A 27-year-old pregnant Pasco woman was stabbed multiple times in the chest and her nearly full-term baby was cut from her womb before her body was left in Columbia Park late Friday, police said today.
When Araceli Camacho Gomez was found, her hands and feet were bound with yarn and she had “massive trauma to her stomach area,” court documents said.
Phiengchai Sisouvanh Synhavong is accused of committing the gruesome crime and trying to pass the infant boy off as her own, officials say.
The 23-year-old Kennewick woman appeared in Benton County Superior Court this afternoon where she was ordered held without bail in the county jail.
Phiengchai Sisouvanh, 23, of Kennewick appears Monday during preliminary hearings in Benton County Superior Court in the stabbing death of Araceli Camacho Gomez, 27, of Pasco. Sisouvanh is being held on investigation of aggravated first degree murder.
