First off let me say that I was totally unprepared for the impact The Turner Diaries had on me. I first heard about the book after the media connected Timothy McVeigh to it so I became curious. I was always racially aware and used to read Gary Allen books but didn't know the ultimate aim of the conspiracy was our racial extinction. I devoured the book in less than two days. Each page was like a slap in the face but I think there is a lot of black humor in the book too, such as the early scene with the glass jar of kosher pickles scoring a direct hit in the face of the screaming yenta in the liquor store.
Dr. Pierce may not have been Balzac but he had an amazing talent to enable to reader to perfectly visualize a scene with an economy of words. If ever there was a book that lends itself to the cinema this is it.

For me the most haunting scene is when Earl Turner encounters the young redheaded girl who tells the sad story of her upbringing under her radical feminist mother. I kept picturing Hillary Clinton in my head as the mother.

Pierce was such a keen observer of archetypes that we are immediately familiar with all the characters.

I doubt I will ever read anything that powerful again.

First that comes to my mind is the cleaning up of California and "taking out the trash" so to speak. A bright spot in the book giving a person a bit of hope of what "could" be one day. ;)

My pick also. Get all the niggers, mexicans and assorted mud-men and march them straight into Mexico.

I read it but I don't think it was a very prophetic book, I don't doubt that blacks would slaughter whites and eat them in the aftermath of a nuclear war, but I seriously doubt we would be able to fend off attacks from countries like China, who will be completely unaffected by our internal struggles.
China and other countries will simply purchase us, they will simply assume control over our companies, first, then our schools, then our government, it's all about who remains in control of themselves, they wait for you to lose control of yourselves, then they take control of you.

Just like Bush saying illegal immigration is good for our country, people who say China needs us are just as delusional. Look around your house at all the things that say 'made in china', what do they need from the rest of the world? What do they need someone else to manufacture for them?
ON the other hand, look at the shirt on your back and ask yourself, who is going to cloth you if the chinese don't?

I was more impressed with the parts where he drifted away from the immediate story and into National Alliance philosophy.

I bought TD surreptitiously at a gun show, wondering why it was so popular, but reading from the back cover something that it had to do with race.

Well, I had it done within 48 hours, muy pronto. At first I was cringing and looking over my shoulder but by the end I was emotionally sold.

I can remember lots of good parts, and some lines, but I would like to hear other people talk about their impressions and recollections first.

The TD is no "blueprint" for revolution as some have tried to claim, but it's a good explication of Dr. Pierce's ideology, not to mention a gripping page-turner.

I read the TD for the first time in highschool, and as a youth was pretty much swept away by it. I enjoyed it far more than I did Red Dawn, which at the time I liked too.

There were many memorable parts. One that stands out is the very opening scene when "Tepper" and his negro deputies invade Turner's apt looking for firearms. We see a similar day coming closer now, with the gradual encroachments on habeas corpus in the form of the "Patriot Act". (What will you do when they come to take your guns?)

Another memorable part is much later when the Organization is trying to vacate the non-walking non-Whites. They get some negro helpers to hot-wire various vehicles and pack the invalids off. At one point some old negro falls off a car and cracks his skull, which immediately causes the young negros who were sending him off to roar with laughter. I thought this scene was macabre, comical and insightful all at the same time.

In the army my lieutenant told me Tim McVey read the Turner Diaries and that there was a blueprint for a truck bomb in it. After I was out of the service and was getting to the point of advanced anti-government libertarianism, I bought the book and when I was finished I was extremely disappointed that there was no plans for a bomb inside. It also brought up the question again that always went through my head when I had seen "Nazi" demonstrations on TV, "Why do they hate Jews so much?"

If you have not read this book, you are not a White Nationalist and you have no business calling yourself a racist. The Turner Diaries is a prophetic book and that is certainly evidenced by events that have transpired since the book was published. I will not discount anything written by Dr. Pierce. I'll leave that shit-talk to the jews.

This part had my imagination soaring:

"Mortars are marvelous little weapons, especially for guerrilla warfare. They drop their deadly rounds silently and almost vertically onto their target. They can be fired from total cover, and persons in the target area cannot tell from which direction the projectiles are coming."

The ink of the learned is as precious as the blood of the martyr. For one drop of ink may make millions think.

Its difficult to make a decision, but the part I like most is where NYC gets a barrage first from Vandenberg and then from the Russkies, and where the TV kike loses his self-control because of it.

Wow, you took the words right out of my mouth. The mortar description and the subsequent attacks on the Capitol Hill gangsters was memorable to me.

