Today I went to Church for the first time and at the end of the sermon they passed around the $$$ plate(basket).

I then realized that I had no cash with me but I did have my check book.

So I went ahead and made out a sizable check to Jesus Christ.

Afterward the priest came up to me and said I am sorry to say sister that we cannot cash this generous check of yours.

I was a bit confused and said I thought I heard you say in your sermon that you could do anything through Jesus Christ.
