You don't understand the relevance cuz you are not a shooter. When you've got over 1 million rounds of shooting under your belt then you can talk.

A shooter is someone who has dedicated a large part of their time to shooting and the study thereof.

Putting rounds in a 3" target via raising the pistol to ones eyesite is not impressive and not going to do you much good in an ACTUAL gunfight.

Ed McGivern, Skeeter Skelton and Bob Munden probably haven't been in a gunfight either but I'd put my money on them before a 5 jump chump Fed agent any day... that was my whole point.

And for the record I have been in a gunfight but even if I weren't I can cite many stats about shoot outs that had nothing to do with firing at 25 yards or even using the sights.
