The song is called “This Has Gotta Stop” by Eric Clapton. “Music legend Eric Clapton, the 76-year-old guitarist, singer and songwriter from England, has released a new single, “This Has Gotta Stop”, in protest of COVID-19 restrictions, lockdowns, and pushes for mandatory vaccination.” [Video, 4 minutes].

British rocker David Bowie (1947-2016) was the first major he/she, circa 1971. Was he a he? A she? Both! Was he queer? Straight? Nobody really knew! It was all a mystery. As such, Bowie paved the way for today’s tranny movement. He made androgyny and sexual weirdness seem hip and cool. Thanks, David Jones! (his […]

“Piece of Mind” (1983) by Iron Maiden. [Here]. (By the way, I would avoid, if I were you, the song “Run To The Hills” on their previous album “The Number of the Beast” which is about the U.S. cavalry vs. the Indians and is rather appalling. This album, however, seems pretty good, and has very […]

Buddy Holly & The Crickets, “Peggy Sue.” Notice how they don’t need any fancy lighting or other stage gimmicks. Buddy Holly and Bill Haley were probably the only top rock acts who didn’t sing Black blues-based rock. Look at the Rolling Stones: totally Black-based. Led Zepp, too. (Of course, the later prog rock wasn’t blues-based, […]

This song, by the British rock group Supertramp, while it’s a good tune melodically, is criticizing conservative thought (in this case, the type of thought one learns at boarding school in the UK). After all, one cannot be sensible and logical! How horrible! Oh, those teachers are cruel! (Actually, today’s teachers are all commies, so […]

This footage takes you back to a time and a place (granted, that wasn’t the best time, usually at least). I like how she brings the fans up onto the stage during the second song. (Did you know that there were two Janis Joplins? The first one was Janis and the second one was Robert […]

Where do fruit go on vacation? Meloncamp. Ha-ha! A knee-slapper. “Small Town” by John Mellencamp. I spent a lot of time in a small town; I miss it. It’s probably dead by now. Most of its citizens, no doubt, have fled to the big cosmopolitan cities. That is called “progress” for some reason. How is […]

Cream, “Disraeli Gears” (1967, full album). Don’t let the title fool you. It has zero to do with Benjamin Disraeli and everything to do with a ten-speed bicycle (derailleur gears). It’s a joke of sorts. One of the band members kept calling the bike’s gears “Disraeli gears.” [Audio; 32 minutes].
