White Activists Open Fire On Anti-Racist Show
One People's Project Benefit Cancelled; Confederate Hammerskins Accused

Orlando, Florida -- A punk rock concert being held to benefit the bankrupt One People's Project was cancelled over the weekend after unknown persons fired eleven shots into the venue where it was to be held.
Members of Orlando, Florida, Anti-Racist Action, who have twice been beaten, imprisoned and hospitalized this year while trying to hold anti-racist protests, issued a statement today expressing anger and disappointment over the closing of their show, accusing the Confederate Hammerskins of being behidn the attack.

The Orlando police department beat forty ARA activists and imprisoned seventeen after members of the group attacked police during a National Socialist Movement march through a black part of the city. The Confederate Hammerskins later beat up a number of ARA organizers outside of an earlier concert the group had called to raise money for the One People's Project.

One People's Project organizer Daryle Lamont Jenkins was evicted from his apartment in New Jersey earlier this year and was forced to close the group's PO Box for lack of funds. He has been sqatting with the friends in an impoverished party of Philadelphia, and is said to be short on funds to run the website.

Other communist and Jewish events in the area, including a "poetry slam" and other garbage, has been cancelled in response to the shooting, citing "security concerns" and a lack of belief that the communists can protect themselves.
