Half-measures never get the job done. But hesitancy, moral uncertainty, and sometimes cowardice have us hog-tied. Arabs seem superior to us in some respects: they know how to resist tyranny better than we do. They don't get hypocritical as often as we do. They don't sell each other out as much as we do. If rocks are the only weapons they have, then they throw rocks, and the hell with the fact that they get bullets and bombs in return. Do you see us doing that? No. Each of us wants to be the Grand Schemer, the guy who sets out the battle plan for the soldiers to follow, and nevermind any lack of proven ability.
