So any half assed piece of shit can sneak up on US ships and take a shot at it? Sounds like another excuse to step up the fight on "terroism":rolleyes:

First, forget about the diesel aspect of the sub. It was running electric on battery at the time. Nevertheless, IT SHOULD STILL HAVE BEEN AS LOUD AS A FUCKIN' CIRCUS COMMING TO TOWN!

As far a some conspiracy regarding 'rouge' sonar operators, this can be ruled out. There were just too many of them for this to be a credible possibility.

What I do suspect is a new Russian stealth technology provided to the Chinese, and tested in this incident WITH GLORIOUS SUCCESS!

The surfacing of the Chi-sub in the incident was also obviously intentional to inform the U.S. of the new capability for them to take it into consideration in any future military plans it may have in mind (Taiwan, North Korea, and the hotly contested new deep water mega oil field discovery between China and Japan for example).

Israel must certainly be wailing and pissing all over themselves to get their boney [K]lawz on this for their own German made diesel Dolphin subs.

That is just a release for public consumption . We have no way to tell if it was detected or not , that information would be highly classified .