I got my copy of the Turner Diaries from a large public library. Imagine that. Though it came with a disclaimer that the book was available simply as a disturbing look into the mind of the hard core revolutionary racist. I suppose that's why it was shelved there at all.

So many things struck me about the book. Not so much the writing (which was passable) but the tale and the real world fantasy aspect of it.

I liked the hideout. They used a converted auto repair garage (I think) and took every possible precaution to keep their hideout disguised and their whereabouts unknown. That was cool. Each character in the story was an expert at something. And together they were a formidable unit. Women were included in the story. That was a plus.

I liked the bank heists for funding. Who doesn't really admire a good team of organized white bank robbers, deep down? Then there was the constant communication between various cells nationwide. That was cool. It lended the story the aspect of something huge, something bigger than just a rogue group of criminals.

And Pierce also showed that the resistance fighters were the good guys. That the Kwa is indeed too far gone to be repaired and that the only way out is full scale race war with an entirely new government structure and social organization as the ultimate goal. The alternative to this is 200 years of decline and finally a total collapse wherein the white race is reduced to an endangered species comprising 2% of the world's population. That'll make the jews happy. Let whitey know how they've been feeling: like a tiny minority in a hostile world.

But the best aspect of it all was the one that played to the Survivalist in all of us. The end comes, the cops come to round up the dissenters and disarm everyone and the white man packs his stuff on his back, grabs his weapons, and heads for the hills to engage in guerilla warfare. We as a people have grown soft on our modern luxury and decadence. Most of us wouldn't last three days if tossed into the wilderness to battle the harsh elements of indifferent nature. TTD shows the White man and the White woman at their best, battling insurmoutable odds and at war with a system that does nothing but oppress and harass them. Struggle is not paying bills and fighting traffic and worrying about zogbux and whether or not the Steelers will win the big one. TTD shows what real struggle is about along with urban warfare, resistance, and fighting for something much larger than our puny and insignificant selves.

RAHOWA.

Yeah, we're all just a bunch of hateful anti-semites

i checked it out of the local library and it was the only book I'd ever seen there, or anywhere, that had a warning label on it

WARNING: THIS BOOK CONTAINS RACIAL PROPOGANDA!

lol, jesus fucking Christ, we never see that warning on any TV shows or movies or books about black racial propoganda, or jew racial propoganda.

The bible isn't jewish racial propoganda?

I knew they put books like that on the shelf to track suspected 'terrorists', but i mean, if i was really a criminal I would probably steal it anyways.

I will have to say three parts are my favorite.

1. Where they shoot the carload of niggers and mudsharks to keep their hideout undiscovered.

2. Any part where the main character is repairing things on a zero budget.

3. The part of the novel dealing with the interrogation / testing of men to join the elite core.

Channon and Chris; gone but not forgotten.

Fuck you hippie, you are the system.

This is a very fun book. What I especially like about it is that Pierce picks thoughts out of anti-racists minds, and tears apart their arguments while at the same time telling a story. He understood just as many anti-racists as racists would read his book, and therefore wrote parts of the book to the anti-racists for the intent of belittling them, while giving sensible people a good laugh.

Additionally, it's a good book just for the sake of letting a person escape reality for a bit and imagine a world where things are in the process of improving.

My favorite part is chapter 23, which begins:

August 1, 1993. Today has been the Day of the Rope-a grim and bloody day, but an unavoidable one. Tonight, for the first time in weeks, it is quiet and totally peaceful throughout all of southern California. But the night is filled with silent horrors; from tens of thousands of lampposts, power poles, and trees throughout this vast metropolitan area the grisly forms hang.

In the lighted areas one sees them everywhere. Even the street signs at intersections have been pressed into service, and at practically every street corner I passed this evening on my way to HQ there was a dangling corpse, four at every intersection. Hanging from a single overpass only about a mile from here is a group of about 30, each with an identical placard around its neck bearing the printed legend, "I betrayed my race." Two or three of that group had been decked out in academic robes before they were strung up, and the whole batch are apparently faculty members from the nearby UCLA campus.

:)

"These were no soft-bellied, conservative businessmen assembled for some Masonic mumbodumbo; no loudmouthed, beery red-necks letting off a little ritualized steam about "the goddam niggers"; no pious, frightened churchgoers whining for the guidance or protection of an anthropomorphic deity. These were real men, White men, men who were now one with me in spirit and consciousness as well as in blood." -- Earl Turner, The Turner Diaries
