I need to send some money in the US and a bank transfer is not an option (too big commisions), so I need to send cash in a letter to someone to transfer the sum via paypal to the location I will give. If there is anyone near Bulgaria with a paypal account and a P.O box please PM me.

Wow. Thanks, COMRADES!

No wonder we are winning over the globe.

At least, someone tell me how to send money to the US without having to pay 18% commision to the fucking bank.

Send me a cashier's check or money order denominated in U.S. Dollars, and I'll deduct a 5% fee and forward the remainder via paypal to whomever.

Without getting in a hissy about it, have you thought about Western Union?
The cost is much less than 18%. I suspect there are WU offices in Bulgaria.
I know there are in Romania, Slovakia and the Czech Republic.

Edit: I later did a Google, and there are WU offices in Bulgaria.

If it weren't for me, where would I be?

Don't send cash. Use Western Union. To get money from PayPal your recipient will have to pay the fee. If it's okay, open the account yourself and send it.

With conditions like that, you wonder why no one replied ? How many people on this board do you think are 'near Bulgaria' ?

Well, nearer than the US, that means Europe - less for the envelope to travel, smaller the chance it gets stolen/lost.

I don't think Western Union even does money transfers anymore.

Money transfer is their biggest business . WU doesn't send telegrams anymore .

Ah, my mistake. The two local Western Unions around here closed down. I had thought it was because they would only do online transfers and the sort.

Big thanks to those who offered their help.

I am aware I was a bit abrupt here, but it worked. Thanks.
