When I try to connect it asks for a username and password.

Yes it is being recorded. i will be putting it up on the live feed for rebroadcast and for download.

It is working now but I can only stream about 2 seconds at a time. Hear 2 seconds and buffer for 7 seconds.
How about downloading sections and naming them after who is doing the talking? Or putting it up for download or stream on a lower kilobyte rate for us 56k’ers.

If i called in I picture sean with varg.mp3 on his desktop with it on repeat.

That's where some of my technical problems originated at first this evening. I tried to establish a dual feed of 48kbs and 36kbs on the outgoing signal and the program errored causing me to restart to return to the proven 48k upload encoder.
More work and understanding needs to be done before I try that again.

Isn't 48k overkill , for voice ? Or is there something that I am missing ?

I can’t stream the feed, so why would I call. Just say “hi I am Sean, wanna talk”?
