think that Chicago is one of the most underrated group in Rock n Roll
history. They are white, they could sing and they could play musical
instruments! If you don't believe me, purchase the CD "The Very Best of
Chicago, Only the Beginning". Also, the original Beach Boys, not the faded
replacement group that now plays, is one of the best white rock groups in

Man charged in murder
22-year-old held in Tobago slaying of 14-year-old Keene native

PORT-OF-SPAIN, Trinidad A 22-year-old man was charged Wednesday with the murder of a 14-year-old American girl in a quiet seaside village on the Caribbean island of Tobago.
Shawn Antoine was charged with killing Kitty Nichole Pepe, a native of Keene, who was found Friday night with stab wounds in her eye and stomach in the home she and her mother shared in Charlotteville.
"I did not mean to do it. It was an accident," Antoine cried out in Magistrates Court in Tobagos main town of Scarborough.
Magistrate Annette McKenzie advised Antoine to seek a lawyer. If found guilty, he faces Trinidad and Tobagos automatic death sentence for murder convictions. Antoine was not required to enter a plea, and the next hearing was set for July 14.
Police have said Antoine, a construction worker, might have been dating Pepe, who had lived in Tobago for 10 years with her mother, Heather Pepe.
But Heather Pepe, who worked in the villages fishing industry, said her daughter had refused to date Antoine, even though she had been fond of him.
She said Antoine had approached her on the night her daughter was killed, seeking her help in persuading Kitty to date him. Heather Pepe said she refused to help.
"Im relieved theyve caught him," she said in a telephone interview. "But even if they hang him, Kitty was my whole world, and it wont change the pain of losing my daughter."
About 100 people, many of them from Charlotteville, showed up for Antoines hearing. Violent crime is rare in Tobago, in contrast to its larger sister island of Trinidad. Pepe was the fifth homicide victim this year on the island of about 55,000 people.
There have been more than 140 homicides in Trinidad, population 1.2 million.

What The Muslims Want
This is the question asked most frequently by both the whites and the blacks. The answers to this question I shall state as simply as possible.

Under such schooling system we believe we will make a better nation of people. The United States government should provide, free, all necessary text books and equipment, schools and college buildings. The Muslim teachers shall be left free to teach and train their people in the way of righteousness, decency and self respect.
10. We believe that intermarriage or race mixing should be prohibited. We want the religion of Islam taught without hinderance or suppression.

The Myth of the Innocent Civilian
About a third of those victims who were killed today (July 7, 2005) will not
be missed, in my way of thinking they were part of the problem. If the dead
are a reflection of how the living and uncaring Brit concerns himself about the
Middle East, then maybe the typical uncaring Brit deserves the same fate.
A good portion of those killed today thought that the Muslim world hates the
Brits because of their freedoms. That the Arabs are a hateful people. That the
Palestinians are in the wrong.
And that Israel is right.
Many of the dead, when they were alive spoke in the same vernacular as their
loved ones do today.
"Who gives a fuck about the Palestinians."
"We should just let Israel drop atomic bombs on the whole region and kill
them all."
"There're just sandniggers, who cares about them."
"God gave the land to the Jews. The bible says so."
"There're just a bunch of terrorists."
"We should send weapons to Israel, look at what happened to them with the

The British arrogance, the British callousness is there! Just as it is in
America!
The typical, now dead Brit today lived his life knowing these facts and not
caring about it. The arrogance and the callousness was part of his everyday
being. Was his life worth living, if he didn't care how the British government
was using his tax money to hurt people? to destroy the livelihoods of an entire
region? to allow British bombs to be used in a criminal way when dropped by

My contention is most of those killed today were aware of this.
I think to myself, when is Tony Blair and the Brits going to stop the culture
of lies. And then my inner thoughts hear the callousness of too many of the
dead. When they were alive before today scream--"So what? Who cares? Bomb them
all."
So what?
The myth of the innocent civilian. Who's kidding whom? Today should be a
reminder that if more Britains have an early death, it is because of the end
result of not caring.
You must remember that your fellow brits voting in a non-ethical politician

Shalom speculated the attackers might have taken advantage of the fact that police resources were diverted to a meeting of Western leaders.

NEW YORK (AP) - Six decades later, the Holocaust remains a painful and
emotionally draining topic - and a special challenge for middle school and high
school teachers who have to instruct students about one of the most horrific
episodes in human history.
Despite its importance, Holocaust scholarship is still just beginning to work
its way into history lessons in much of the country, and teachers
volunteering to tackle the subject often find themselves developing courses from scratch,
without much formal training.
"My own education about the Holocaust was not close to what I am providing
today in my classroom," said Kimberly Watkin, a history teacher in South
Burlington, Vt., who offered her high school's first full-term course on the
Holocaust this past school year.
To become better versed in her subject matter, Watkin joined about 30 other
educators from 11 states, plus Croatia, Lithuania and Poland, at a five-day
program on the Holocaust at Columbia University last week.
It was sponsored by the Jewish Foundation for the Righteous, which began in
2000 to bring schoolteachers from around the country to seminars with top
historians as part of a campaign to improve teaching about Holocaust.
"More often than not, you'll find that students are introduced to the
Holocaust by an English teacher who wants them to read Anne Frank's diary," said the
foundation's executive vice president, Stanlee J. Stahl.
"We did this because we discovered that teachers did not know the history,"
she said.
Established in 1986, the foundation's primary mission is to provide financial
aid to non-Jews who risked arrest and possible execution to rescue Jews
during World War II. It offers care to about 1,500 surviving rescuers around the
globe.
But last week, it offered teachers lectures on the development of the Nazi
regime, refugee policies, life under German occupation, the role of industry in
the Holocaust, the efforts of rescuers and the machinery of the system that
killed 6 million Jews.
As in the past, many of the participants came from schools in towns where
there are few Jews, and where the Holocaust is generally taught over just a few
days as part of a larger U.S. or world history course, or as part of a
literature program.
In one seminar, Robert Jan van Pelt, a professor at the University of
Waterloo and the author of several books on concentration camps, posed this question:
Why did the death camps use gas for mass murder?
"Shooting," he noted, "is a perfectly fine way of killing people."
Guns, in fact, were the weapon of choice when mobile death squads began the
first large-scale massacres of Jewish families in the Soviet Union in 1941. Why
switch to stationary camps and gas chambers, which were less efficient?
The answer, van Pelt suggested, may have been that Nazi leaders were
concerned that the relentless killing of women and children up close with a rifle
would exact a psychological toll on German troops.
Gas "allowed those who took part in the operation to remain clean," he said.
"The issue is not how someone could kill, but how they could continue to do
it."
His point touched on an insight that many teachers came away with: Despite
the mechanization of mass killing, the killers themselves were human beings -
which makes their actions all the more shocking.
"These were people much like you and I," said Mark Johnson, a teacher at the
Seattle Preparatory School in Seattle, Wash. "What is it in humanity that
allowed it to happen?"
U.S. colleges have only begun to offer a deeper curriculum on the Holocaust
in the past 10 years, said Deborah Dwork, a professor of Holocaust studies at
Clark University. She called academia's delay, "a polite form of denial." Six
states (New York, New Jersey, Florida, California, Illinois and Mississippi)
now mandate at least some teaching of the Holocaust in public schools.
Students "don't understand how this could have happened, and it is tough to
show them, even in a nine-week course," said James Trill, a teacher at Pioneer
Valley Regional High School in Northfield, Mass. "The challenge to us is
reaching these students and saying, the people who did this are people like all of
us, who have a life and have families."

