Brousing some WPP stuff and thinking bout the good ole days, I ran across this and decided to share. Why ?? Because I'm proud of it and I wanted to give younger WNs a glimpse of WN in the 80s.

Speech was given in Feb 85 on the steps of the NC legislative building in downtown Raleigh. TV debate staged inside Raleigh's WTVD TV studio also located downtown. A half dozen burly uniformed bodyguards in close attendance so I'd feel safe running my mouth, uncomprised.

Thought some of you might get a kick out of it, maybe even inspired a little. And just imagine having a reasonably well led, 5,000 strong, active-in-the-streets, uncompromisingly pro-white and anti-semitic organization to join or support nowadays, and without holding your nose tightly.

I wrote that poem, btw, sipping on Natural Lites, at my kitchen table, with War Songs of the Third Reich softly in background for inspiration. Not a bad poet for a redneck, eh ??

Along with camouflage uniforms, we wore Army rank insignia on our collars, upside down; confederate patch on left shoulder, and veterans were allowed patches they earned, including parachutist badge and Vietnam battle patch on right shoulder. We had lots of active and inactive marines and soldiers from nearby Fort Bragg and Camp Leguene. Our most dedicated members were allowed to wear Green Berets. No rank higher than First Sergeant, which was my highest rank held while in the Army. Our second in command, Steve Miller was a Master Sergeant, and our chapter leaders were Staff Sergeants, and so on and so forth on down the line. Unlike many klans at the time, we didn't have 3 and 4 star generals and everybody else colonels, lieutenant colonels, or majors.

We doubled in number to a little over 5,000 during our final 6 months and prior to my July 86 court conviction and court-ordered exile from the white movement. Our momentum was breath taking and accelerating. Almost a hundred chapters in 8 states. I was getting so much mail, mostly dues, new membership applications, and donations, my mail man pulled in my yard and pleadingly suggested I either open a PO box in town, or get a bigger mail box.

Oh, what glory days !!!
