I requested and signed for higher priced synthetic motor oil. Very specific that I wanted Mobile 1 5w-30 synthetic which is the brand I have used and paid for for over 2 years at this Jiffy Lube.

I noticed them placing a cheaper Penzoil brand in my vehicle. When I confronted the technician told me they made a mistake and would drain it and put in the correct oil that I asked for.

He then asked me (sarcastically) if I wanted a chair and popcorn so I could watch them do it correctly. When I told them that I obviously needed to watch so I didn't get ripped off, another employee pulled off his jacket and asked if I wanted to fight.

I told them to just get my truck done so I could leave. We continued with a verbal altercation with them calling me names in spanish (maricone) and the gentleman who wanted to fight stating to the other tech that this is why he hates whites.

While I was paying 89.00 for my incomplete oil change, the tech, while seated in another families car, asked my friend what she was staring at, stating, "what are you looking at, do you like me, you must want me".

This angered another female customer with kids behind us to the point that she wanted her husband to leave Jiffy Lube. (A regional manager has contacted me in this dispute telling me that derogatory comments were made by me which is what provoked these employees. I told him to pull the video of the incident and he stated they were in the process of pulling the audio and video and would have another district manager call me on Monday.)

I made no such comments to these employees and everything said should have been captured on the CCTV. I can't wait to hear the excuse of why the audio and video is not available.

Use caution while using Jiffy Lube International in LA, with the jailhouse mentality of the unskilled laborers who work there, your next oil change could be your last!