Now, left to its own devices, the economy would, under normal circumstances, drift into a little recession, the excesses would be cleaned out, and the stupid businesses (the only kind that will hire me) would all go under, and the mismanaged businesses would all go under, freeing up resources of all kinds, and the busted people who acted like idiots would all be swearing that if they ever, EVER, get their hands on another dime, they will never, never, EVER act so stupid with it again as long as they lived. And, for awhile, people will try and save some money and make do without things they want, and savings would grow, and pent-up demand would grow, and then one day, for reasons that nobody can actually enumerate, things get a little better, and then they get a little more better, and then better and better and better, and after awhile the economy is perking again, only slightly different, since there are no stupid businesses or mismanaged business stinking up the joint.
But these are not normal times. The cover of Barron's this week, with the headline, "When Will He Stop?" should convince you of that. The illustration is of Alan Greenspan pumping up a balloon with a bicycle pump. The balloon, emblazoned with "4%", is leaking air. The article, inside, by Randall W. Forsyth, who is one of the Assistant Managing Editors of Barron's, wrote the cover story. He entitled it, "Leaky Balloon" with the subhead, "Greenspan's end game." The story itself is nothing, as the whole purpose of that particular newspaper is to get people to buy stocks, and it would irritate advertisers to even suggest that everything was not wonderful, or even hint that today is not the perfect time to buy stocks, and lots of them. So it is not surprising that it does not even mention the cause of our problems; an out-of-control Federal Reserve and the resultant enormous levels of staggering, stultifying, smothering debt in every freaking corner of the world. So how insightful can it be?

A man accused of witchcraft at the Inquisition Court had two ways to defend
oneself. One, he could laugh it off, and declare: there is no such thing as
witchcraft. The problem is, the inquisition won't approve of such a defence, and
the daring Witchcraft Denier may yet end at the stake, if not for his black
magic, then for his Denial. The second way was to finger a 'real sorcerer' and
thus to demonstrate one's obedience to the Inquisition.
This easier way out was chosen by an internet columnist Justin Raimondo of
Antiwar.com who was accused of variety of sins (1) by a junior London-based
inquisitor called David Aaronovitch in the Times (London). He decided to scapegoat
me. (2) I find myself in a familiar predicament: much as I sympathise with
the victim of inquisition, I am not ready to serve as his fall guy.
In brief, Raimondo says: I am not an antisemite, but Shamir "of indeterminate
ethnicity" is.
This is the path many good but frail guys tread before him and it made them
no good at all. The Columbia University professor Joseph Massad comes to my
mind: he accused late Prof Israel Shahak of being antisemite. It did not help him
a jota: he was accused of the same dreadful offence by the same inquisition
he tried to placate and almost lost his job. Now Raimondo goes the same path,
and not the first time. (3) He even took up the line of "doubtful ethnicity":
Jews use this disclaimer to imply that a pureblood Jew would never stray that
far. After repeating this small slur, Raimondo may begin to check kosher
sertificates on his bacon and eggs.
Pity, for a long time, I have kept a warm spot in my heart for Comrade
Raimondo. Much as I do not like the US right-wingers, this flamboyant
Republican-against-the-war appeared to me a man who fulfils a positive function in the US
body politic. He is not the man I would like "to be in bed with", as he claims,
for I do not like to be in bed with men. But he is doing a good job, opposes
Zionism and the US expansion to the Middle East.
He writes, correctly: "The War Party greatly fears unity among the antiwar
forces. If they can succeed in demonizing antiwar conservatives, and play on the
Left's own caricaturized conception of the Right - a caricature based on
ignorance and loyalty to an outmoded "left-right" paradigm - they can split
opponents of America's imperial ambitions and even set them against each other."
After this, perfectly correct line, he explodes in indignation: "what I have to
do with the likes of David Duke, Nick Griffin, and the founder of the
Baader-Meinhoff Gang, is a mystery to me".
A hint: all these people - as well as the Paleo-Conservatives, Nationalists,
Communists and some Christian and Islamic Fundamentalists - are against the
US-led war on the Third World. Strange, he does not want to see this common
denominator. He has these qualities in common with other people whom I mentioned -
from Duke to Mahler. I disagree with them on many positions, but approve of
their antizionism and anti-imperialism. Likewise, Winston Churchill was not o
vertly fond of Communism, but supported Stalin in his struggle against Hitler's
Germany. Another more up-to-date example: fervent Zionist and warmonger
Aaronovitch supports the 'antizionist Jews for Peace' in their attacks on Gilad
Atzmon and myself.
The world-view difference between me and Raimondo (and Buchanan, and others)
is a normal Left vs. Right difference. Raimondo's main accusation that
"Aaronovitch is formerly a Communist Party youth leader" is in my eyes the sole
redeeming feature of the named Aaronovitch. Raimondo calls him 'a Stalinist', I
reply with "alas, he is not". But I agree wholeheartedly with Raimondo that
"Aaronovitch is a worm with slime trail". If the "left-right paradigm is outmoded"
as Raimondo claims, we should look beyond differences, to the mutual
convergence of interests.
Raimondo proclaims that "he is not against Jews". Well, this is not the
Jewish view of him. Google "Raimondo Jews", and you will find that an important
Jewish publication describes him as "American neo-fascist", (4) while the Chief
of Staff of the Jewish Action Alliance writes: "what makes Justin Raimondo an
especially dangerous anti-Semite is that he is too much of a coward to come out
as an anti-Semite directly; instead, he uses the ruse of being anti-Israel."
Raimondo tries to sell us his PC version of the events: "support for that war
within the administration had nothing to do with putting Jews in an "exalted
position," but everything to do with putting the nation-state of Israel in
such a position." "Most American Jews opposed the Iraq war, and they continue to
oppose it. Israel is not "the Jews" - it is a nation, with interests unique to
itself and policies that are all too often directly counterpoised to the
interests and beliefs of Jews worldwide."
Very, very convincing. What, I pray, makes "the nation-state of Israel" so
influential in the US? Why this small and far-away "nation-state" gets 90%
support in the Congress and Senate and receives over 50% of all American foreign
aid? Raimondo offers no answer of his own. For obvious reasons he can't agree
neither with Chomsky's thesis that support of Israel is a real American Imperial
interest nor with our view. Thus it remains a mystery in Raimondian universe.
In our view ("Shamir's thesis"), the main reason of Israel's prominence in
the US is the Jewish prominence in the US discourse. Israel indeed is not 'the
Jews', but a part and parcel of the Jewish setup. If Raimondo were slapped by
Aaronovitch, he would probably claim that he was slapped by Aaronovitch's hand
"which has nothing to do with Comrade Aaronovitch". In my view, if
Aaronovitch's hand slaps Raimondo, probably his body and head are not too far behind.
I wonder what makes Comrade Raimondo a leading expert on "the interests and
beliefs of Jews worldwide"? Jews say they support Israel (with miniscule
exclusions) but he knows better. He says that "the American antiwar movement
consists of a large number of Jews". Very true, and that is why the US antiwar
movement was very hesitant of ever tying the war in Iraq with the cause of
Palestine. They preferred to blame the war on 'oil interests'.
Raimondo says that "most American Jews opposed the Iraq war". Even if it were
true (and it is not) what difference would it make? He notes that "60 percent
of Americans say we ought to start withdrawing from Iraq" but "the War Party
is still in the driver's seat". Isn't it the same story? Opposition of
ordinary Americans of Jewish descent to the War does not influence the policy of 'the
Jews' (i.e. of Jewish elites) like the opposition of the ordinary Americans
makes no impact of Bush's policies.
In order to present me as "an addled brain of a nutbar", Raimondo distorts my
words. I write: "AIPAC and ADL should be registered as foreign-interests
lobbyist if not banned altogether". He writes: "Shamir's idea that the U.S.
government should ban Jewish organizations is grotesque, not only by libertarian
standards but by any measure of human decency." I am not aware of the measure of
'human decency' which forbids banning of these two monsters for they run a
(surely illegal) private political police force in the US. This is certainly not
'grotesque' for the country which routinely bans even philanthropic Islamic
bodies. And who but Raimondo wrote in 2001: "when such groups [as AIPAC] put
the interests of a country other than the US at the very top of their agenda,
when nary a sliver of daylight can be found between their stance and that of a
foreign power - then Americans have a right to call them on it".
He writes: "Shamir caters to his deranged constituency of Jew-haters". Far
from it: our community of shamireaders (5) has many professors and priests,
people of Left and Right, of Jewish and Gentile origin, and is probably one of the
most diverse and exciting groups in cyberspace. We are still ready to listen
and swap views with all anti-War people, even with Raimondo.

