Hand-held lasers are getting better, if you can afford one lol. These green ones are visible along the entire beam, which is good and bad

Check out the "burning cup" video...

Probably already here, but I bet they cost millions and are too heavy to carry around. Anything you could carry in your hand right now would have to be held perfectly still or it would be about as harmful to the target as a warm breeze, unless you're just a few feet away. Bad for the eyes, though. I remember reading something years ago about an american pilot being blinded with a laser by the Russians when he was flying somewhere he shouldn't have been.

I'm too old and civic-minded to enjoy the tagging ritual, but can't help fantasizing about a computerized lazer outfit one could use from a car. Imagine a programmable and more powerful version of one of those cheesy laser-light shows you can buy now. Etch a perfect image or slogan of your choosing on an object in a few seconds, and from a safe distance. Juvenile delinquency of tomorrow! :)

OK for argument's sake let's say you have about 50K to spend on three items for yourself for Christmas. Not including anything related to WN folks, dont get preachy here, lets do this for fun.

1. Volkswagen Touareg. This is one badass little vehicle. I guess I couldnt get the V10 for 50k but something a little down from the top model.

2. Steyr Scout Rifle. http://remtek.com/arms/steyr/scout/scout.htm

3. I would like a nice prewar edition of MK from Germany in the old Gothic script.

OK folks lets hear your list of 3 items just for you., I am curious what self identified WN folks would like on their list just for fun, entirely selfish.

1. 2005 Lexus GS 430 MSRP $48,625

2. Ju-87 Stuka dive bomber and flight lessons...shouldnt cost more than 50k

3. 45 $1,000 high class call girls, 14 bottles of Krug's Clos du Mesnil(350.00 a bottle) champagne, and a video camera.
