Jefford Saint Juste, 18, of West Palm Beach, and Dwayne Peavy, also 18, of Riviera Beach, are accused of [color="Red"]driving a stolen luxury car crashed into an apartment building early this morning as they were being chased by police, the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office said.

James Jesus Montgomery,18, and Dexter Lorenzo Payne, 22, both of Hampton, were arrested in connection with the July 14, 2008 r[color="Red"]obbery of a man whose pants were taken.
Hampton police spokeswoman Allison Good said Montgomery became arguing with a 24-year-old man who accused Montgomery of selling fake drugs to his friend.
Good said the victim was hit in the face and fell to the ground. Police say Montgomery and Payne stole the man's jeans which had a wallet in them and two rings.
Good said the jeans were recovered but police didn't find any other stolen goods.

Michael Resean Cary, 20, of Hampton was arrested and charged for s[color="Red"]hooting a man multiple times in the area of Langley Avenue and Rowe Street.
According to an affidavit for a search warrant at Hampton Circuit Court, the victim became involved a conversation with a man wearing a black hoodie. It ended up with him being shot multiple times.
Cary has been charged with aggravated malicious wounding and use of a firearm in commission of a felony.

Terrell Poole, 22, of Suburban Circle in Portsmouth, was arrested and charged with one count of felony child abuse and neglect.
According to police, a woman called them after she heard children [color="Red"]crying in a neighboring apartment and water running for several hours. Upon entering the apartment, officers found 2-year-old male twins in the bathtub and the mother asleep on the couch.

Bryce Bowen, 25, who has permanent address, was arrested by Hampton Police.
Around 2:46 p.m. that day, police were called to a home on Marcella Road.
The resident said she had heard a noise at her front door and [color="Red"]saw a man trying to pry open the door, when she looked out of the window.
Police believe that Bowen was responsible for several other burglaries. He was arrested and charged with seven counts of breaking and entering with intent to commit a felony, seven counts of grand larceny, one count of attempted breaking and entering with intent to commit a felony and one count of possession of burglary tools.
He was also charged with an outstanding capias from Newport News and breaking and entering with intent to commit a felony and grand larceny in York County.
Torolan Williams, 22, of the 11600 block of South Artesian Avenue has been charged with [color="Red"]five counts of first-degree murder in the April [color="Red"]shootings of five people inside a ransacked home on the South Side, officials said. He has also been charged with five counts of armed robbery and one count of home invasion in connection with the April 23 slayings in the 7600 block of South Rhodes Avenue, according to the Cook County state's attorney's office.

Orlando D. Britt, 24, of Marshall Avenue in Norfolk, was arrested after an incident inside a Virginia Beach parking garage where [color="Red"]shots were fired.
According to police, the incident began at 8:43 a.m. when they received a report of a fugitive -- who had outstanding warrants in Portsmouth and Norfolk -- who was in a car on the third floor of the parking garage at Town Center in Virginia Beach. When officers arrived and attempted to arrest him, he refused to get out of the car and then engaged in a physical struggle with an officer.
At some point the officer's gun "became a part of the altercation," and rounds were fired. No one was hurt.
Britt has been charged with attempted disarming of a law enforcement officer and assault on a law enforcement officer, both felonies.

Lucinda Renee Luster, 28, of Virginia Beach, was arrested in Chesapeake and charged with [color="Red"]first degree murder.
According to police, Luster chased down Chovell Taylor, 32, of Chesapeake at an apartment complex and [color="Red"]stabbed her multiple times.
Lovell was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, where she died of her injuries.

Dwayne Demetrius Young, 22, of Newport News, was arrested in connection with a [color="Red"]shootout at the Wendy’s restaurant at the intersection of Aberdeen Road and 50th Street in Hampton.
He has been charged with maiming, the use of a firearm in commission of a felony, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
The incident began around 5 p.m. when the occupants of two cars fired multiple shots at each other in the parking lot of the restaurant.
Young was hit once in the torso during the shootout, and that he was taken into custody after he was treated and released from a local hospital.
Another man was struck several times in the torso and was critically injured but expected to survive.

[color="Red"]Burleigh Savage, 59, of Edenbrook Drive in Hampton, was arrested and charged with assault and battery and abduction, following an incident at a hotel on Coliseum Drive in Hampton.
Police say Savage and the victim, a 59-year-old woman, were in the hotel room together. When she tried to leave, "He refused to let her leave. He pushed her into the bedroom area, closed the door so as she couldn't get out and locked the exit," said Alison Good, Hampton Police spokeswoman.
She said Savage threw the woman on the bed and [color="Red"]started choking her.
"There was a tussle going back and forth in the bedroom ... she was yelling for help and finally got the attention of someone at the hotel," Good said.