In my last piece about the Rothschild banking dynasty I wrote "They have over half a decade of testing to prove that a nuclear war is "survivable" - at least for those who are allowed the proper precautions. This should read: "over a half century".
Also several new wrinkles in the Chinese situation have occurred since the original piece was written. Most notable among these new developments is the potential acquisition of Unocal by the Chinese. Should this occur, the Chinese will control one of the largest oil companies in America. No doubt there will be many hard feelings over such an acquisition, especially by the governing members of Chevron as well as other American oil companies who will find themselves in direct competition with an oil company directly backed by the Chinese government.

This article also refers to GM workers wages contrasting with Chinese wages at a Honda plant.
Finally I have included three more interesting and thought provoking articles about the Unocal deal, a possible option for GM in China and China's emerging dominance as perceived by Craig Roberts. These are the developments and attitudes that foreshadow the drums of war for a conflict with China. One very interesting point of identity is made in the following article about Unocal, the Rothschild family name is actually mentioned among the cabal of Jewish bankers advising the Chinese on this deal. I have never seen the Rothschild name publicly liked to ANY deal, especially one of this magnitude. There must be a very good reason at this point in history for the Rothschild name to be publicly linked with the Chinese CNOCC, but just what purpose it might serve eludes me at the present.
The Rothschilds have always worked in a clandestine manner behind their front men. A notable example of behind the scenes Rothschild economic manipulation was visible in the person of J.P. Morgan who moved billions for the Rothschilds without ever being linked to the shadowy banking family. Upon his death, it was discovered that Morgan's estate was worth a mere 60 million dollars. The common question of that day was "where did all of Morgan's money go?" The fact is it was never Morgan's money that he moved, it was Rothschild money. Morgan's 60 million dollar estate valued in turn of the 19th century dollars gives ample evidence as to how well it pays to work for the Rothschilds.

Forum: Hate's inevitable harvest
Terrorism is truly a global scourge, with Middle East instability the major force behind it.
While it is absolutely necessary to find the terrorists and destroy their organizations, just killing these snakes won't be enough because the Middle East swamps will continue generating more. Despite Yasser Arafat's demise and a welcome proliferation of democratic rituals in many Middle East states, coming efforts will fare no better than those of the past unless the prime source of the enduring tension is addressed.
The issue is hate, a concept bypassed in all public discussions and deeply backstage in U.S. diplomacy. Yet only by draining the swamps of hate will peace, economic development and victory over the terrorism have a chance.
Hate, an extremely powerful and enduring emotion, distorts reality, impedes logical solutions and precludes compromise. Once acquired, it is very difficult to dislodge. And passed down from generation to generation, it has become an integral part of Middle East cultures.
This hate is an acquired, learned characteristic purposely propagated and carefully nurtured by a wide variety of Middle East actors, governments as well as private parties. Middle Easterners are bombarded daily with unending hate propaganda. A few examples illustrate:
. Hezbollah's al-Manar Lebanese TV station, beamed by satellite throughout the Middle East and beyond, has continuously broadcast "Death to Israel via martyrs' bullets and blood." "Death to America" is a newer addition to its repertoire, with a commonly used video depicting the Statue of Liberty's head as a hollow-eyed skull, dripping blood, and holding a knife instead of a torch.
. In Egypt, a country formally at peace with Israel for 25 years, "I Hate Israel" was a leading pop song for many months. On Oct. 14, 2003, Egypt's former undersecretary for religious affairs, Sheik Mansour Al-Rifa' i 'Ubeid, published an article titled "Treason and Deception are in Their Blood" in the official Egyptian daily, Al-Gumhuriya. He proclaimed: "Jews lived their wholes lives in a nest of corruption, propagating vile and fighting virtue. Therefore, Allah -- through the Prophets -- cursed them throughout time."
. The Holocaust is celebrated by many Middle East influentials, with frequently expressed regrets that "Hitler did not finish the job." A widely embraced myth is that Jews must kill a non-Jew to obtain blood for a religious ritual.
. The Sept. 1, 2003, Tehran Times had two condemnatory articles, one claiming an alleged Jewish plot to kill French President Jacques Chirac, and another maintaining agents of Israel's Mossad intelligence service were involved in the Najaf terrorist action that killed Ayatollah Seyed Mohammad Baqer al-Hakim and more than 100 others.
The only way to eliminate hate is forceful action on the ground to silence the purveyors of hatred. Clearly, only the Middle East and its leaders can do this.
A number of actions are required:
(1) Hate purveyors must be muzzled. Incitement in mosques, on TV, in schooltexts, newspapers and elsewhere must end.
(2) Public condemnations of such demonization by government leaders, clerics, academics and media personalities is essential. This includes expressions of outrage against terrorist actions.
These two steps are essential; everything else is superfluous. The Bush administration's initiative for elections is an example. In the absence of hate, good results are likely. With hate, bad outcomes are likely, with those gaining power tending to use it against hated groups, domestic or foreign.
Alas, most Middle East governments and their domestic extremists find hate propagation advantageous. Accordingly, uneasy bargains are struck, with extremists allowed to plot and spread hate as long as the government is not a target. The United States needs to make it clear that this game must end.
If we are truly serious, we must be willing to apply our diplomatic and financial leverage to the fullest on all Middle East states. Indeed, if Jew-hating and Crusader(Christian)-hating can abate, perhaps Shi'ite-hating also will lessen and there will be other positive spin-offs. Such an effort, of course, risks serious disruptions to our Middle East relationships if our pressures are rejected. Even that, however, may bring benefits.
Withdrawing support (though not necessarily our ambassadors) from noncooperating regimes disliked by both their liberals and their extremists should reduce some angst against the U.S. in those quarters. More importantly, it will be a clear litmus test for discerning which Middle East states truly value our friendship and wish to move into the 21st century with relatively open and liberal systems.
At the end of November 2004, it was reported the post-Arafat Palestinian Authority instructed all state media to stop inciting against Israel. Indeed, the televised Friday sermon of Dec. 3 by cleric Muhammad Jammal Abu Hunud and broadcast in the presence of significant PLO leaders called for tolerance and reasoned dealings with the "other" as well as avoiding violence. This major reversal shows incitement of hatred can be stopped at the flip of a switch, if the will exists to do so.
Alas, the seemingly new course of Palestinian sermons has ended. For example in a May 13 sermon on Palestinian TV, Sheik Ibrahim Mudairis told his mass audience "Jews are the cancer spreading all over the world... Jews are responsible for all wars and conflicts," asserting God has predetermined that the Jewish problem end with the extermination of the Jews.
Clearly, Middle East hate propagation is turned on and off like a light. It is time to permanently turn it off, and that should be the prime and very visible goal of U.S. policy. Without hate, most Middle East problems are amenable to solution; with hate, none are. It is time to focus our efforts.

