New Russian law makes us want to open the borders

Russia's future decisions where "homosexual propaganda" prohibition raises the question of open borders. We should stand up for the equal worth and the right to live their lives where they want. It writes centrist States Tobias Alfredsson and Johan Kling.

Censorship is spreading in Russia and on 22 January the Russian Duma to take its first decision to ban "gay propaganda."

Despite protests from several human rights organizations, LGBT movement and a wide range of individuals have adopted a timetable for when a ban on "homosexual propaganda" to be adopted, to apply throughout Russia.

Today the ban in several regions, including St. Petersburg, and in the Russian Parliament Duma, a first vote on Clause 6.13.1 to take place on 22 January 2013. The section prohibits talking positively about homosexuality, bisexuality and transsexuality.

The Russian bill makes us once again reminded that human rights and democracy can not be taken for granted, even in our own neighborhood. As the Centre Party, we insist that all people have the same basic rights and obligations. Regardless of gender, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, religion or ethnicity are all equal.

Centre Party ideprogramsgrupp has concluded that the Centre Party should be for a world without boundaries. The background arises clearly in this current topic, we want to protect the equal rights and value? Open borders means that the people who are not allowed to live their lives openly get the chance to do so. We must strive for a world where freedom and mobility also extends beyond its safe limit. A world where all democratic countries have an obligation not to close the borders to those who need and want to create a better life. The way there is of course a long and strong dark forces counteract this.

It is important to stand up for what we see as an obvious score: That all people are equal and have the right to freedom to live their lives as they want and where they want.

Free immigration does not automatically mean a free welfare - just because people are in Sweden, it is not obvious that they should take part of all the benefits that citizens enjoy. Requirements can be set to self-support and a certain number of months of paid tax before being given access to the welfare system. [color="blue"]Note the vague formulation. Health care, school, basically everything of value will be granted of course, not to mention the fucking parasitical judiciary class and immigration industry that drains the system in relation to this, sucking enormous sums from the White Swede to even set the invader up in a position where they can begin their own long term sucking. This is how far the perspective has changed. Just because they are not (necessarily) illiterate, violent, infinitely hopeless Somalis that costs a fortune from day one, this should somehow be an argument for letting the whole world invade freely. Russian HIV sodomites included!.

Critics of open borders and free immigration will often let synonymous with total immigration - the great barrier to migration are not laws and regulations. Often it is possible to circumvent these [color="blue"]It is, but if you uphold the demand on having identification as a citizen, and simply send back all that weezle themselves in, you set an example that will deterr others from coming. Also called upholding a nation state. ...or you could just stop defending the borders and live in a lawless vacuum like Greece... but apparantly that is not working out so well for them. what prevents migration is that people do not want to move. Most people like to stay where they live, their family, networks and life there. To allow free immigration will probably not lead to an invasion of immigrants to Sweden. [color="blue"]This lunacy would be hilarious if it wasn't for the fact that many people actually believed it to be true. The Social Democrats had concerns regarding the transition rules of social tourism when the EU expanded to the east, we have not seen any. Then the Centre Party up for the equal rights and value. It's time again!

We hope that the Centre Party dares to stand up for the equal rights and value of our meeting in March when idéprogrammet be discussed, and that we both by the Swedish Government and by the European Parliament to put pressure on Russia.

In addition, we continue to support our Russian sister party Yabloko, the only party in the Russian churches, where they have been represented, stood up for the right of people to be themselves.

JOHN KLING (C)
