People can bitch all they want about how she should be kept alive while they hide behind their religious or political ideas about what they see as "right" or "wrong" But, in reality, I don't think anyone, if they were in her position would choose to live in such a condition. It really is so easy to go with that position and not have to honestly think about it when you are healthy and normal.

It is not a matter of religion it is a matter of love for your family and or will to live. As I see everyone here would just as quickly take the option to roll over and die. Life support costs around $200 a day, which is around 6 grand a month. Here one can be put on prolonged life support for about $100 a day. I would have to see some proof of that $80,000 a day figure. You would have to be extremely slow to believe that there is a hospital bill that costs eighty grand a day. I don’t even believe that the hospital and lawyer bills could cost that much. My lawyer costs $600 an hour and I have never had to pay more than a couple grand a day. And the most expensive stay I have heard of in the hospital is around $3,000 a day and that is for some major care with all the trimmings.

Anyway at $100 a day that amounts to around $3,000 a month. I am sure if there was hope I or one of my family members would come out of whatever her state is (I don’t watch the news so I don’t know the full story, I get my news from VNNF) I am sure the rest of my family could swing $3,000 a month.

The question should be how many of you would just roll over and die in a no win situation against the Jews it is about the same thing. She has a chance of coming out of her condition and we have a chance of defeating the Jews. Apparently the ideology here is when things look bleak give up.

Yet another thing is it is big to sit behind a computer using an anonymous screen name (no offence Rich) and talk macho. It reminds me of my uncle when he got sick and his son in law said if he was ever in that condition he wanted to be either put to death or in a home. Ironically the very next year he was in worse condition and was begging for everyone to NOT give up on him. He didn’t want any of his family to leave his side for any reason.

Then would you be so eager to pull the plug on your family member? Unlike many here I had a healthy childhood and a good relationship with my parents. Like most healthy white people we stick together. We are Christian together, we are racist together and if one has a problem the rest pitch in and pull him or her out like one cohesive unit. Perhaps some would like nothing more than the opportunity to pull the plug on their family legally but I for one would explore every opportunity before giving up on my family.

Doc, the $80,000 figure was quoted on the Bill O'Reilly Show, a source usually sympathetic to pro-life and religious right positions. While I can't say that O'Reilly is an unimpeachible source, I can't believe he pulled out that figure from thin air.

Bill is full of baloney. Think about it for a second. Let’s say $2,000 a day for the room and $4,000 a day for equipment and another $2,000 for the people. Then add another $2,000 for whatever and those are grossly inflated figures. That only amounts to about $10,000 a day at the most. The average cost is around $300 for someone in her condition although it can rise to $1,500. Unless Bill provided an itemized bill I will still say he is either liar or full of garbage.

I would have seen some itemized proof before I quoted that figure Rich. I don’t doubt for a second Bill said it but that doesn’t make it so.