The men flocked to the cafe under the sign with the cedar tree, symbol of their Mideast home. Here, in this alien border land, it was the beacon that led to an Arab "brother" who would help them complete their journey from Lebanon into America.
They would come, sometimes dozens a month over a three-year period, to find Salim Boughader Mucharrafille - the cafe owner who drove a Mercedes and catered to some of Tijuana's more affluent denizens, including workers at the U.S. consulate only a short stroll away. His American customers were unaware that the savvy boss of La Libanesa cafe ran a less reputable business on the side.
Until his arrest in December 2002, Boughader smuggled about 200 Lebanese compatriots into the United States, including sympathizers of Hezbollah, designated a terrorist organization by U.S. authorities. One client, Boughader said, worked for a Hezbollah-owned television network, which glorifies suicide bombers and is itself on an American terror watch list.
"If they had the cedar on their passport, you were going to help them. That's what my father taught me," Boughader told The Associated Press from a Mexico City prison, where he faces charges following a human-smuggling conviction in the United States.
"What I did was help a lot of young people who wanted to work for a better future. What's the crime in bringing your brother so that he can get out of a war zone?"

Initially the blacks and Mexicans will escalate their attacks on whites but soon a state of martial law will brutally put down any such internal strife. In his newsletter, he reports that there is merely "12 days to go [July 14] until what should be 'game time'"--that is, when the Israel-firsters begin hearing his message that should send shudders up and down their spine.
He is able to run for Congress because there is one--and only one--Congressional election coming up in Cincinnati. It is a special election on August 2, 2005. To help President Bush, Congressman Rob Portman has vacated his position to help bring forth CAFTA, the Central American Free Trade Agreement--another agreement that will send countless thousands of jobs south of the border to aid Bush's plutocratic supporters. Condit will be running for Portman's old seat.
To say that Condit's ads are critical of the Israel-first plutocrats who seemingly dictate America's foreign policy decisions is the understatement of the year. Condit has long argued on his website of Israeli-foreknowledge, if not out right participation, in the events that caused 9-11. Not only that, but his radio ads have been running on Clear Channel WLW and also WKRC (from which the show's name "WKRP in Cincinnati" was presumably derived). These are MAJOR radio stations, with 50,000 Watts of power to send Condit's messages across much of the U.S.
While Condit is not anti-Semitic, Israel-firsters have nevertheless called him a "Jew hater" to discourage others from hearing his honest and straightforward message, which most Americans really do need to hear. Condit's radio ads must be accepted as-is by radio stations, which is required by the Federal Election Commission, since he is running for office.
What, exactly, is Jim Condit Jr. planning to say? Well, like I said, it is a "shock and awe campaign"--that is, to get the attention of Americans across the land to Israel's excesses.
Israel is a country that many Americans mistakenly believe is our ally but actually siphons billions of tax-payer dollars every year (adding up to OVER $1.5 TRILLION in aid, not paid back, over the years), has stolen top secret information (Pollard), has attacked at least one U.S. ship (U.S.S. Liberty), has bombed the U.S. Library of Information in the LaVon Affair, has bombed Englands' King David Hotel, and has recently sold American secrets to China, again. Because of America's unjust support of Israel, America is hated throughout the Mid-East.
The following are two of Condit's ads that he has planned. These ads will be short and run several times a day, if everything goes well, and will mention 1-hour shows that he also has planned on the airwaves. His ad called "Phase II of 9-11" (radio campaign) goes like this:

You can see why the Israel-firsters would be fearful of a message like this, as it makes people think. Of course, Condit is not new to controversy: Previous messages he has run while campaigning have said similar things, as well as highlight the plight of the U.S.S. Liberty victims--Americans who were murdered by Israel, while our government stood by and did nothing. Condit's other radio ads have sent shock waves across the land. But now he is running for the only vacant seat in the land, and his message will be heard louder than ever! Through Condit's ads, many Americans have a chance of discovering a message that they might not otherwise hear. A college student and the felon from Edwardsville charged Thursday with murdering her had each called police numerous times in recent months, 100 accusing each other of harassment. The body of Marissa Tharp, 20, of New Boston, Ill., was found beaten and strangled about 1 p.m. Tuesday by police in a rickety mobile home. On Thursday, Shauntez T. "Shaun" Hairston, 25, was charged in St. Clair County Circuit Court with first-degree murder in Tharp's killing. Hairston was being held in the St. Clair County Jail in lieu of $1 million bond. Tharp's father said his daughter had met Hairston at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, where she was a student. Campus officials said Hairston never attended the university.

NEW BOSTON, Ill. ? Marissa Tharp was remembered Wednesday by her father as a girl with a "glowing personality and presence."
The body of the 20-year-old New Boston, Ill., woman was found about 1 p.m. Tuesday by police in a mobile home in Alorton, Ill., near East St. Louis.
Police there plan to seek murder charges today against a 25-year-old East St. Louis man -- an acquaintance of Tharp ? in the beating and strangulation of Tharp. His identity was not released.
The woman was last was seen Monday when she left her job as a waitress at Flood Waters in Muscatine. She later called her family late Monday from Davenport saying she was heading home.
But she never got there.
Now, family and authorities are trying to find out what happened to the former Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville student and how she ended up back in the area where she formerly attended college.
"She talked to her mom about 11:30 p.m. Monday and said she was going to watch the fireworks over in Davenport," said her father, Kenny Tharp. "She talked to her sister about midnight and said she was on her way home."
"We waited and waited for her and she never came. It's a parent's worst nightmare."
The next day, he said he went to the Mercer County Sheriff's Department in Aledo to file a missing person report. He was sitting there when the Illinois State Police in Carbondale called Mercer County authorities.
"In the process of contacting the Mercer County Sheriff's Department to gather information on Ms. Tharp, it was learned that Ms. Tharp's father was at the sheriff's department at that time trying to have her entered as a missing person," said Master Sgt. Jim Morrissey from the District 11 Illinois State Police in Collinsville.
"Our understanding is that Ms. Tharp worked the Fourth of July at a business in Muscatine, Iowa, and then got off in the late afternoon or early evening hours and then she was found the following afternoon in our area," he said.
Her car was found in East St. Louis, he added, but it is unknown whether she drove there herself or was forced.
"At this time we have no information on how Ms. Tharp came from the Muscatine, Iowa, area to the Metro East here down by St. Louis," Morrissey said. "Our indications are now that the incident (strangulation) occurred at the trailer where Ms. Tharp's body was located."
He said the local police department received a call from the owner of the trailer who had received information that there may have been an incident inside the trailer. "So the owner along with the local Alorton Police Department entered the trailer where they found Ms. Tharp," he said.
Kenny Tharp described his daughter as "an unbelievably beautiful girl, both inside and out. She had such a glowing personality and presence. When she walked into a room everyone knew she was there."
A 2003 graduate of Westmer High School where she was an outstanding volleyball player and also pitched on the softball team, Marissa was going to college to follow her dream of becoming a forensic pathologist.
Kenny Tharp said his daughter had met the suspect at school, and true to her nature, she likely was trying to help someone who seemed to need help. He said neither he nor the other family members had met the suspect.
"She had such a giving heart," Kenny Tharp said. "From the time she was in pre-school to when she graduated from high school, she often came home without her bookbag because she had given it to somebody else who needed it worse than she did."
He said Marissa was raised, "in the sticks and when she went to school she trusted everybody."
While her freshman year of college was spent at SIU, he said and concluded her sophomore year at Western Illinois University in Macomb. Her desire to help people was her motivation to study in the field of criminal justice, he added.
"She also was a very good cook," Kenny Tharp said. "She was very bright and had many goals. She will be missed."
Tharp was a student at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in 2003 and 2004, said university spokesman Greg Conroy. He said she returned to the Edwardsville campus Feb. 5, but he was uncertain of her reason for the visit.
About 10 days later, she called SIU-E police from Macomb, Ill., and said a man she knew had grabbed her arm while they were inside a car on campus, said campus detective Justin Lieberman. No charges were filed against that man because she didn't make an in-person report, there were no witnesses and the report was delayed, Lieberman said.
SIU-E police tried to talk with the man who Tharp had accused of grabbing her, but he refused to be interviewed. Authorities on Wednesday were not disclosing the name of the suspect, so it was not known if he was the same man involved in the February dispute.
News spread quickly Wednesday in in the Westmer School District area about her death.
"She was just a fun-loving kid," said Jeanette Neels, a former Westmer volleyball coach and teacher. "Volleyball was her favorite sport and she loved it. She always came back to see me after she went off to college. I feel for her family right now."

