Unfortunately, Devito is wrong. If he was right, America wouldn’t have Blacks and Browns in Congress and in every state legislature; America wouldn’t have Black judges, Black police chiefs and Mexican mayors, and we wouldn’t have elected a mulatto president twice. (Actually, Blacks, Browns and Jews are more ethnocentric [racist] than Whites are, and that’s precisely the problem).
