Is it possible that Hillary Clinton’s May 23rd faux pas about the assassination of Robert Kennedy was no faux pas at all, but rather the first real clue as to why she has doggedly remained in the presidential race against all odds of success? Could it be that Hillary’s hint of pending doom had absolutely nothing to do with Barack Obama? Do she, Slick Willie, and the inside commodity traders, who bid up the price of crude oil to $135 per barrel and the price of gold to over $900 per ounce, all know something that the rest of us don’t know? In a final act of desperation to save face after eight years of failure, will Team Bush invade Iran just prior to the opening of the Democratic National Convention in Denver on August 25th?
Such an action would not only create worldwide chaos, but it would render the Democratic Convention completely impotent. All of the anti-Bush speeches would have to be scrapped and completely rewritten. Americans always rally behind the President at the beginning of a war – particularly a war against a country which has been demonized for three decades. All political bets would be off at the convention. Hillary Clinton could step forward into the Democratic political vacuum created by the invasion claiming that only she could stop the Bush-McCain machine.
Bush and Cheney have presided over an empire which has experienced military defeat in two wars, a complete loss of moral authority, a precipitous decline in its international reputation, a collapse in the value of its currency, and a major recession. Given their level of arrogance, do they really have any other choice than to invade Iran to prove to the world that they are in charge? Never mind that this may very well precipitate a military, political, and economic disaster of unprecedented proportions.

The Western democracy of today is the forerunner of Marxism which without it would not be thinkable. It provides this world plague with the culture in which its germs can spread.
