Apparently this happened February 4th. Too bad I missed it.

Conley said one of the guest speakers will be Tom Martinez, a former member of a neo-nazi group called “The Order” and author of “Brotherhood of Murder.”

Conley said Martinez worked with the FBI to bring down “The Order” and now speaks about the dangers of hatred.

Other workshops will include activities such as yoga, lectures on subjects such as forgiveness and health education, as well as leadership activities.

Wish I had known about this. I would have busted in...

"Hey Tom, yer a fag! HAHA!"

Yeah, this guy's running around making money lecturing while David Lane, Richard Scutari, and Bruce Pierce are rotting in ZOG's jails. And he put them there!

I checked the link you posted, and I noticed they are soliciting comments. Hmmm....

It is one thing to turn away from the movement. It is another profiting by turning against it (TJ Leyden, the bloke who wrote 'Ex-Fuhrer', Martinez, Burdi [to the extent that he is cashing in on his infamous reputation]).

Hate Hurts - Wogs Kill

'At the end of his life he organized a financial offering for the poor in Jerusalem [Jew city] from the gentile churches he had founded.' - St. Paul [Jew], Oxford Companion to Class. Civ.

It's really unfair to put Burdi in with turncoasts Martinez and Leyden. Did you know Burdi gave a written interview to VNN a year or so ago? That's hardly the act of someone who is a complete sellout.

Sure, Burdi trades on his successful founding of Resistance. And Whites enjoy the ongoing benefits of his trailblazing in the White- RAC- arena.

http://www.vnnforum.com/showthread.php?t=2141&highlight=burdi+interview

http://www.vanguardnewsnetwork.com/2004b/42704burdiinterview.htm

1) Have you accepted any money, goods or assistance of any kind from individual Jews or Jewish "civil rights" organizations since your 'evolution' from White Power? Would you accept such, if offered?

I have not been offered any money or assistance of any kind from anyone. Any such offer would be declined, for several reasons, foremost amongst them my desire to remain independent of modern political objectives, tainted as they are by materialism and a worldview that is secular and divisive.

2) Have Jews offered you any assistance in obtaining record deals or production assistance for Novacosm? Do you expect any in the future?

While "Jewish organizations" have not offered such assistance, I have acquaintances who are Jewish, who are not members of "Jewish organizations," but who have offered to help promote Novacosm. None of these friends, however, are in any position to help me any more than my non-Jewish colleagues. The only way to help Novacosm is for the band to keep improving.

3) Are you still receiving money from Rahowa record sales? Do you have any financial strings at all to Rahowa or Resistance or any WP company?

When I left the movement in 1997, I cut all financial ties to Resistance. I have not received one dime, nor have I approached Resistance about the subject. Likewise, I have no ties to any other WP outfit.

So Burdi says he does not take money from them. If you can prove that's not so, do so, otherwise, dont paint with too broad of a brush.

I think George is a good guy, and not at all the volksverräter some claim.

I don't disagree with anything he wrote in his VNN interview, and I still consider him a personal friend.

The fact that the "traitor in room 14" still walks the earth is an embarrassment to White Nationalism, and he is only one example; John Patler resides comfortably in Brooklyn.

We should take a cue from our Russian comrades; they know how to deal with such vermin.

The same way people with names like "Martinez" tossed all kikes out of Spain in 1492.

I thought that they altered Martinez` identity?
Is he actually still openly walking about using his original name??
His name will go down in infamy in the annals of our Volk.

For the same reason than quite a few Martinezes were awarded the Iron Cross when they fought with the Wehrmacht on the Russian front. Hitler said that the Spanish were his best foreign fighters (after the Finnish). That is a huge compliment from a Nordicist, taking into account the amount of non-German Nordics in the German Armed Forces.

Sandi Simcha DuBowski
Director of Trembling Before G-d
Topic Areas: diversity

Sandi Simcha DuBowski is an award-winning documentary filmmaker, writer, and activist. The director of Trembling Before G-d, he intimately explores the ongoing struggle between the forces of sexuality, tradition, and religion. In Trembling, DuBowski tells the story of eight men and women, all Orthodox Jews, who have struggled both to find God in the Orthodox Jewish tradition and to accept their own homosexuality. The critically-acclaimed film has been extremely well received and has won praise from the mainstream film community, as well as the Jewish and gay press.

Trembling Before G-d: In his lectures and film-screenings, DuBowski explores the issues of sexuality and religion. His film helps to break down barriers and shatter stereotypes, and the dialog that follows generates an exciting discussion that transcends our sexual, traditional, and religious beliefs. His is a very unique program that offers audiences the rare opportunity to engage in exciting and spirited dialog about two of society’s most divisive issues.