Benedicto Godoy of Riverhead is under arrest on charges of conspiring with a Michigan relative to [color="Red"]hire a hit man to kill five members of a Guatemalan family on Long Island. District Attorney Thomas Spota said Tuesday that district attorney squad detectives arrested Benedicto and Elmer Godoy at an Eastport gas station and charged the pair with conspiracy to commit murder. Also arrested Sunday in Commerce Township, Michigan was Elvis Godoy, the defendant who allegedly concocted the murder scheme with his uncle Benedicto and cousin Elmer to [color="Red"]avenge the recent shooting of his father in Guatemala.

Andrew Mattison Jr., 25, of Virginia Beach, and Christopher Joyner Jr., a 23, of Chesapeake, were arrested and charged in connection with a [color="Red"]home invasion robbery and shooting that occurred on May 7, 2008. The attack left the shooting victim in critical condition at a local hospital.
Police say that around 11:23 p.m. on May 7, Mattison, Joyner and two other suspects broke into a home on Blacksmith Court in Virginia Beach and shot a man in the course of a robbery.
Both Mattison and Joyner are charged with malicious assault, robbery and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

Paul Norfleet Jr., 19, and Brian Keith Clark, 22, both of Newport News, were arrested in connection with at [color="Red"]carjacking in Newport News.
According to police, the pair, along with a third man, approached a 19-year-old who had just stepped out of a Chevy Lumina on Deputy Lane. They took his car keys and other possessions and forced him into the car's trunk, and then drove off.
The victim managed to get out of the car at the intersection of Bland and Warwick boulevards and called police from a convenience store. Three off-duty officers spotted the vehicle as it pulled into a nearby apartment complex, and they followed the car to a dead end. All three suspects fled on foot, but the officers captured Clark and Norfleet.
Clark is charged with robbery, carjacking, abduction, use of a firearm by a convicted felon, and three counts of use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. Norfleet is charged with robbery, carjacking, abduction, and (3) counts of use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

Linda Harley, 57, of Bellport, faces up to 15 years in prison when she is sentenced in Suffolk County court June 19. Harley admitted during testimony that she reached 120 mph in her Toyota RAV 4 during a noon-hour chase. The incident began when two motorists called 911 to report a possible drunk driver on the expressway traveling eastbound. The chase ended at Exit 66 when the defendant's tires were deflated by spikes police placed across the eastbound lanes. Upon exiting her vehicle, Harley [color="Red"]struck three Suffolk County highway patrol officers with "The Club", an anti-theft device, before she was subdued and arrested. After a three-week trial and 90 minutes of deliberations, the jury convicted Harley of the top charge of attempted aggravated assault, a class "C" violent felony, three counts of second degree assault, first degree reckless endangerment, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the second degree, reckless driving, speeding, failure to stay in a designated lane, crossing over road markings, driving on the shoulder, passing traffic on the right, failure to obey a police officer, operating a vehicle without financial security, obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest. The jury found Harley not guilty of operating a motor vehicle without a safety belt. [color="Red"]The defendant worked as a NYC corrections officer from 1982 to 1991.

Arenzo King, 20, of Hampton, was arrested for his role in a [color="Red"]mob attack on a 58-year-old man riding a bicycle.
According to the police report, the victim was riding his bicycle on Settlers Landing Road near Stewart Street around 8 p.m. March 10 when he was attacked by a 11-15 males who pulled him off of his bicycle, threw him to the ground and began hitting and kicking him. The victim suffered a broken jaw, multiple lacerations and contusions.
King has been charged with maiming. Three Hampton juveniles have also been arrested and charged. Police are trying to identify the other suspects.

Elaine Clarke, 38, of Hampton, was arrested and charged in [color="Red"]killing of 36-year-old Tyrone Adkinson.
At 2:45 a.m. May 1, 2008, police responded the 1st block of Dogwood Street after receiving reports of a "man down."
When police arrived, they found Adkinson lying on the porch and unresponsive, suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. He died in a hospital the next day.
Clarke was also charged with using a firearm while in commission of a felony.

Jaren Lee Hawkins, 23, of York County, was arrested and charged with [color="Red"]two child pornography-related felonies.
According to York County Sherriff’s Office, they received a tip about Hawkins that originated with the Southern Virginia Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
Hawkins was charged with possessing and manufacturing child pornography.

Jamal Lee Mingga, 18, of Portsmouth, was arrested and charged in with [color="Red"]first degree murder in the killing of 50-year-old [color="Red"]Robert Edward Kiesewetter.
Police say Mingga and a 17-year-old accomplice shot Kiesewetter to death while he delivering a pizza in the Churchland section of Portsmouth.

William Albert Griffin Jr., 31, of James City County, was arrested in connection with several sexual offenses against children over the past few years.
Police say Albert allegedly touched an 11-year-old inappropriately between September 2005 and February 2007, and [color="Red"]forced an 11-year-old, 12-year-old and 13-year old to watch pornographic films while he masturbated in front of them. All of the incidents happened at a residence in the Grove area of the county. He has been charged with one count of aggravated sexual battery and three counts of taking indecent liberties with a child.
