Yes, most Sikhs don't even realize this themselves. They've fallen victim for a false construction. It's quite sad, given the ironic and colonial nature of this construction.

In my opinion based on working with these people (East Indians), they are the laziest god damned people on the face of the earth. Not only that, but they typically will not assimilate after they get off the boat.

During break time at the manufacturing plant I worked in, gobs of them would rush over to the complimentary tea that was provided, cutting you off and shoving their way in front of anyone who wasn't one of them. They would also chatter away in their cursed language and make fun of all outsiders.
