Blogs (short for weblogs) are an unexploited niche for the White Nationalist message. According to this study, 50 million Americans visited a "blog" website in the first quarter of 2005, with political blogs being the most popular. Browsing the Internet is the number one time-wasting activity of office workers, with browsing blogs being one of the most popular uses of the Internet.
Blog visitors tend to be educated and rich, and are therefore more likely to be part of the opinion-setting elite of society. Therefore it is essential to target them with the WN message for it to have any chance of success.
However, there seems to be a complete dearth of WN blogs. Most leftist and neocon blogs are shitty (being leftist and neocon), but the "blog-o-sphere" is a way for leftists and neocons to sustain a sense of online community and give themselves mutual reinforcement of their ideas. I don't really like the whole "blog" concept in general (it's usually just narcissism) but if there was a large community of WN blogs (in addition to several large forums) this would be an invaluable way of spreading the WN message. Each site should have a "blogroll" of links to like-minded blogs (and to sites like VNN and SF), so that visitors who like the message can pursue WN ideas further.
Starting your own blog is as easy as setting up an account on blogger.com or one of the other free blog-hosting services. If you make yourself do one post a week starting up your own blog is easily achieveable. It's also a good way of "humanising" the WN movement and dispelling the stereotype of "hateful Nazi White Supremacists". Typical blog posts are "news story + commentary", "personal experience relevant to WN ideas" or "publicism of WN events/media". Link your blog in your .sig when posting on a WN forum.
Weblogs can act in parallel as "force multipliers" for other WN media. For example, fliers can give web addresses of blogs or sites like VNN, and conversely WN blogs can publicise/offer-commentary-on/hype-up print publications like TAA or webradio shows like Goyfire.

It sounds like a good idea, I am not sure though they won't remove your blog after the first "I am jewish and I am offended by that blog, take it down" mails come in.
Any recommendations?

You can host your own site on your home PC using http://www.no-ip.com and apache webserver (free download from http://www.apache.org). You have to keep your PC on 24/7 however.
In practise I don't think that it would be a problem. Blogger has hundreds of thousands of users and a very pro "free speech" policy. I doubt even a highly-resourced organisation like the ADL would have the time to scan through all of them looking for anti-Semitic content.

Paradoxically, you might be better off going with a paid hosting service, because if you have paid money and they have entered into a contract with you to provide hosting services they will have to come up with a better reason to bump you than "someone got offended".

Enzedblue why don't you start one and see how it works it out? That way the rest of us can go there and write posts. Do these individual blogs get much hits though? Might be worth doing if enough people find the page who are interested in WN and come to VNN page.

VNN IS THE MOTHER OF ALL WHITE BLOGS! Why waste time doing it oneself?
Now I think blogs can be directed towards fellow-traveller groups and use subtle hints to "harvest" new WN leads. I know one innovative fellow who's doing that but I wont finger his blogs to y'all because Jewboy is watchin. But if you guys get the gist of the idea you could do the same.
All it takes is INITIATIVE!

Individual WN blogs would not be competing with VNN, they would be augmenting it by providing discussion and hype for VNN media such as Goyfire. As far as the time-wasting goes, setting up a blog takes only slightly longer than registering for a forum, and each post would take only about as long to compose as starting a new thread on a forum like VNN. Also, it's not mutually exclusive: you can put up a post on a blog and then copy and paste it to VNN as a new thread with a link back to your blog. Only takes a minute.
The investment in terms of time is small (especially compared to the amount of time people already spend posting to WN forums), the money investment is zero, and the potential return in terms of increased traffic to VNN and other WN sites in general is huge.
Enzedblue why don't you start one and see how it works it out? That way the rest of us can go there and write posts.
I already have a website (still work in progress, I'll be adding a links page soon). If you want to submit content feel free to PM me, but why bother when you can set up your own blog in half an hour? What have you got to lose? Just use a hotmail account if you are worried about being "outed".

Individually most blogs don't get very many hits, but collectively they do. If everyone who has registered on VNN and made it to 100 posts had their own blog, then we would have the beginnings of a blog community to rival the neocon and leftist "blog-o-sphere". It's not important if a blog only gets 50 hits a month if half of those visitors click through to VNN and 20% of those register on the forum. That's 5 new forum members. Multiply that by 50-100 blogs and it starts to become significant. The smaller blogs act as lightening rods to conduct traffic to the larger sites like VNN. It's all about getting as many lines in the water as possible.
Remember, this is not a hypothetical pie-in-the-sky. This is how the neocon and leftist blog community already works. We just have to emulate it (and extend it with our own ideas).
All it takes is INITIATIVE!
