6 bodies found at restaurant in Germany

BERLIN - Six bodies were found early Monday at a Chinese restaurant in northern Germany, police said.

The victims — three men and three women — had been shot and some of them were tied up, police said in a statement. A seventh person suffered life-threatening gunshot wounds and was taken to a hospital.

Police said one of the victim's husbands found the bodies when he went to pick up his wife from the Lin Yue restaurant in the town of Sittensen, south of Hamburg, at 12:30 a.m.

The bodies were spread across several rooms in the building, police said.
