This, in part, is why I called for an Open Thread to be locked in at the top of this page…
I think the time is upon us to consider a new WP theme for this page, which is fast – the Rapid Access theme does that.
I also think – and, as I think I said in another post (was it the Open Thread?), we should have a hot backup ready at blogger – and be prepared to host our own WordPress set-up on our own site.
Thanks for the heads-up re Covington, and “The Brigade.”
I’ll read it this week, but, if it’s anything like Covington’s other works, well, as usual, The Master is removing all of our excuses.

I have to admit I’m rather surprised you plugged THE BRIGADE, but nonetheless, the gesture is appreciated. I hope you enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it. (God, I had a ball with that shooting up the Oscar awards scene!)

Even without hackers it should be mandatory that Alex pull the forum down for 1 week at least twice a year. Such a break would change VNNer’s routines. It might also serve to elevate members overall perspective of how a discussion forum fits in to a balanced life.

The use of deductive logic in respect to why the vnnforum mysteriously shut down might result in the conclusion that the former Commander of the ANSWP didn’t like the fact that his peers at VNNforum overthrew Overthrow’s webmaster and installed myself in his place. In retaliation, like a small angry child, Bill struck out in a blind rage and hacked the only board that allows him to post on it in a classic case of “biting the hand that feeds you.”

Uncovering the Judas Goats with Michael Collins Piper

Having just finished reading Michael Collins Piper’s latest book The Judas Goats, I am once again amazed by his insightful analysis of what is truly one of the greatest problems facing the world today and that is the misunderstanding of nationalism and what that means for the future of mankind. My own view on the matter is admittedly simple, I see, in the words of Zeppelin front man Robert Plant, “two paths we can go by,†and that is either Internationalism or Nationalism. We already have Internationalism as manifested by the frenetic pursuit in establishing the global economy and with it the inevitable emergence of a one world government, a “New World Order,†by any other name. The Zionist media would have us believe that it’s inevitable, that it can’t be stopped, but the fact is, this idea is founded on nothing more than the mantras associated with it. Nationalism has received nothing but bad press in the Zionist dominated media ever since WWII, and when bad press alone wasn’t able to stop the materialization of Nationalist thought somewhere in the world, the Zionists pressured their proxy agent, the United States of America to intercede in some manner, usually militarily. This is exactly what happened in Serbia, after the collapse of Yugoslavia, the Serbs sought to establish, rightfully, their suzerainty over an area that had traditionally been heavily Slavic in orientation, but was also mixed with Turks and their descendants.

Part of the problem is that we are piggybacking our broadcasting feed from the same server that hosts the forum. Every time the feed is fired up for FTL programs the forum starts getting clunky. Either the ISP’s resources or the server machine’s physical resources cannot take the strain.
I have been wanting to put VNN broadcasting on it’s own dedicated server for some time now. But I can’t afford it, and we are talking about $100 a month. To rent a server is $100. Simple as that. Finding one that won’t kick us to the curb upon the first weeze of a jew is another matter. But we are talking about a simple broadcast relay. Not a forum or domain named WN website that attracts massive attention directly.
I don’t like to ask for bread unless I have no choice. I would do it myself and be done with it if I could afford to do it. But I can’t.
Form a committee, appoint an accountant, provide a collection point and pass the appropriate $ to the ISP I pick for the job. Do whatever. It will free up the forum to be “THE FORUM” and radio will go on regardless of the forum status.
I’ll even go back to providing 24/7 content, live or pre-recorded since it won’t disrupt forum service.

As I predicted, once again, VNN Forum has been neutralized, and, again, this will be the case for some time to come. Indeed, it seems our former host is down, and out.
AGAIN, I draw you attention to my two ideas:
One, wish the Forum a fond farewell, and redo this blog with the Rapid Access WP theme, and the new WP Supercache plug-in.
Use the basic topic areas as tags, and get rid of the wall of tags on the right, which might slow down processing; just a handful of basic tags on display until things become stable. This means you can still tag everything will all of the tags you want, they will simply not be visible on the right side of the page.
Two, run this on our own server, as a backup. WP allows this.
Three, use Bill White’s new site for the VNN broadcast “simply relay.”
Let’s try to keep the money on our side of the fence, for a change.

I am all for new ideas, but wishing the forum a fond farewell is not one of them. It’z true that no isp wants to touch the forum, but if like Stan suggests, we can come up with a hundred bucks a month between all of us and get a dedicated server, then I think we should.
The forum is a vital place to keep track of unjewed news, network with other WNs, and even vent once in a while. It should remain.
