hey, that's pretty good, but I've done even better. Here's the story, that I've only recently been granted the protection to tell, ruled so by the Supreme Court attached to the recent decision to lift a gag order on some librarians (also from CT, amazingly enough) from commenting on certain provisions of the Patriot Act:
Some years ago, I managed to concoct a special variation of fuel oil. It was based primarily on fish guts, which I could obtain gratis at the local docks. For each 55 gallon drum of fish guts, I added battery acid from two 24 size automotive batteries, 3 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce, and (most importantly as a catalyst), a week's worth of Monkey urine soaked into the pages of Tuesday's edition of the New Haven Register's classified section. Mix it up, leave it in the hot sun, and let it liquefy!!
I got a stunning 52mpg with this stuff!!! Plus, it smelled like Monkfish, which was always a conversation starter. And my SD ran silently on the stuff, and I really mean, silently!!!! Quieter than an electric golfcart, and ultimately TOO silently. Because as soon as the feds found out, they pressured the fishermen to relocate to the New London docks (right near the Sub base). Plus, they checked the immigration status of my neighbor with the monkey and had him deported back to Madagascar. They confiscated my equipment under The Defense of the Realm Act, and brought it to the Sub base. Seems the Diesel powered subs run even quieter than a Nuke sub with this fuel, and faster too!!!!!!!
So a word of warning to you friend, better keep this secret stuff secret, or the guys in dark sunglasses and trench coats will be knocking on YOUR door next. Believe me, it's no fun!!!!!!
