We travel to Spain quite regularly, and we have noticed that Spanish women and womens clothes shops are still very feminine. In the UK young girls either dress like blokes/tramps/tarts. Usually they dress like a bag of shite.
In Spain, and I presume Italy too, the women dress in a very feminine manner
