Deconstructing the Right to Own Guns in America

“Waldman,” huh? I’m guessing that’s not an Irish surname. Anyway, if you read the writings and speeches of America’s founders, you will see that they believed in the individual right to own guns [1]. In the founders’ era, the people (not the government) were the militia. The people used their own guns in the militia. Today’s National Guard is not the same thing as a citizen’s army. Granted, the 2nd Amendment should have been more clearly-worded.
