Slight correction: I previously said that 2 Jews were the godfathers of left-wing socialism. Oops. Actually, 3 Jews are the godfathers of left-wing socialism: Moses Hess (1812-1875), Ferdinand Lassalle (1825-1864) and Eduard Bernstein (1850-1932). I didn’t count enough noses. Sorry.
