This is from a very old post. I was reading through some old posts looking for something and I found this. The described moment in time happened in 1973 or 1974...I was 27 or 28, just out of the Navy and working at an engineering company. The sad thing is, this would be impossible today, in the US or in Britain...or maybe anywhere.

One of my most racially excellent moments, almost spiritual, happened one night at the Abby Inn, a bar in Houston. The place was long, with picnic tables; it always reminded me of a Viking long house. It was always completely white, never a nigger or mexican, or asian. The ages of kids that frequented the bar ranged from 18 to 25 (You could drink at 18, back then, I was out of the Navy, and a little older) . The fad back then was long hair, both for men and women, though pony tails for men were rare.

One evening, I was standing at the far end of the long bar. Looking down the room, all I could see was young, healthy, Aryan men and women, with long flowing blond, light brown, and red hair. It was an amazing moment --- probably never see the like again. It really did feel as if I had been transported back in time a thousand years. The three quarts of beer in me didn't hurt the moment either.

Odd, but that moment has stayed with me. Watching an episode of Vikings, brought it back. The kids in that bar could easily, with costumes, be the Vikings, men and women, in the TV series.

That moment in The Abby Inn was really stunning. I saw what the young of our race is supposed to look like.
