DSU band director accused of rape
Student given alcohol, assaulted, police say

Delaware State University's new band director has been placed on paid administrative leave following his arrest after allegedly sexually assaulting a male student off campus.
Miguel A. Bonds, 31, of the 300 block of Linkside Drive in Magnolia, was charged Sunday night by state police with second-degree rape, two counts of third-degree unlawful sexual contact and providing alcohol to a minor.
He is being held in the Delaware Correctional Center near Smyrna in lieu of $12,100 bail. He faces a preliminary hearing Friday.
According to court records, Bonds invited a 20-year-old student to his apartment after Saturday night's football game and the two watched the movie "History of Violence."
Then Bonds offered the student a drink containing vodka.
He quickly became woozy and Bonds put on a pornographic movie and performed oral sex on him, police said.
The student reported the incident to police Sunday after waking up on the floor of Bonds' apartment naked and nauseous.
He told police that Bonds called his cell phone after he left to ask him if he remembered anything, state police spokesman Cpl. Jeff Oldham said.
The student "told him no and hung up," police said in court records.
DSU spokesman Carlos Holmes said the university is "saddened and extremely distressed about the allegations."
"But our first concern is our students," he said.
University officials also are investigating the incident, Holmes said.
Bonds, who was assistant band director at Stillman College in Tuscaloosa, Ala., before being hired by DSU in the spring, replaced former band director H. Wade Johnson, who resigned in 2005.

Something similar happen at Western Michigan University about eight years ago. I went there to visit family and was told this story multiple times always with suitable accents for the different participants. My Dad saved the paper so I know most of it to be true. The Kalamazoo Gazette wouldn’t lie now would it.
Some dink could not get into the education graduate program due to his low grades as he was a low grade dink, viet or flip. Dean of education was some affirmative action nigger on the downlow. The dink begged and pleaded to be admitted and it was eventually agreed that the Dean would come by latter and “work something out”. The nigger Dean shows up at the Dinks tax-payer-subsidized student housing wearing colon and bearing a bottle of whiskey (camera’s of liqueur store caught him on tape and was used on TV news) for a little fuckee and suckee with the petit oriental gentleman (POG).
As told with a low Uncle Remus (he was a Dean Ream Us to the Dink) voice. He opened the door and saw Dink and ......Miss Dink?!? and said
“Uh I, Uh what, Uh I mean Uh, what is she doing here?”
To which Mr Dink replied “Oh she no mind, it O-Kay.” In a dinking accent.
“Uh, are you sure”
“Oh jeah she watch all time.”
Now are affirmative action nigger now has a choice leave or stay. He stays and does whatever affirmative action niggers on the down low do with petit orientals to stupid to get into the worlds easiest graduate program.
The next day the Dink shows up at the Nigger Deans office and demands entrance into the graduate program in elementary education. Nigger Dean asked what is he talking about, and Dink shouts out to him.
“Ah HAH. WIFE WITNESS, WIFE WITNESS”
Nigger dean is fired, University has something somewhat like egg all over its face, and white men all over southwest Michigan have cheap entertainment for a few days.