SUN VALLEY, Idaho - As they work to come to grips with the Internet, entertainment moguls have a very clear goal: don't let what happened to the music industry happen to the rest of the entertainment industry.
The burgeoning age of digital distribution means movies, video and TV are being delivered to the consumer in new ways, through high-speed networks in the home and even over portable devices like cell phones. It's presenting the same potential for piracy and file-swapping that have severely weakened music copyrights.
On Friday, top media executives attending an annual Sun Valley retreat did some listening, thinking and talking about the issue. They included incoming Walt Disney Co. CEO Bob Iger, Time Warner Inc. CEO Dick Parsons and Viacom Inc. co-president Les Moonves.
On the day's agenda at the plush mountain resort was a panel talk with several U.S. soldiers and a presentation from Microsoft Corp. Chairman Bill Gates on "Living the Digital Lifestyle at Home and at Work."
In a brief interview with reporters following the presentation, Gates said that it involved Microsoft's new Xbox 360 and its applications and use in the home.
He declined to describe the reactions of the media executives present, but said, "It's a good crowd to hear about it."
Like all official events at the retreat, it was closed to reporters, who watch from a distance as CEOs mill around, sporting name tags and squinting in the bright sunlight beside placid ponds stocked with large white swans. Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen has been seen this week chatting with Liberty Media Corp. Chairman John Malone over a barbecue lunch, while Washington Post Co. Chairman Don Graham had a long chat with billionaire investor Warren Buffett, who sits on his board, and with Google Inc.'s CEO Eric Schmidt.
Emboldened by a recent Supreme Court decision against Grokster, a file-sharing service that was deemed to be encouraging piracy, media executives are considering ways to deliver movies over the Internet in legal, easy ways that could not only avert piracy but also make extra money for the studios.
Intel Corp. presented media executives with its vision of a high-speed entertainment network for the home, and actor Morgan Freeman announced that Intel had agreed to invest in a new company he was starting that would allow consumers at home to view first-run movies delivered over the Internet.
In interviews Friday, several guests at the conference, sponsored by the Allen & Co. investment firm, said that figuring out creative and profitable ways to get media delivered over the Internet was a top priority for media and entertainment companies.
"Our challenge is to come up with hassle-free and reasonable-cost technologies for the consumer," said Dan Glickman, CEO of the Motion Picture Association of America, a Washington-based trade group representing the major movie studios.
"You're beginning to see a lot of relationship-building between the cable, telecom and content industries" on forging deals to deliver media online, Glickman said. "I think the opportunities will explode over the next four to five years."
Glickman also said the recent case against Grokster, in which the MPAA was heavily involved, should encourage new technologies, not stymie them, as some technology executives have warned, by making it easier and more practical to make legal offerings of movies. The Supreme Court ruled last week that the movie and music industries can file lawsuits against technology companies like Grokster that encourage piracy over the Internet.
Tom Freston, co-president and co-chief operating officer of Viacom Inc., said he thought media companies were making good progress in making their content available online.
"I think it's going well, particularly as we see the movement to video on broadband, which suits all these media companies really well," Freston said.
Before he became a top executive at Viacom, Freston was a longtime leader of MTV, which has been moving aggressively to build up its offerings of video and other material online.
Freston said it was too early to count out media companies in the race to draw in readers and viewers online - and the advertising dollars that go with them - even as Internet powerhouses like Google Inc. and Yahoo Inc. continue to offer more services and content to Web surfers.
"I don't see the game being over any time soon," Freston said. "All the media have great assets - they can build, they can buy, they can partner. There's a lot of options."
The recent emergence of Google as a major power has caught the attention of many media honchos as they continue to grapple with strategies to make money online.
Google now has a stock market value of more than $80 billion, even more than that of the largest media company, Time Warner Inc., the owner of HBO, CNN, People magazine and the Warner Bros. studio as well as America Online.
How traditional media interact with Internet powers like Google, Yahoo and Microsoft Corp.'s MSN network is one of the most compelling strategic questions facing the media giants, says Michael Wolf, head of the media and entertainment division at the management consulting firm McKinsey & Co.
"For the first time, media companies recognize their power, and not just their financial power but also their ability to move huge amounts of advertising time and people," Wolf said. "The media guys need to find ways either to partner with them or compete against them."
For the moment, building online strategies remains very much a work in progress for many major media executives as talk business here over rounds of golf and other outdoor activities.
"I think there are more questions than answers at this point," said Ivan Fecan, president and CEO of Bell Globemedia Inc., a Toronto-based media company that owns The Globe and Mail newspaper and Canada's top private TV network.

Westchester mall, told police on videotape that he is fighting "a race war
against white people" and that he stabbed Connie Russo Carriero last week because
she was white. Grant, who is black, said on the tape played in court: "All I
knew was, she had blond hair and blue eyes and she had to die."
The Mike Gallagher radio show is carried nationally on over 200 stations. On
Friday, July 8 he talked about this case and the media double standard on

Tropical Storm Cindy Hits Louisiana Coast
NEW ORLEANS -- -- Tropical Storm Cindy blew ashore Tuesday night, pelting the
Louisiana coast with sideways rain and intermittent squalls as it headed
toward Mississippi's Gulf Coast for a second strike.
St. Bernard Parish Sheriff's Office spokesman Capt. Mike Sanders said the
low-lying coastal parish had seen much worse, but residents were still watching
Cindy and Tropical Storm Dennis, which was brewing in the Caribbean and could
arrive in Florida on Friday.
Oil companies evacuated their Gulf of Mexico rigs, and tourists headed
inland. Entergy spokesman Chanel Lagarde said 37,000 customers across southeastern
Louisiana, including New Orleans, were without power Tuesday night.
As much as 10 inches of rain was forecast in some areas, and flood watches
were issued for southeastern Louisiana and southern Mississippi. A tropical
storm warning was posted from Morgan City, La., to the Florida Panhandle town of
Destin.
COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho -- An 8-year-old girl told authorities that a violent
sexual predator tied up her family before she and her 9-year-old brother, who
remains missing, were taken away in a pickup truck. She said both of them were
repeatedly molested, according to court papers. Joseph Edward Duncan III, 42,
of Fargo, N.D., was charged with two first-degree kidnapping counts and ordered
held without bail.
WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- Philip Grant, who is accused of killing a woman at a
Westchester mall, told police on videotape that he is fighting "a race war
against white people" and that he stabbed Connie Russo Carriero last week because

