A 3rd President Bush?

ORLANDO, Fla. - Could there be a third President Bush? The current chief said Wednesday that younger brother Jeb would make a great one, too, and has asked him about making a run. The first President Bush likes the idea as well.

Jeb Bush, the Republican governor of Florida, has one asset that his presidential brother doesn't right now - approval from most of his constituents. While George W. Bush's approval ratings are in the low 30s, some 55 percent of Florida voters surveyed last month by Quinnipiac University said Jeb was doing a good job.

The governor has repeatedly said he won't be a candidate for president in 2008, but that doesn't stop his family from encouraging him to go for it some day.

"I would like to see Jeb run at some point in time, but I have no idea if that's his intention or not," the president said in an interview with Florida reporters, according to an account on the St. Petersburg Times Web site.

Well, let's see. A third Bush will oversee wars in Iran and Syria not to mention the FUBAR quagmire in Iraq and the sideshow in Afghanistan. Gas should be about six dollars a gallon by then. We will be debating giving 30-40 million illegals amnesty instead of 12 million. But the good news is that the economy may be so bad by then that illegals might start sneaking BACK across the border. All this and a 9% approval rating. Hmm. I wonder who the Dems will run against him? Can this get worse? Not only can it get much worse, it WILL.

No, no, no. It's Bush-Clinton-Bush-Clinton-Bush. So we've got to endure four or eight years of president Hillary before we get another president Bush! :p

You know, as strange as theUShas become over the last few years, it wouldn’t severely surprise me if little Jeb became el Presidentè Boosh the Third. It should have already been statistically impossible for the second one to become president, I mean what the hell, in a so called democracy, out of a population of 280 million, the son of a former president becomes president himself, despite so many other potential candidates.