Sandi Simcha DuBowski (Director, Producer) is a filmmaker and writer based in New York. His current project, Trembling Before G-d is currently in theatrical release in the United States, Israel, Canada, Germany, and in 2003, France, UK, Argentina, and Czech Republic (in the U.S. with New Yorker Films). Trembling Before G-d was launched at New York's Film Forum to incredible audience, critical, and box office response. It broke Film Forum's Opening Day box office records previously held by Paris Is Burning and is opening in over 80 U.S. cities. Trembling has been the recipient of twelve awards including The Teddy Award for Best Documentary at the Berlin Film Festival, The Mayor's Prize for the Jewish Experience at the Jerusalem Film Festival, and The Grand Jury Prize for Best Documentary at OUTFEST Los Angeles. The film was nominated for the 2002 Independent Spirit Awards for the IFC/Directv Truer Than Fiction Award and the 2003 GLAAD Media Awards for Outstanding Documentary, which it went on to win. The L.A. Weekly named it one of the 10 Best Films of 2001. It is being co-produced and broadcast by Keshet/Channel Two in Israel, the first co-production with U.S. producers and will be broadcast in Israel in late 2002. It was broadcast by Arte in France/Germany in Summer 2002 and will air on UK's BBC, Denmark's Channel 2, Australia's ABC, Netherlands’ NIK, and other TV stations worldwide in 2003-2004.

DuBowski is a recipient of the Rockefeller Foundation's 1999 Film/Video/Multimedia Fellowship. In addition, his work has received support from Skywalker Sound - a division of Lucas Digital, Ltd. as well as over twenty-five foundations including The Creative Capital Foundation, The Steven Spielberg Righteous Persons Foundation, The Nathan Cummings Foundation, The Jerome Foundation, and The National Foundation for Jewish Culture's Fund for Jewish Documentary Filmmaking. Feature stories on the project have appeared in The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, The Washington Post, NPR's Fresh Air with Terry Gross, The San Francisco Chronicle, The Boston Globe, The Miami Herald, Filmmaker Magazine, The Jerusalem Post, The Village Voice, The Globe and Mail, CNN, and BBC News among other print and media outlets.

At the World Premiere of Trembling at the Sundance Film Festival, director DuBowski and Rabbi Steve Greenberg, the first openly gay Orthodox rabbi, hosted the first-ever Shabbat at Sundance and with partner Working Films, an unprecedented Mormon-Jewish gay dialogue. Since then, Rabbi Greenberg and DuBowski have traveled to forty cities doing 300 Q & A's, dialogues, events, discussions with organizations across faith, sexuality, age, racial, and Jewish denominational lines. Steven Spielberg's Righteous Persons Foundation awarded them seed funding to launch an Orthodox community education project in the U.S., Israel and the U.K. with the film (already seventeen Orthodox synagogues have invited the film to screen). DuBowski, Rabbi Greenberg and Working Films are inaugurating a tour in 2003 of Christian theological seminaries in the American South. DuBowski was named along with Mel Brooks, Bob Dylan, Pulitzer Prize winner Michael Chabon, New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, and Senator Joseph Lieberman, as one of The Forward 50, fifty Jews who have been at the center of the year's events, demonstrating leadership, offering new ideas and representing a distinct Jewish presence in American life. He was the recipient of this year's Linda Leibman Human Rights Fund award.

DuBowski is now the producer of a film called In the Name of Allah, about the complex intersection of Islam with homosexuality, currently being shot in US, UK, France, and Pakistan.

DuBowski signed with Keppler Associates, one of the country's largest agencies specializing in professional speaking engagements. He has been featured at Yale University, University of Chicago, MTV Networks' Diversity Series, Vassar College, University of Florida, Harvard University, The Schusterman Hillel International Leadership Assembly, University of Oregon, UNC, Wesleyan University, Bowdoin College, University of Maryland, Unity and Diversity: The American Association of University Professors Conference on Academic Freedom at Religiously Affiliated Colleges and Universities, and The Midwest Bisexual, Lesbian, Gay and Transgender And Ally College Conference. He served on The 10th Anniversary Hamptons Film Festival Documentary Jury and spoken on numerous panels at conferences and festivals from the International Documentary Association to Hot Docs Film Festival to the Independent Feature Project.

DuBowski's award-winning short, Tomboychik, received the Golden Gate Award for Best Short Documentary at The San Francisco International Film Festival, was broadcast on WNET, and has screened at The Whitney Museum of American Art, The Rotterdam Film Festival, and The Jewish Museum's "Too Jewish?" show among other museums and festivals worldwide.

Previously, DuBowski worked for nearly three years as a Research Associate at Planned Parenthood Federation of America merging strategic analysis and video of the anti-abortion movement and the Christian right. One of the videos he produced, Missionaries Form Militias, which documented national anti-abortion leader Rev. Matt Trewhella calling for the formation of armed militias, was screened for Attorney General Janet Reno and top federal law enforcement officials after Paul Hill's murder of abortion provider Dr. Bayard Britton. The piece was excerpted on CBS News, reported on by The New York Times, Newsweek, USA Today, and The Nation, and is being used by the Northwest Coalition Against Malicious Harassment to train human rights activists. The pieces were broadcast in "Hey There Good Neighbor," a five-part series curated by The Whitney Museum of American Art and The Getty Center for the History of Art and Humanities.

In 1992, DuBowski graduated Magna Cum Laude from Harvard University. He received two Ford Program for Undergraduate Research grants for his work on homosexuality in Hollywood and independent film.
