A Bowie Song, and the Normalization of Communism

Speaking of communism, it has always amazed me how communism was more-or-less "normalized" by the media, the movies and the schools. Communism became "legitimate" in the Western world. Want an example? In Italy, the communists held 41 seats in parliament in 2006! Consider: here's an ideology that has killed 100 million people since 1917, and they are holding seats in a Western parliament! (I thought communists hated democracy?)...
