Why aren't we sending out massive numbers of WN emails to selected White groups ??
For example: Emails to 200 or so small town police departments, and county sheriff departments, which contain the article entitled, "The Color of Crime".
And emails to 200 or so pastors of small independent protestant churches, which contain the article, "Who Rules America."
And emails to student newspaper editors of colleges and universities, which contain the html version of our own newspaper, the Aryan Alternative. Etc, etc, etc.
Seems to me that VNN has dozens of computer savy folks who could find email addresses for said groups and others, and accomplish this. These VNN'ers could devote perhaps two or 3 hours per week to completing the task of sending 100 or 200 emails such as those I suggested.
Each email would advertise VNN's website addresses, and my address and phone number for those who decide to make contact with us.
I'd like to hear suggestions/comments on this.

I'm not 100% certain on this, but I think that sending out mass emails like that would be viewed as spam. Or perhaps that only applys to emails soliciting something.
I think one of the main things to be concerned about when sending out mass emails is to make sure that if nothing else, spamguards and such won't catch the email and throw it in the junk folder.
One thing I'm not clear on is this: Did you mean to send emails to lots of groups, but only one time for each recipient? Or did you intend to send more than one to each? I think if the plan was to send multiple emails to the same recipient there has to be a way that they can unsubscribe from receiving future emails.

Good points, Pixi. I'm not internet-savy, therefore others will have to advise us about pertinent rules.
Yeah, I propose that for example one single VNN'er with initiative select a target group, such as police and sheriff's departments. There are tens-of-thousands nationwide. Then send say 100-200 of them an email containing the article "Color of Crime". Then 2 weeks or a month later, send the same emails to another 100-200.
Several VNN'ers can join with that VNN'er, and do the same (making sure the recipients are not duplicated).
The same organized emailings can focus on another selected group, such as editors of student newspapers at colleges and universities (even high schools).
It would be an organized project with those who participate comparing notes, and communicating among each other, on this forum.

Oh, one other thing while I'm thinking about it. Anyone can answer this since I don't think Rounder will know the answer.
Would it be possible to set it up so that the emails sent out all trace back to VNN, as opposed to the sender's ISP? Perhaps there could be a mailing program set up on VNN's server or something, and members could log on and send the emails that way. Even if sending out these mass emails isn't violating spam laws, I don't know that it wouldn't be violating the individual sender's ISP's TOS. I would be concerned that if a lot of people who received the emails complained to the sender's ISP, the sender could end up having their internet service terminated.
"SPAM" Statute:
As to setting up an email proxy through VNN: It can be done through SMTP rules if the service supports it. The VNN I.T. staff will know. I'll ask.
The bottom line is the legality of sending the unsolicited content and DEFINITELY attaching a disclaimer with removal capability.

Of course,Police dept's aren't open to just any propaganda WN"S send them.Boston Unit National Alliance is currently wrapping up such a project,a Nation-Wide Law Enforcement DVD mailing about the Criminal ADL,since thev've applied PC pressure to force police dept's to pay the dirty ADL to train police officers about "hate groups".Hence,"topic specific" application of propaganda.

Seems like a damn good National Alliance project to me, Damage Case. Though mass mailings of DVDs must be super expensive. Especially compared to mass emailings of selected hard-hitting WN articles, designed to appeal to selected groups, such as student editors of college and HS newspapers.
Those emailings BTW, would generate newspaper interviews with Alex (or myself), phone calls with questions, and more members and guests for VNN's websites, etc.

Costs are running at about $1,000 plus various expensises, but this is a Nation-Wide distro, lots of computer print work, multiple persons, etc.WORK TOGETHER,BE AN ARYAN COMMUNITY.
P.S.rounder,our own "tabloid" is almost ready for print!

WHAT!!!??? National Alliance is going to publish a tabloid newspaper !!!???
Great news !!! As you probably know, Don Black and Stormfront just started publishing one, as well. I received a copy of their 1st edition and mailed it to Alex coupla weeks ago.
The emailing project I've proposed here has the potential of becoming a highly effective endeavor too. And it'll be super cheap to implement. All that is required for success is a few computer literate VNN'ers with INITIATIVE and willingness to devote coupla hours of their time, per week or month.
Well, how about it you WN Forum Supremacists ???? Are we the best, or not?
Who will step forward and show some INITIATIVE by offering assistance. There will be lots of "atta-boys", forthcoming to those with INITIATIVE .
So Whatchasay ????

It's actually going to be a computer/cut and paste job,not high-end,but it'll have N.V.org articles, along with flyers on preceeding pages. It's in the preliminary stages, initial distrobution will be universities, college campuses, etc. It'll be put together and distrobuted by the Boston Unit. This is a cheap, direct propaganda approach that is leaps and bounds better than tossing flyers.
The mass media coverage that flyering gets isn't,in my opinion, effective.Sure,we'll get the word out there, but the spin is always the same,"Hate flyers found on lawns..bla bla bla.
If we start targeting kids on campus,it might get talked about, articles written in school newspapers, etc.
Get it together White Man,the world won't wait up for us.
I think that this could actually be very simple to work out, once the initial setup is complete. I was thinking that perhaps Majordomo would be a good program to use:
http://www.greatcircle.com/majordomo/
Majordomo is a program which automates the management of Internet mailing lists. Commands are sent to Majordomo via electronic mail to handle all aspects of list maintenance. Once a list is set up, virtually all operations can be performed remotely by email, requiring no intervention upon the postmaster of the list site. (For a web-based interface to Majordomo, see the MajorCool add-on package).
Majordomo controls a list of addresses for some mail transport system (like sendmail or smail) to handle. Majordomo itself performs no mail delivery (though it has scripts to format and archive messages).

I can set up your spam project.
Here is my proposal: I will create a secure web page where an article can be pasted and distibuted to an email distribution list with the click of a button. The reply email address can be specified by the sender. I will also provide a page where recipients can easily remove their name from our list.
Here is what I require: Email addresses. Lots of them. Anyone who has access to University, government, corporate or other email lists can pm me with their lists. I will compile the lists. Rounder and others can decide what articles will go out and how often. I suggest sending one item per week.
Can we get these lists together?

Hot damn, Skinny Monkey. You and Pixi are raising my adrenelin level. You both have "can do" attitudes.
Setting up a special web page that contains specific and our most convincing WN articles sounds like the perfect way to go. Alex and I both BTW, have coupla extra websites (ie., "dot net", and "dot org".) Would those websites be suitable ?
So it seems, all we need now are email lists. We should start with student editors of "smaller" colleges and universities. There are thousands. And we'll just simply email them a copy of the TAA attached to our email which bears the subject of: "The White Friendly Newspaper is Attached". Then the body of the email will say something catchy and highly curiosity-provoking, though short. (Alex is excellent at that, as we all know).
Am I to understand that all you need are the email lists ?

Yes. In order to create a successful email "ad" campaign, good quality email lists are needed most. Most spam emails are sent to lists of hundreds of thousands of emails, some even send to millions. To ensure success, the emails should contain only text with no embedded hyperlinks or attachments. The spam filters will kill a lot of emails that contain attachments or links. Email addresses from Universities and local government agencies would be most valuable. Rounder, I will pm you with additional info.

Obviously, you know a hell of alot about this, Skinny Monkey. I envisioned emails with the TAA as an attachment. But you say that spam filters will kill lots of them. So, what's the alternative to attachments?
As for addresses of universities/colleges, as I recall Steve B posted some excellent links to those, awhile back.
This project has excellent potential for successes. So I hope our capable VNN'ers like yourself and others, don't "drop the ball". Let's make it happen !!!
