Fighting WW II really has no place here. The Sorbs and Wends are also Slavs. They settled in Germany hundreds of years ago and have never been persecuted by the Nazis.
The proclamation that Slavs were sub-Humans primarily had to do with public motivation in approving a 2 front war though propaganda.
