I was curious how other members of this board became aware and racially awake?
I know for myself. I was brought up to never mix with other races. I rebelled and as normal teens do and had friends for a bit of all races (friends not lovers or boyfriends, let me state that before you crazy vnn'ers go off the hook). After becoming a mother I saw the importance of preserving my race and heritage.
