The book begins with the sentence: "Frères humains, laissez-moi vous raconter comment ça s'est passé ..." (My fellow humans, let me tell you how it happened...")

...the fictional narrator of his novel, Max Aue, an intellectual turned SS officer and mass murderer who has taken refuge in France under a false identity after the war.
Les Bienveillantes gives Aue's reminiscences, and justification, and philosophical observations, on [color="red"]his work with mobile SS death squads in eastern Europe. It also contains scenes in Auschwitz and in Adolf Hitler's bunker.
Littell said that the idea for the book came to him after working with non-governmental organisations in Chechnya and Bosnia. Mass murderers, he says, are almost always silent. He wanted to force one to speak, in the first person.
"That was the only way to understand these people. The question I put to myself before I wrote my novel was, 'what would have become of me if I had been born in Germany in 1913, rather than in America in 1967?' The reply is my novel ... I am very conscious of the fact that we don't always choose our lives."
Leading French critics are convinced that the book will become an international classic. [color="red"]
Samuel Blumenfeld
in Le Monde wrote: "One does not want to bury Jonathan Littell in superlatives. [But] like Flaubert he possesses an enormous talent for putting history into a novel form or rather placing a novel in history." Le Figaro Magazine said that the book was a "monument of contemporary literature".

Jonathan Littell, 39, made history this week when his 900-page book became the first by a native English-speaker to win the Grand Prix of the Académie Française, the guardian of the French language.

If Jerry Lewis ended up as one of the characters in the book, then sales in France would be even better! Maybe in the updated paperback version of the book, Jerry Lewis will be in it.

publisher (fiction) of McClelland & Stewart, said she first heard of Les Bienveillantes this month in Frankfurt, where it was the talk of the fair, and the subject of intense international bidding."I found out who the agent was, and I located him, and I sort of waited for him to finish his meeting, and attacked, [color="red"]asking if I could please see the book right away," she said.
...[color="Red"]She said she does not think the fact of Mr. Littell's Jewishness gives him a special right to imagine the thoughts of a Nazi, although it might have been different if he were German.
"If this book were this book, but it was written by a German, I think it would be controversial in certain ways, but I think I would stand by it," she said.
[color="red"]Ms. Seligman said she is already pondering how to clear the "hurdles" of marketing a book on such a delicate subject to Canadians.

You have to wonder about this continued fascination of Nazis by jewz.
Pretty soon the Nazi (to the next generation) will become no more than a ficticious entity spawned of decrepit jewy like minds. The end result will be, nobody will or can take it seriously. Kind of like the robots from the terminator movies.
Of course all the jewy authors will be on side praising it as the best thing with lauds like "An Instant Classic!".

Certainly,that's very apparent.Tell a lie long enough and it eventually becomes truth,fact and gospel.Christianity is the very foundation of this.If a hand full of Jews in the desert over two thousand years ago; can eventually invent,market and sell salvation and wrong into right;then selling the evils of the Third Reich from only sixty one years ago, is still only in it's infancy today.
Currently almost all documented facts about this time are still in the hands of the enemies,mainly Russian Jews and left wing bureaucrats.
It's been very obvious for over a generation now that the object of this exercise is to continue to demonetize this era and the people who embodied the spirit of the Reich in every possible manner;so as to create a very strong permanent concrete opinion in the minds and hearts of new generations, of the supreme evils of any thinking of racial supremacy and the horrors that created it.
Still,it is very strange ,to me anyway,that from the relatively very short period of only twelve years, a idea of simple nationalism,health and unity;actually created such fear and terror that it would have lasted for more than an additional sixty years and still today calls the spirit of many individuals who hear the message again and again; even without the justification of the times that existed from the 1920's and 1930's.Which all STILL goes to prove the timelessness of Hitlers thinking process and the courageousness of the people of his time.
So,essentially,as the Jew continues to tell his lie,new generations will now be forced(by Jewish actions) to research and again find the standards by which our forefathers founded the Reich;completing the circle of righteousness for White Advancement.
Anything worthwhile is worth working for.The Jews fears will make our work,easier and more worthwhile in times to come.

Especially nauseating is the way they compare the kike's work to Flaubert!
I predict NPR's Jewish staff will be interviewing him and promoting his book around the clock shortly.
Another Jew given a lucrative book deal is Aimee Bender, a young yenta who writes about the pain of not finding a boyfriend. According to her bio she's the daughter of some millionaire and doesn't have to work but decided to take a shot at writing novels. Imagine that, some untalented jew wants to write a book and the publishing world leaps to offer you a contract!
Here in Chicago I just read about a huge installation of sculptures in Millennium Park (funded by the Jew Pritzker family). Needless to say they selected another Jew as architect (Frank Gehry) so now they had to find a Jew sculptor to further uglify the place while promoting one of their own. She is Magdalena Abakanowicz. The Chicago Sun-Times couldn't resist mentioning how the sculptures were influenced by her childhood, which was spent fleeing the Nazis!
