Just a general observation.
A few places traditionally with less levels of ethnocentrism would places like France and Sweden. Nordic peoples generally have low levels of ethnocentrism. Yet Portuguese (who aren't Nordic) historically have also shown low levels of resistance in regards to wanting to preserve their genes and pretty much mixed where ever they went.
Places with stronger senses of ethnocentrism would be Germanic peoples, Saxons, Celts and to a lessor extent Slavs. Germanic peoples (inc Scotland and Ireland) have shown much more resistance in not mixing with lower humans, whether it be their descendants in America, Australia or Europe.
Is ethnocentrism genetic? Why have places like France always been a den of pathetic die hard liberals ready to throw away their genes? While places like Germany show a lot more pride and resistance?
I'm of the opinion there is strong genetic factors at play here.
