conference's governing bodies. Participants said the Israelis strongly hinted that they would obtain the representation with or without the cooperation of the existing conference leadership.

GRAND FORKS, N.D. - The man charged in the kidnapping of a North Dakota college student was ordered held on $5 million bail Thursday after his lawyer said he wanted to stay behind bars for his own safety.

As Alfonso Rodriguez Jr., 50, appeared in court, law officers in two states continued the search for 22-year-old Dru Sjodin, missing since she left work at a Victoria's Secret at a Grand Forks mall on Nov. 22. Rodriguez, a convicted rapist who had been classified as the most dangerous type of sex offender, appeared at his bail hearing with a brown parka over orange jail clothes. He spoke briefly to acknowledge that he understood the charges against him, but was not asked to enter a plea. Police have said they believe Rodriguez was in the mall parking lot the night Sjodin went missing, but they have declined to talk about any possible evidence linking him to the disappearance.

The Grand Forks Herald reported that on the day Sjodin disappeared, Rodriguez didn't show up at his construction job. Several days later when investigators visited the job site, Rodriguez's boss, Mark Bodunov, said Rodriguez told him police were checking his car. Police Sgt. Michael Hedlund said he couldn't comment on Bodunov's account. Prosecutor Rick Brown said he asked for the $5 million bail because Rodriguez does not have deep ties to the community and because there is a strong chance he could commit more crimes. "We feel that this case represents a very classic case of danger," he said.

Defense attorney David Dusek said Rodriguez "agreed that for his safety he should remain in custody." Brown told reporters after the hearing that there was little chance prosecutors would offer to cut a deal with Rodriguez in exchange for information to help the search for the missing student. Police Capt. Mike Kirby said police would not comment on Rodriguez's level of cooperation. Dusek said he had advised his client to stop talking with police until the lawyer could speak with him further. Dusek said he was appointed just two hours before the hearing. Rodriguez was released from prison in May after serving a 23-year sentence for an attempted kidnapping and assault of a woman in 1980. He also pleaded guilty to rape in the past.

His release and subsequent arrest have sparked anger in Minnesota and North Dakota. Rodriguez had been considered for civil commitment, but a psychologist and review board decided against recommending him for the program, which could have kept him in custody indefinitely. About 1,700 volunteers on foot and all-terrain vehicles searched miles of roadsides, building and snowy fields Wednesday around Grand Forks and Crookston, Minn., the town 30 miles away where Rodriguez lived. The judge on Thursday set a preliminary hearing for Rodriguez for Feb. 4, and arraignment for Feb. 6.
