U.S. Celebrates Independence Day
American has changed a lot; and recently, NOT for the better
As we celebrate America's 230th birthday, I want all of you to think back and remember. . . . WHITE America.
You remember "White America," don't you?
You didn't need to lock the doors on your house. You didn't need security bars on your windows.
You didn't need alarms on your car. Everyone knew where the car keys were -- in the car!
Stores didn't need metal gates on the front to protect them.
Banks didn't need bullet proof glass at Teller windows.
Children could go out to play for HOURS at a time and never worry about being beaten, robbed, raped or killed.
You could walk on any street, in any town, at any hour of the day or night in complete safety.
Schools educated with real facts, and students were required to learn.

I was born long after "White" america ceased to exist. But I have read extensively on it, and talked to many old folks about it. On this 4th of July, here's to a new White America. Even if the whole damn thing has to melt down and start all over again. Which, IMHO it does.

Such fine memories of a time gone by. I wich only that my kids could have the comforts of being able to play out side and spread their wings like we were able to do when we re kids.