ST. CLOUD, Minn. -- A teenager charged with killing two high school students

But how ironic that our state would never, ever produce a pamphlet warning of a much greater danger: racial minorities. Racial minorities kill, rob, beat, rape and steal with great frequency. Redstone Says Age of the Media Conglomerate Is Over, He Has No Regerts About Breaking Up Viacom SUN VALLEY, Idaho (AP) -- Sumner Redstone, one of the great empire-builders of the media world, on Friday said he had no regrets about his decision to break up Viacom Inc., the massive media company that owns MTV, CBS and the Paramount movie studio.
"The age of the conglomerate is over," Redstone said, addressing a small group of reporters at an annual retreat for media moguls in Sun Valley, a scenic resort tucked into the mountains of Idaho."Sometimes divorce is better than marriage," Redstone said. "The world has changed" since Viacom announced in 1999 that it was buying CBS Corp. "It's time to take a new look and adapt."
Redstone, a regular guest at the annual Sun Valley conference, had been keeping a low profile at this year's event. On Friday he agreed to speak to reporters in the lobby of the resort as other key players in the media world including News Corp. Chairman Rupert Murdoch and Time Warner Inc. CEO Dick Parsons strolled past.
Last month Viacom's board approved a plan that would split the company into two entities, one with a focus on fast-growing cable networks including MTV, VH1 and Nickelodeon, and the other on cash-rich but slower growing businesses like broadcast television and radio.
The two companies will be run by Redstone's two deputies at Viacom, former CBS chief Les Moonves and former MTV head Tom Freston. Both executives were also attending the Sun Valley meetings.The annual retreat for media executives, investors and technology gurus draws an A-list crowd from the business world, including investor Warren Buffett, Microsoft Corp. Chairman Bill Gates and both Michael Eisner, the outgoing CEO of Walt Disney Co., as well as incoming Disney CEO Bob Iger.Addressing the Viacom split, Redstone said that "the time has come to be more nimble" for media businesses.

Critics say the increase in births will strain services

Foreign-born women are filing into Colorado birth clinics in record numbers, a new study has found.
In Denver, foreign-born women gave birth to 41 percent of babies in 2002, compared with 23 percent nationwide, according to the Center for Immigration Studies, a Washington, D.C., think tank that favors setting limits on immigration and boosting enforcement.
The findings reflect a sharp change since 1990, when immigrant mothers accounted for about 15 percent of births nationwide and in Denver.
In populous Front Range counties, the share of births to immigrant mothers has at least doubled since 1990.
The study placed Colorado fifth among the states in the percentage of births to illegal immigrants.
Doctors are adapting to their new clientele. In Denver, Dr. Richard Jones, 58, interim chief of obstetrics for the Denver Health citywide system of clinics, took classes at night after work to hone his Spanish-speaking skills.
"It doesn't matter where you are from," Jones said. "We'll take care of you and your baby."
Though Denver clinics don't track patients' citizenship, the burden of caring for about 70,000 patients a year who lack insurance, many of whom are legal or illegal immigrants, is growing. Uninsured patients cost Denver Health $285 million last year, up from $100 million in 1991, spokeswoman Bobbi Barrow said.
Denver Public Schools officials also are undaunted about what increasing immigrant births may mean for the future, spokesman Mark Stevens said.
"Our role is to take kids where they are when we get them and move them forward. ... Our job is to find the most talented teachers available who enjoy and see the benefits of working with that population," Stevens said.
The change in Colorado has been exceptionally rapid: Immigrants gave birth to 4.2 percent of babies statewide in 1970, 6.8 percent in 1980, 8.6 percent in 1990 and 23.3 percent in 2002.
The study drew on birth certificate data from 50 states at the National Center for Health Statistics. Each birth certificate lists the mother's place of birth.
The study found 380,000 births in 2002 were to mothers in the country illegally - about 10 percent of total births nationwide. In Colorado, 11.9 percent of births were to illegal immigrants, it found.
These results were based on calculations that factored in foreign-born population data including estimated fertility rates - 2.6 children per immigrant mother versus 1.9 per U.S.-born mother.
Under U.S. law, any child born in the country automatically gains citizenship rights that can help parents avoid deportation.
Increasing births to immigrant mothers will accelerate a shift away from assimilation of immigrants and toward "separate nations within the United States" and residents will have "a very weak sense of national identity and national cohesion," said Steve Camarota, author of the study and director of research at the center.
More immediately, Camarota said, advocates of the "temporary worker" program President Bush has proposed to ease illegal immigration woes must realize workers probably would have babies and this would mean "hundreds of thousands of permanent additions to the U.S. population each year."
The American Immigration Lawyers Association, which advocates for immigrant rights, embraced the results even while criticizing the Center for Immigration Studies as biased against population growth.
"Immigrants are a relatively small percentage of the total population, and they are becoming part of America," said Judy Golub, the group's director of advocacy. "We think immigrants contribute positively to this country."
But others see a need to rethink policy and enforcement.
The births to immigrants "puts real strains on hospitals and schools that you can't just walk away from; ordinary Americans have some reason to be concerned about it," said Peter Skerry, senior fellow at the Brookings Institution.
"Now, does it mean we need to shut down the (U.S.-Mexico) border? No," Skerry said.
"We need to figure out ways to own up to the impacts of these global changes. I don't think we do that real well. Either people overreact and go to the extremes, like the 'Minuteman' version of things, or we blithely sit back and say, 'This is going to happen and there's not much we can do about it.'
"There's got to be some more balanced approach where we acknowledge the strong pressures of these changes and at the same time figure out a way of regulating these things and responding to the impacts globalization can have."

