Colo., notified Mr. Vyasmaan that it was canceling its contract.

Matt Johnson, a representative of Addr.com, said that the company had
received complaints about offensive content on the site, which contains
historical accounts about Hinduism and the centuries-long conflict
between Hindus and Muslims in South Asia. This week, a commentary on
the site called on Hindus "to stand up and take arms" against Muslims
in India,urging them to "exterminate and banish" them. The site also
urged Hindus to "Fight if you must! Die if you must!"

Mr. Johnson said representatives from HinduUnity.org contended that the
Web site was informational and did not advocate violence. But after
three days of telephone calls between New York and Colorado, Mr.
Johnson said, the company decided to pull the plug, saying that
HinduUnity.org was a hate site.

When Mr. Vyasmaan got word of the decision, his first call was to Mr.
Guzofsky's office at the Hatikva Jewish Identity Center in Brooklyn.
Mr. Guzofsky had run into a similar problem in December, when he was
forced to find a new server because of complaints about the Kahane
site. Mr. Guzofsky was in Israel, but he returned the phone call within
hours and quickly set out to solve Mr. Vyasmaan's problem.

It's perfectly clear to me that these two are running this site from
the US. You would think that the fact that the servers are off-shore
wouldn't absolve them of legal repercussions. You'd think.

Of significance is that kahane.org has been designated a "terrorist" website by the United States. It is not clear at this time whether the filtering of kahane.org is intentional or an unintentional by-product of it sharing the same IP address as HinduUnity.org, as appears to be the case with http://www.gwsystems.co.il/. To our knowledge, no order has been issued by any authority in India to block kahane.org.

DVD Please, March 9, 2006
I currently own this VHS version. But I would buy the DVD in a heartbeat if it were available. And of course wide screen please. With commentary if possible. This movie and Gigi are both among my favorites.

This, coupled with some of his Usenet postings, makes me wonder about
this guy. Let's just say I wouldn't leave him alone around children.

Great Book, October 8, 2004
I used to have a copy of this book. It is a great book for getting started in HO model railroading. It probably is a bit dated in the items the authors uses and recommends but the techniques used should still apply. It starts simple and then build upon the initial layout in phases allowing you to enjoy your work between phases. Actually I'm in here to buy another copy for my self. I highly recommend this book.

Just because a DNS says .co.il I don't think that means the server is in Israel. For example, anybody can get a .tk domain name but it doesn't mean they or their server are physically located in Tokelau.

What matters is the actual IP. Both kahane.org and gwsystems.co.il both share the IP 67.153.104.163.

Although this is decidedly unscientific I am going to mention it anyways. If you go to http://gwsystems.co.il/ you will see this in the top right corner of the page:

Based on all this and similar information I concluded that the server for kahane.org is located in Annandale, Virginia. I am not an expert on such things so I may be wrong, but as of now I am still convinced that I was at least close to the correct physical location of the server. I would wager I at least got the country and state right.

I concur. The server hosting 67.153.104.163 appears to be in or around DC.

FYI: from a DOS prompt (press the Win key + R then type CMD), type "tracert domain.ext", sans quotes, where "domain.ext" would be "kahane.org".

After looking at this with fresh eyes, I agree. I made a bad
assumption when seeing that country code. The registrant
obviously wants people to think it's in izzy. Worked in my
case.

Secondly, they are not shutting down kahene.org despite the very clear court order affirming they are terror-listed. That is what is astounding! One standard for jews; another standard for everybody else.