The Lavon Affair
In the early 1950s, agents of an Israeli terrorist cell operating in Egypt planted bombs in several buildings, including U.S. diplomatic facilities. They left behind "evidence" im plicating the Arabs as the culprits.
The ruse would have worked, had not one of the bombs detonated prematurely, allowing the Egyptians to capture and identify one of the bombers. This led to a round-up of the entire ring.
Why would our Jewish friends do something like this to their greatest benefactor?
The story begins when the United States began pressuring the British to withdraw from the Suez Canal and leave Egypt, something the U.K. eventually agreed to do. Israel was strongly opposed to British withdrawal, as it feared this would remove a check on Egyptian President Gamal Abdul Nasser in his defense of Arab interests against the Zionist menace. But diplomatic methods failed to sway the British.
And so, in the summer of 1954 Colonel Benyamin Gibli, the chief of
Israel's army intelligence, intiated Operation Susannah in order to reverse that decision. The plan called for bombing British and American facilities in Egypt, with the intent that they would be attributed to the Egyptian government, to show what a "threat" it posed. Operatives had been recruited several years before, when the Israeli intelligence officer Avram Dar, alias John Darling, arrived in Cairo under a British cover. The recruits came from the local Jewish population and were trained in the techniques of covert terror operations.
On July 2 they struck. A post office in Alexandria was firebombed, and on July 14 the U.S. Information Agency libraries in Alexandria and Cairo, as well as a British-owned theater, were also bombed.
The bombs themselves were homemade, consisting of bags containing acid placed over nitroglycerine. They were inserted into books and placed on the shelves of the libraries just before closing time. Several hours later, as the acid ate through the bags, the bombs exploded.
When one bomb ignited prematurely in his pocket, Egyptian authorities arrested suspect Robert Dassa. In searching his apartment, they found incriminating evidence and the names of his accomplices in the operation. Several suspects were arrested, including Egyptian Jews and undercover Israelis, who admitted their roles in the plot, which had been authorized at the highest levels of the Zionist entity.
Israeli authorities reacted to the incident with vociferous denials and charges of "anti-Semitism." But the fact that the Jewish state was behind the bombings could not be concealed, and in 1960 Israel's Defense Minister Pinhas Lavon was brought down by the scandal, along with the entire Israeli government.
FOOTNOTE: This is not the only time the Jewish entity has attacked the United States and tried to blame the Arabs for their own treachery. During the 1967 Mideast war, the Israelis attempted to sink a U.S. intelligence-gathering ship, the USS Liberty, in a vicious, unprovoked, premeditated attack, which left 34 American servicemen dead and another 171 badly wounded and maimed for life. The Jews intended to blame the Egyptians for the attack, thus tricking the U.S. into war against that Arab country. Miraculously, the unprotected vessel survived the assault, and the true story of this treacherous attack by America's special pet in the Middle East eventually emerged.

between Marissa Tharp, 20, of New Boston, Ill., and ex-convict Shauntez
"Shaun" Hairston, 25, of Edwardsville, Ill., whom police say had been dating

On Thursday, Hairston was charged with first-degree murder for the beating
and strangulation of Tharp, a college co-ed who called her parents Monday
night to say she was on her way home from Davenport. By early afternoon
Tuesday, her body was discovered in a run-down mobile home in Alorton, Ill.,
a tiny community located near East St. Louis.
"It didn't matter who you were or what you looked like, she was decent to
everybody," he said. "If there was an All-American girl, she was right up
there with them."

NEW BOSTON, Ill. - Marissa Tharp was remembered Wednesday by her father as a
girl with a "glowing personality and presence."
The body of the 20-year-old New Boston, Ill., woman was found about 1 p.m.
Tuesday by police in a mobile home in Alorton, Ill., near East St. Louis.
The woman was last was seen Monday when she left her job as a waitress at
Flood Waters in Muscatine. She later called her family late Monday from
Davenport saying she was heading home.
But she never got there.
Now, family and authorities are trying to find out what happened to the
former Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville student and how she
ended up back in the area where she formerly attended college.
"She talked to her mom about 11:30 p.m. Monday and said she was going to
watch the fireworks over in Davenport," said her father, Kenny Tharp. "She
talked to her sister about midnight and said she was on her way home."
"We waited and waited for her and she never came. It's a parent's worst
nightmare."
The next day, he said he went to the Mercer County Sheriff's Department in
Aledo to file a missing person report. He was sitting there when the
Illinois State Police in Carbondale called Mercer County authorities.
"In the process of contacting the Mercer County Sheriff's Department to
gather information on Ms. Tharp, it was learned that Ms. Tharp's father was
at the sheriff's department at that time trying to have her entered as a
missing person," said Master Sgt. Jim Morrissey from the District 11
Illinois State Police in Collinsville.
"Our understanding is that Ms. Tharp worked the Fourth of July at a business
in Muscatine, Iowa, and then got off in the late afternoon or early evening
hours and then she was found the following afternoon in our area," he said.
Her car was found in East St. Louis, he added, but it is unknown whether she
drove there herself or was forced.
"At this time we have no information on how Ms. Tharp came from the
Muscatine, Iowa, area to the Metro East here down by St. Louis," Morrissey
said. "Our indications are now that the incident (strangulation) occurred at
the trailer where Ms. Tharp's body was located."
He said the local police department received a call from the owner of the
trailer who had received information that there may have been an incident
inside the trailer. "So the owner along with the local Alorton Police
Department entered the trailer where they found Ms. Tharp," he said.
Kenny Tharp described his daughter as "an unbelievably beautiful girl, both
inside and out. She had such a glowing personality and presence. When she
walked into a room everyone knew she was there."
A 2003 graduate of Westmer High School where she was an outstanding
volleyball player and also pitched on the softball team, Marissa was going
to college to follow her dream of becoming a forensic pathologist.
Kenny Tharp said his daughter had met the suspect at school, and true to her
nature, she likely was trying to help someone who seemed to need help. He
said neither he nor the other family members had met the suspect.
"She had such a giving heart," Kenny Tharp said. "From the time she was in
pre-school to when she graduated from high school, she often came home
without her bookbag because she had given it to somebody else who needed it
worse than she did."
He said Marissa was raised, "in the sticks and when she went to school she
trusted everybody."
While her freshman year of college was spent at SIU, he said and concluded
her sophomore year at Western Illinois University in Macomb. Her desire to
help people was her motivation to study in the field of criminal justice, he
added.
"She also was a very good cook," Kenny Tharp said. "She was very bright and
had many goals. She will be missed."
Tharp was a student at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in 2003 and
2004, said university spokesman Greg Conroy. He said she returned to the
Edwardsville campus Feb. 5, but he was uncertain of her reason for the
visit.
About 10 days later, she called SIU-E police from Macomb, Ill., and said a
man she knew had grabbed her arm while they were inside a car on campus,
said campus detective Justin Lieberman. No charges were filed against that
man because she didn't make an in-person report, there were no witnesses and
the report was delayed, Lieberman said.
SIU-E police tried to talk with the man who Tharp had accused of grabbing
her, but he refused to be interviewed. Authorities on Wednesday were not
disclosing the name of the suspect, so it was not known if he was the same
man involved in the February dispute.
News spread quickly Wednesday in the Westmer School District area about her
death.
"She was just a fun-loving kid," said Jeanette Neels, a former Westmer
volleyball coach and teacher. "Volleyball was her favorite sport and she
loved it. She always came back to see me after she went off to college. I
feel for her family right now."

COLLINSVILLE - On Thursday, July 7, 2005, Shauntez T. Hairston, 25, of
Edwardsville, was charged by the St. Clair County States Attorney with First
degree murder in connection with the death of Marissa N. Tharp, 20, of New
Boston. Hairston was taken into custody by Illinois State Police
investigators on July 5, 2005, at an address in East St. Louis, shortly
after the body of Tharp was found in a trailer in Alorton. Hairston remains
incarcerated at the St. Clair County Jail in Belleville. Bond is set at
$1,000,000.
The public is reminded that criminal defendants are presumed innocent until
the government is able to prove its charges in court beyond a reasonable
doubt.

She was born Jan. 4, 1985 in Aledo, the daughter of Kenneth and Mary Wagner
Tharp. She was a 2003 graduate of Westmer High School, Joy, where she was on
the National Honor Society and played volleyball. Marissa was attending
Western Illinois University, just completing her sophomore year.
She had worked at Sloan's Produce Market and the Dairy Delight in New
Boston. She was currently working as a waitress at Flood Waters in
Muscatine, Iowa.
She enjoyed swimming and loved the river. She was a member of First
Christian Church in Keithsburg.
Survivors include her parents, Kenny and Mary Tharp, New Boston, one sister,
Erica Tharp, New Boston, grandparents, Irvin and Kay Tharp, Keithsburg,
Clyde "Dig" and Leila Wagner, New Boston; great grandmother, Evelyn Link,

If the west understood the meaning of the Muslim terrorism against Israel
and of contemporary Muslim anti-Semitism, it would be far better prepared to
fight the sort of terrorism that struck London last week.
However, as almost always happens, too many dismiss anti-Semitism as the

First, it sounds racist.

As for chauvinism, there is not a hint of inherent superiority in the claim
of Jewish chosenness. In fact, the Jewish Bible, the book that states the
Jews are chosen, constantly berates the Jews for their flawed behavior. No
holy work of any other religion is so critical of the religious group
affiliated with that holy work.
As for the claim of chosenness being irrational or even bizarre, it is so
only to an atheist. But anyone, even the atheist, must look at the evidence
and conclude that the Jews play a role in history that defies reason.
Without the Jews, there would be no Christianity (a fact acknowledged by the
great majority of Christians), no Islam (a fact acknowledged by few Muslims)
and nothing that developed in those cultures that was based on belief in the
God the Jews introduced to the world - such as science and the abolition of
slavery.

Less than 2 years after, and about 200 years after the death of
France's most famous fighter for free speech (Voltaire), our
"representatives" issued a draft for the definition of "antisemitism".
WORKING DEFINITION OF ANTISEMITISM
The purpose of this document is to provide a practical guide for
identifying incidents, collecting data, and supporting the
implementation and enforcement of legislation dealing with
antisemitism.
Working definition: "Antisemitism is a certain perception of Jews,
which may be expressed as hatred toward Jews. Rhetorical and physical
manifestations of antisemitism are directed toward Jewish or non-Jewish
individuals and/or their property, toward Jewish community institutions
and religious facilities."
In addition, such manifestations could also target the state of Israel,

Antisemitism frequently charges Jews with conspiring to harm humanity,

sinister stereotypes and negative character traits.
Contemporary examples of antisemitism in public life, the media,
schools, the workplace, and in the religious sphere could, taking into
account the overall context, include, but are not limited to:
* Calling for, aiding, or justifying the killing or harming of Jews in
the name of a radical ideology or an extremist view of religion.
* Making mendacious, dehumanizing, demonizing, or stereotypical
allegations about Jews as such or the power of Jews as collective ?
such as, especially but not exclusively, the myth about a world Jewish
conspiracy or of Jews controlling the media, economy, government or
other societal institutions.
* Accusing Jews as a people of being responsible for real or imagined
wrongdoing committed by a single Jewish person or group, or even for
acts committed by non-Jews.
* Denying the fact, scope, mechanisms (e.g. gas chambers) or
intentionality of the genocide of the Jewish people at the hands of
National Socialist Germany and its supporters and accomplices during
World War II (the Holocaust).
* Accusing the Jews as a people, or Israel as a state, of inventing or
exaggerating the Holocaust.
* Accusing Jewish citizens of being more loyal to Israel, or to the
alleged priorities of Jews worldwide, than to the interests of their
own nations.
Examples of the ways in which antisemitism manifests itself with regard
to the state of Israel taking into account the overall context could
include:
? Denying the Jewish people their right to self-determination, e.g., by
claiming that the existence of a State of Israel is a racist endeavor.
? Applying double standards by requiring of it a behavior not expected
or demanded of any other democratic nation.
* Using the symbols and images associated with classic antisemitism
(e.g., claims of Jews killing Jesus or blood libel) to characterize
Israel or Israelis.
* Drawing comparisons of contemporary Israeli policy to that of the
Nazis.
* Holding Jews collectively responsible for actions of the state of
Israel.
However, criticism of Israel similar to that leveled against any other
country cannot be regarded as antisemitic.
Antisemitic acts are criminal when they are so defined by law (for
example, denial of the Holocaust or distribution of antisemitic
materials in some countries).
Criminal acts are antisemitic when the targets of attacks, whether they
are people or property'such as buildings, schools, places of worship
and cemeteries?are selected because they are, or are perceived to be,
Jewish or linked to Jews.
Antisemitic discrimination is the denial to Jews of opportunities or
services available to others and is illegal in many countries.

decision to publish a book that harshly criticizes him.

Governors are asked by members of the public to do lots of things, but the
request Arnold Schwarzenegger got from Alan Dershowitz in December was
unique: to intervene with the University of California Press' plans to
publish a book. Why does Dershowitz care? Because the book in question -
Norman Finkelstein's "Beyond Chutzpah," due out next month - is harshly
critical of Dershowitz.
Schwarzenegger, to his credit, answered with an unequivocal "no." The
governor's legal advisor wrote Dershowitz: "You have asked for the
Governor's assistance in preventing the publication of this book," but "he
is not inclined to otherwise exert influence in this case because of the
clear, academic freedom issue it presents."
Thus the star of "The Terminator" sought to teach a lesson about academic
freedom to a Harvard law professor.
But Dershowitz's campaign against the book went beyond his letter to
Schwarzenegger.
He had his lawyers send belligerent letters to dozens of people who might
have power over the process. A letter from attorney Rory Millson of Cravath,
Swaine & Moore, for instance, was dispatched to Lynne Withey, director of
the UC Press, declaring that "the press's decision to publish this book"
lends "legitimacy to the wholly illegitimate" and is "part of a conspiracy
to defame" Dershowitz. It concludes, "The only way to extricate yourself is
immediately to terminate all professional contact with this full-time
malicious defamer." In a letter to members of the faculty editorial
committee, Dershowitz calls on them to "reconsider your decision."

LAPD Chief Defends Officers in Shooting

A toddler girl was shot and killed when her intoxicated father used her as a shield during a fiery gunbattle with police following a standoff that lasted three hours, authorities said.
Police Chief William Bratton said Monday that his officers were well within department policy when they shot car wash owner Jose Raul Pena, 34, on Sunday. Pena also was killed; an officer was shot in the shoulder but was expected to recover.
"You aren't going to stand there with somebody shooting at you," Bratton said. "The person responsible for any loss of life ... was the individual who held his child out as a shield and continued to shoot."
The 19-month-old child's mother, Lorena Lopez, said she pleaded with officers to hold their fire.
"He had problems with depression, his business was not doing well," Lopez told KNBC-TV. "I told them that he needed help, he needs a psychologist, but please don't shoot. They didn't understand, and the police fired, like, 300 shots."

Yesterday evening at 2055hrs BST the BNP website broke the news that Leeds city centre had been sealed off with motorists and pedestrians being diverted away from the centre.
A search for webcams of Leeds city centre showed the normally busy Millenium Square outside the civic hall completely deserted on this warm summer's evening.
A BNPtv cameraman captured footage of an army bomb disposal team unloading one of its robots and police setting up roadblocks.
Silence
At this stage 0745hrs on Monday 11th, there are no reports from the established media and West Yorkshire police are only commenting on the events of Sunday evening in the most vague of termssaying that officers dealt with an "incident" in the city centre.
It may have been a training exercise or it may have been a response to a specific threat. At this stage we do not know.
One thing is for sure, after the terror attacks on Thursday, Britain now looks forward to a summer of chaos and the lives of millions of us in every town and city in the country will be disrupted as we go about our work and leisure.
